Recently renovated into a small conservatory for tropical plants.
Ayluin's Bedroom:
A room where Ayluin either retreats or sleeps. The bed is a double one and the television right across his bed for convenience. To the further side of his room, Ayluin has his personal small library with many topics about history and nature. There is also one entire shelf dedicated to books about herbs and natural remedies.
Erik's Room:
It's not very large as Ayluin expanded his main bedroom on the account of not really expecting anyone staying over before Erik moved in with him. Ayluin makes sure to keep it clean as well, always taking it along with the rest of the house. The cat mural has been removed recently and replaced with a painting with a murder (group/flock) of ravens in the night sky as well as on the ground.
Bathrooms:
A spacious bathroom with a bath one can easily step into. There is also a shower in case one would prefer to take a shower. The lights can be controlled as far as dimming and changing color. The cupboard under the sink is filled with soft towels, scented bath oils and next to the sink stands an incense burner.
Living Room:
The living room is where Ayluin spends most his time if he is at home. It is open and light with enough sitting area for a group of friends. The large television can be hidden by an automatic sliding door so most of the time it looks like it is just a wall. In one of the spacier corners stands a piano that he likes to play one when he feels like it.
Kitchen:
A large kitchen with plenty of room to cook and open towards an extra dining area. Though Ayluin doesn't expect guests for a night or longer, he always does keep his kitchen stocked in case someone just visits for a day.
Garage:
Currently empty as Ayluin has no car or anything else.

His silver colored hair glimmering where the rays hit him. Slowly the man stirred and briefly tightened the muscles around his eyes before they fluttered open gently. Ayluin had arrived in Soleil to stay permanently yesterday and spent most of the day getting the house ready. This had been his first decent sleep in a while. The elf yawned and forced himself to sit up in his bed rubbing his eyes with his arm. It would seem he had forgotten to close the curtains properly. Still Ayluin didn't worry about it and instead of laying down anew he stretched himself and got out of bed.
Once the blankets were off it revealed his slim figure, almost feminine perhaps and he stretched once more with one arm up and one in front. He wasn't all to tall and it showed. Soon after his bare feet had touched the ground however, the elf made way to his bathroom, took a nice shower and brush his teeth before drying off and putting on some light, thin clothes and walked to the door, slipping on some easy shoes. There was nothing much left to do, so he went outside and decided to have a look around his new home. He already very much liked the tropical theme compared to the forests he had often seen.
Having woken up earlier than usual that morning, Rowan had excitedly gotten herself ready for the day. She had been in contact with her new friend Ayluin to get together. Oddly enough, he didn't live that far from her, just a few houses down the street. Smiling as she walked, she pulled her gloves onto her hands, her extra precaution and flexed her fingers. As much as she appreciated the fact that the gloves protected her and kept her powers at bay, there was no better feeling than her hands being free of them, but she couldn't risk it. Looking back up at the houses, she counted a few until she found the one she was looking for. "Ah, there you are." She spoke quietly to herself as she approached. Walking up to the door, she knocked hard enough to make sure it could be heard. As she waited, she braided her hair back, then wrapped the braid into a bun on the back of her head, managing to pin it in place with a few pins she had in her bag. She wondered what the day would hold for them and what he had planned. Also, she wondered if he had been able to get out any other places yet. She hadn't been out much still since arriving, she had tried to go on a date, but it hadn't really gone well. Feeling a little discouraged at that thought, she shook her head to chase away the thought. She'd try it again at some other point maybe, but just making friends at this point was more important to her than dating. Letting her smile slide back into place, she patiently waited for Ayluin to answer.

Ayluin had gotten up rather early. Not that it was unusual on itself as he was used to early rises, but this was the first time he actually already had something planned out to go out with a friend somewhere, so he wanted to make sure he was fully awake and ready. Once his alarm had gone around sunrise, the elf had gotten out of bed and into the shower so he was all clean before he got dressed. To be fair it was his hair that took the longest time to tame, as always. It was so long it easily took an hour to dry and be brushed thoroughly. Nonetheless cutting it off was unthinkable to the young man.
That was one thing he would never admit. Once he was done, he had gotten to the kitchen and made some breakfast and some coffee to start with. He had bought himself a coffee maker just recently after tasting the good stuff in the cafe. Once he was done he brushed his teeth and went to the living room to wait. They had agreed that Rowan would come to his home first and from there they could move to the ferry. Ayluin had not told Rowan where they were going because he wanted to surprise his friend. His recent visit to that forest had been almost magical and he was eager to show it to Rowan, though he wasn't sure if she had ever been there before. even if she had been though, the elf was certain they would have a great day out there.
When the knock came the elf had just started to pack a large bag with food and drinks but then made sure to get to the door with some haste. It wouldn't do to have his guest wait now would it? Once he reached it, he unlocked it and opened it, giving Rowan a smile when he saw them outside the door. "Good morning Rowan. Good to see you again." he said, pleased to meet up again. "I was just getting the bag ready for today, please come in and make yourself at home." he said and stepped aside so she could walk in. There was no harm in her exploring his home a bit either if they wanted to. "Feel free to look around if you want to. I'll be in the kitchen. Can I get you anything? A drink or some food?" Ayluin asked as he made his way through the hall.
As she stood waiting, Rowan looked around the neighborhood with a mild interest. The houses here were interesting, actually all the buildings here seemed so much different than the ones back home. It was busier almost. Her thoughts were quickly interrupted by the sounds of the door unlocking and opening. The familiar face and smile that came with it made her smile sweetly in return. "Thank you Ayluin. It is good to see you again also." Entering the home, she tried to politely look around his home in interest. Elves were not a species she was terribly familiar with, so she was curious to see how one would live. Granted, there was only so much difference the homes could hold here, but the decorating or things people owned said a lot about them too. Following after her friend with interest, she shook her head a bit, "No, I'm all set. Thank you though." She softly declined his offer of a drink or food. Running a gloved hand over the walls gently, the home radiated such an energy. It was interesting, but she figured it had more to do with the energy of the elf himself, than anything else. Walls and surfaces had a way of collecting memories and energies off beings who spent long amounts of time around them. It was like they could tell stories without even speaking. Removing her hand and turning her attention back to Ayluin, she eyed him curiously, "So what do we have planned for today?" Her tone was curious, excited, she was eager to set out on their adventure.

The elf looked over his shoulder at his friend while he walked to the kitchen and asked his question. When she replied though he smiled to her and went to the kitchen to continue his packing. He didn't give it a second thought to let Rowan wander through the house, he trusted her. While she looked at the house, Ayluin worked on the bag which was giving some difficulty with closing. It would seem he packed it to full. Still, he wasn't one to give up quickly so he kept trying. As the day passed the bag would get emptier and emptier so it was no problem. He looked up for a moment when she asked her question, his silvery gaze resting on her as she stood nearby. "Now that..." he started before making a last attempt to close the bag, succeeding this time and he smiled and clapped his hands. "...would be telling." he finished and chuckled a bit.
He picked up the weighty bag and threw it over his shoulder on his back before resting it on both shoulders and walked to Rowan. "It's a surprise. I just hope you will like it as much as I think you will." he said trailing of a bit as he considered the possibility she might not. "Ah well...one way to find out right?" he said with a smile, clearly eager for their trip to start. Though he couldn't plan beyond reaching the forest, as he didn't know it well yet, he looked forward to spending time together under the emerald canopy. The elf glanced at the clock before he became a bit more hastened. "Oh! What I can tell you is we need to hurry. We need to catch the vehicle on time." he said and smiled at his friend before he quickly made way to the door and turned around. He didn't bother about shoes much.
It was good weather so he didn't put on a jacket or anything either. He was wearing his favored thin, silken blouse and pants. "Let's go!" he said with a chuckle. Of course he had a feeling she wouldn't be in the dark for long. After all once they reached the ferry it might be quite clear to her they were headed to the forest. But Ayluin wanted his friend to enjoy the feeling of impending surprise as long as she could. He always liked that feeling of excitement. The elf wouldn't rush her but once they were outside he locked the door and he made way to the beach so they could catch the next ferry over there.

Ayluin had woken up quite early this day. Back home he would wake this early too if he had managed to escape the castle for a night and slept outside under the starry sky. Back then it had been the sun waking him as well, just as it had here as he forgot to draw his curtains, again. There was still so much to get used to for the runaway prince. At the castle the most tasks were done by staff after all. Though the elf was rather proud at how far he had come since. He had managed to leave Odoraen behind completely, owned a house in a prestigious neighborhood and he even managed to set up his own little business from home which brought in plenty of cash to pay for the living costs and more. The house was paid off completely but he still had bills and had to buy groceries etcetera after all.
That said he was easily one of the rich people here in Soleil. Ayluin had been idly musing this as he still lay on his bed but it hadn't taken him long to get up and get into the shower to get ready for the day. Once he was clean and dry, the young man went to the kitchen to make breakfast, he sent a small advertisement for his small gardening business on Chamblr and enjoyed a peaceful breakfast. Once he was done and had cleaned up the elf went outside and after some thinking he had climbed up the roof of his home before relaxing on the more flat area of it. Of course it was true he had left his home behind and he had his reasons. But he sure missed his home even so. He was suffocating in that life in Saela and he always did feel the need to be free to do as he pleased and devise his own path into a life all his own.
A sigh escape Ayluin as he looked up at the sky. Even in the bright daylight this brought back memories. Memories of those rare free days that he managed to escape to. More often he managed to sneak out at nights though. The times spent high in the tree tops of the forest staring up at the pale moon in a sky that looked endless. The times spent swimming in the lake with the drow that lived nearby. For a long time he even had the hardest time getting used to all the modern equipment that this world away from his home possessed. Where he had been used to bards and musicians, this place had radio and internet. Still, he didn't regret leaving Odoraen Isle to break free from his constrained life back at the castle.
♚ A woman walked gracefully in the heat of the day it did not seem to bother her in the slightest. She wore the appropriate attire for this kind of weather though, but her mind was not on the heat not in slightest. Yoshi's mind was on things, she achieved before coming to see an old friend. She woke up like any other day the voices and urges assaulted her mind even darkest ones. It made her shutter, she would rather kill herself before, she laid a finger on her son! It sometimes started out like that, but she always remains strong, and at her lowest, she would kill a common criminal. Deep meditation before, she started her day help with these issues greatly clearing her mind. As she walked her steps would bounce back between clap clap to deathly silent. She was raised to be a Ninja-assassin, and these steps were like breathing to her. especially when her mind lay elsewhere.
♚ '' I woke up the voices they were there always waiting to attack like always. I started my day with a deep meditation to keep them at bay. I then took care of myself got dressed, used the bathroom, brush my teeth, wash my face. A made Tanjiro his favorite breakfast for school I knew he'd like it. I woke him up on time always early told him to get dressed, and to come downstairs. We ate breakfast together like always, and we talked about things. Our conversation leads to engineering. and he told me in his words: Mama I'm going to build you a big old house just you wait! That made me smile my heartfelt warm because I knew he would. His a smart boy always has been I wish nothing, but the best for him. When it was time for us to go I drove him to preschool and kissed him on the cheek goodbye. He told me he loved me, and I told him back. And no-
♚The clumsy ninja hit a bump on the sidewalk making her fall forward, she made an eek sound like a mouse. Turning as she fell Yoshi saved herself from face planting into the pavement. She landed on her back instead, and by doing so she saved the bento boxes she was carrying. Yoshi gave a sigh her calm demeanor broken just like the fall was with her back!''H-how c-can i-i be a ninja and be s-so c-clumsy'' she scolded herself before getting up. Checking the bento boxes everything seem to be in order then, she headed off as if nothing happened. Indeed a clumsy ninja-assassin? How could that be, well to explain when her head is in the clouds it is easy for her to get clumsy. When she has total control over her mind, she is far less likely to slip up, but she is just plain old clumsy prone as well. Yoshi thought about Ayluin a friend and her employer whom, she had not seen for two weeks and some days.
♚For you see dear readers, she used to be his bodyguard way back in the past, but now she was just a friend paying a visit. When she got to his house, she rung the doorbell and waited. ''I hope he likes my food it has a mother touch after all'' she thought to herself. Indeed her killing skills were only matched by her cooking skills, and that is saying something. Yoshi had added the most important ingredient of all love, and no not that type of love. Ayluin is a good man with a good heart, and he only deserved the best that is how she saw it anyways. The smell of the bento box lunch could be smelled upon the wind one for each of them, and she hopes he was hungry. Along with some homemade tea, this was going to be a relaxing luncheon. All the while the poor woman did her best not to overthink the situation as, she often did instead, she hummed. OCC:

The warmth of the day seemed to be gripping around itself mercilessly. When the young elf had decided to move to Soleil and make it his new home, he must have missed that little notice. If Ayluin had known it could get this warm he would have been better prepared. The moonelf was made for cool nights and the shadows of trees that protected them from the heat of the day. Even with Quaenia Desert just a mountain ridge away. The high Ettanath Mountains were tall enough to block out the heat from the scorch. Here in Soleil however, the poor elf was hit with it full blast and there was little reprieve. The moment he had woken up, which had been early due to the high pressure outside, Ayluin had been plagued by a headache. He had also already taken a shower, a cold one in the hopes of it helping him feel better.
Back at the forest he would easily swim in the lake and stand under the waterfall. Both of which could get pretty cold. But it helped none. A sigh escaped the young man sitting on his couch with his air conditioning on high. It was a good thing that the moonelf had learned to work with electric devices during his run from Odoraen. At first it had been really scary he had to admit. But by now he just thought of how useful all these little machines were! Today the air conditioner was his favorite. Ayluin had forgone his usual silk pants in this heat and instead was wearing shorts that he bought here in Soleil a few days ago. On top of that he had just thrown a white sleeveless hooded vest. Though the hood was down naturally, was hot enough without the hood on.
It was not really Ayluin's plan to do anything today. Nothing could make him leave his house until he was used to this heat. Or so he told himself. Since he arrived here it hadn't been this warm. But in time he would adjust, he hoped. In the middle of him reading one of the books about magic and practicing magic, he heard his doorbell to his surprise and he looked up from his work a bit confused, dropping the illusion magic he was working on. Blinking a bit he thought to himself that he didn't expect any visitors and he sighed a bit, closing his book. This weather was really a pain to deal with and his headache hadn't gotten less yet either. Still he placed the book on the table and walked to the door. In this heat it was best not to let them wait.
When he opened his door he first blinked and looked away before sheltering his eyes with his hand and forced himself to look at who was at the door. The sudden flash of full on sun in his face had caused him to flinch slightly. But his expression changed to surprised and a smile when he saw who was at the door. It had been a bit since they last met! "Hello Yoshi. Been a while. It is good to see you. Come in, come in." he said as he opened the door fully and stepped aside so she could walk in. While he waited he blinked away the black spots that had started forming over his vision and when his friend was inside completely he closed the door. His curtains were open, but the sun didn't shine directly in the room, so he hadn't been prepared for that much light.
The elf walked further inside and picked up the books he had dropped callously on the couch and the table so that his friend could sit once fully ready, though he hadn't missed the delicious scent coming from the boxes. "Did you even bring food?" he asked and smiled to her with books in hand as he walked to the closet and placed them in there instead. He always gave his visitors his full attention when they came by so the books would just be a distraction. "Have a seat. Can I get you anything? Something cold to drink perhaps? Or rather tea?" he asked as he walked back to Yoshi.
♚ When Ayluin opens the door she greeted him with a lovely smile it was not too big or too small, but just right. '' T-thank you i-it is good to s-see you as well m-my f-friend.'' she said noticing his wince from the sun, and the poor elf had to wince from the sun. Walking in her mind was trying to think again, but she suppressed the urge. Yoshi knew enough about moon-elves, and how they prefer a more cooler climate than this. '' W-winter n-needs to come fast for you'' someone had to say it a cooler climate would do the elf some good. Yoshi looked all around the living room as she sat down it was lovely as always. The moon elf had a sense of taste, and she liked it, although she felt a bit small that was okay. Then came a twitch not visible, but one of the mind a dark urge to hurt him. The urge said'' You could carve out his pretty elven eyes'' it was gone as soon as it came. Good thing, she was looking all around, and not at Ayluin pretty face. It would have been really awkward if, she just didn't say anything even for a second.
♚ Instead, she played it like, she was in aw in his living room. After living with these impulses for, so long and what they did, she knew how to play it cool. When he asked about the food, she smiled politely before saying'' I-i thought i-it would be a-appropriate for the o-occasion I hope y-you like it'' her voice had always been on the soft side. It didn't help that she stutters all this making it appear, she was a shy mousy woman, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Yoshi always seems calm and composed, but the vibe, she gave off this day was one of happiness. She took the boxes off each other placing them side by side, so he can take a look-see. He would find the meals at a decent temperature once he opens his box. When he asked if she would like something to drink, she would respectfully decline the offer.'' T-thank y-you, but that w-wont be necessary i-i brought my own f-for u-us both'' she made the point of placing his tea atop his box. It was pulled from her purse along with her own cup of tea and sealed up chopsticks from them both.

N-nothing s-serious I hope?'' she asked politely waiting for him to sit down before eating. Stuttering was something, she was used to at this point. It was not something that truly bothered her oddly enough when she sings, she never stutters.

The moonelf was glad when he could close his door. Both to lessen the bright light as well as the heat. Of course it didn't escape Yoshi, but Ayluin wasn't exactly surprised. She had spend quite a long time around him watching the slightest details after all. The young man did not forget what she had done for him while he escaped Odoraen. This woman was one of the reasons he had made it to Soleil in one piece. Ayluin gave a slightly weak smile once he had placed the books away and turned back to his guest. "Just a slight headache. I am not used to this weather. I am sure it will get better with time.
We did live near a desert." he said putting on a brave face. In truth they never noticed the desert's heat either and his head was killing him, but he wouldn't let it spoil their time together. All he could hope was that it would let up once the pressure outside did, or that he got used to it real quick. The elf also appreciated the food she made for him and he knew her cooking was amazing. The weather would not take that from him either. "I'm sure I will. You're cooking is amazing." He sat down as he spoke that compliment and looked at the boxes she had now separated from one another. "It looks great. Thank you, Yoshi."
So she even brought tea huh? "You think of everything." Ayluin said with a chuckle. "Tanjiro is lucky to have a mother like you." The elf wasn't joking or teasing either. Yoshi had always been very caring, even to him while he had started as just another guy hiring her for security. It was a stark difference with his own parents. Not that he had been deprived from motherly love, but his mother had always been to scared to go in against his father, especially when he had another go at their son. All Ayluin could hope was that the boy knew just how lucky he was. Not that he had big doubts. Tanjiro was a sweet boy.
The moonelf sat down on the couch next to Yoshi and placed two coasters on the table so his friend wouldn't feel bad about placing the tea on the table. "thank you for bringing all this, I appreciate it." he said and smiled to Yoshi next to him. "I've been quite well thanks. Even made a few friends around Soleil already. How are you and Tanjiro doing?" he replied in return and calmly accepted the chopsticks from her. Another skill he could thank this lady for. She was the one that taught him how to eat with these things.
Ayluin opened the box and started eating once Yoshi was. Though far from his original home, he still had much of the same manners. While he waited for her reply he took his time enjoying the food. It had been a while since he ate Yoshi's cooking and it was good to see it hadn't changed one bit. "This is delicious. But I never doubt your cooking skills. They were always welcome during our travels too." he spoke about their past together and smiled. It was a history that started in Odoraen which he didn't feel bad about remembering at all. It had been the peak of his sudden new discoveries.
