No matter how much she trained, Beatrix knew there were some skill sets that could never be learned. She didn't have the think body build of a draft, or heavy, hard hitting bear paws like Callisto did. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing, she knew; having a varied team who could play off each other's strengths and weaknesses to make a well-rounded group of huntresses was, for all intents and purposes, the dream. The Flock would always be stronger together, and she was honored to play her part. She loved her Sisters. That didn't stop her from being a little envious, sometimes, of the things she wasn't capable of -- not when she had her eyes set on being the best of the best.
Beatrix adorned her usual hunting leathers instead of her jewels of flowers today; they were out to bring meat back to the Flock, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to have a little fun while doing it. "A jug of wine to whoever brings back the most?" she suggested, eager for a challenge, to make their hunt a little more interesting. She'd do it even without a wager, but it was more fun this way, wasn't it? Beatrix shot her companion a grin. She rolled her shoulders and stretched out her legs, bouncing a little in place, eager to get started.
