Species: Moon Elf
Abilities:
1. One of his abilities is that he can grow plants from seeds. Nothing major but he can grow small fruits (berries, strawberries etc.) and herbs.
2. He can conjure a powerful shield of energy which blocks attacks and repels the attacker. But the more often he has to use it or the longer he has to sustain it, the more energy this drains. The same goes for how many he is protecting. If it is just himself it takes less energy than when protecting two or more. If he is to tired he can't call upon the shield at all.
3. By using his moonelf heritage he can cast illusions around him. This can be used to escape, to just have a little fun or for a show. However it is limited to phantom like properties meaning that though they are very realistic, they won't actively interact with their environment unless Ayluin focuses on it and he can only do this with one illusion at a time. The imagery also can't touch anyone, nor can they be touched. So someone thinking clearly and brave enough to try and touch the illusions will make them disappear on touch. The only time his illusion might be strong enough to just ripple instead of disappearing is when they are cast under a full moon. During a lunar eclipse, the illusions can't be called upon at all due to the moon being blocked between planets. This also causes them to be more feeble if it is overcast.
4. Due to hard work in practicing healing spells, Ayluin has learned how to use a medium strong healing spell. While it won’t heal fatal wounds nor bring back the dead, it will be useful in stemming the blood until the hospital can look at it. Small cuts and bruises he can heal entirely. While this is useful when people get wounded, especially the small injuries, it also requires quite a bit of energy and he has to be able to focus on the healing act.
He is also learning other skills, one being from the ancient Norse origins with Erik’s help.

Personality:
Very kind, friendly and honest, though he will tell a lie if it is the only way to avoid someone getting hurt. He is also loyal to a high degree. Ayluin will stand by his friends and partner no matter what they do to him or anyone else. If he cares about someone or loves someone, they can pretty much get away with everything. Nonetheless he does know how to say no and that he has to at times to have the day work out well. This at least avoids double appointments. He is the type to bake cakes and cookies or make pudding for the one he loves, wishing to make them happy.
Bio:
Ayluin was born on a clear moonlit night in the royal palace of Saela. Rumors have circulated around their kingdom that this was also the cause for his Silver hair and pale grey eyes. Both carry the color of the full moon. His first years growing up were pretty much like any other child. He was allowed to play, have fun and his mother often took him into Saela to be under their people convinced this would turn him into a compassionate Prince and later King. However as he grew older and more adventurous, the boy often left the safety behind and went around the nearby city until found by royal guards and taken back home. From beginning on though he has been groomed for his future role, which meant limited offensive, his father even only grudgingly allowed his son to learn to cast a shield, and a lot of prattle about politics and the ruling systems around Odoraen. Something that bored Ayluin very easily.
Next to these lessons he was also getting educated in song. As a very important part of Saelan culture, song was a must learn as well as at least one instrument at which Ayluin picked the piano, but that were classes Ayluin actually enjoyed. The same went for his ability to shield. He found out he can when once by accident casting it for a short moment to avoid injury from falling branches during a storm and has since been training with the court mages, much to his father's dismay but he allowed it. One day after those classes on the way home he came across a bard that was telling stories about far away lands and how they didn't hold up a hierarchy. Stories about a mythical fruit with amazing powers. Ayluin grew eager and curious to meeting these other people and seeing other lands. So one day he just up and left the palace behind, not intending to return or take over his father's mantle. To Odoraen he has been lost ever since, but Ayluin has started himself a new life out in the other lands before eventually moving to Soleil, from which he then learned the stories originated. Now no more than a fellow commoner, Ayluin has managed to earn enough money for the trip and renting an average house. At first his plan was to learn about the fruit and move on, but he quickly took a liking to the tropical climate of Soleil and decided to stay.
Ayluin has been reading up on the legendary fruit a lot. When he came to Soleil he was really pure and pretty much never knew how bad the world truly was. He met Drizz quite soon after arriving in the city. A drow that was already of age and they became friends over time. In Soleil he also met with Erik who actually tried to pickpocket him the first meeting. Somehow the two ended up becoming friends and even came to live in Ayluin’s house. The elf’s unspoiled mind would soon not get one but three hard hits; however as first Erik got shot and nearly died, the Halloween event was very shocking too and later he found out that Drizz also got hurt, stabbed. This really shook Ayluin after being so sheltered as he grew up for hundreds of years, but he had come to terms with it. Not just that he has started to develop feelings unfamiliar to him for Erik. He has yet to find out it means he is falling for the rough young man. His company also has grown to a point where it pretty much pays all Ay needs for a comfy life and more and he loves working in the gardens.

Skills:
He is a very good singer. Trained from a very young age, Ayluin has developed a beautiful voice for singing. Partly due to it being in their genes.
Playing Piano Alongside singing, he has also learned to play the piano from about the same age as he started to learn to sing. He is quite fast in picking up new scores and can often hear very well himself whether he is hitting the right notes or not.
Art of Self-Defense He has been practicing Martial Arts under the expert tutoring of his friend Drizzyr. He teaches Ayluin how to defend himself and already taught him some moves. Basic simple ones for now.
Body Type: Slim and lithe
Health: Since his move out of the clean, crisp forest air and more among the people, Ayluin has not yet built up the same resistance against colds and related illnesses like the flu. Though it has gotten a lot better, he still gets a cold or the flu a bit sooner than most. Until he has gotten more used to it all. It's not like he would get sick at a drop of rain but if he gets drenched, he has a higher chance of catching something than the average human.
Strengths:
His shielding ability is very powerful and his 'go to' skill if he ever somehow ends up in a fight. He abhors fighting and violence, so he will not be on the attacking side and is more likely to walk away from the conflict.
Weakness:
Due to his kind and friendly nature, he is somewhat easy to take advantage of, if you know how to bring it. For his friends and possible loved one not a request is to big as long as it doesn't clash with other very important appointments or events. Ayluin is a mix between loyalty and diligence.
What you look for in a partner:

♡ Possibly someone that likes to make Sunset beach walks, something Ayluin loves due to being new to the ocean.

He is one of the main characters in the book I am writing. Though it says prince, that is more on account for his own area, while in Soleil he is just another elf. He will not expect to be treated as royalty (in fact, please don't treat him as royalty, this would not sit well with the poor guy) wink
