*The first speed date wasn't bad. Cali had some promise. Not as a lover of course. No, as someone of use. Nasya has never connected with someone on a romantic or sexual level before. Why would she now? She had more important things to deal with. Mitch was just lucky she got convinced to ride this wave out. She would never know what gave him the bright idea to sign her up for this. Nasya stood in front of the building waiting for her date. A guy this time. Eyes looked at the artsy sign as her huge wings shifted slightly. She always ignored the rude people who stared at her appearance. It happened too many times for her to care. Some even ran away since she looked like a demon with her eerie eyes and nicely placed horns. At least the first date treated her relatively normal. Why a drawing workshop? She never attempted such a thing in her life.*

He has never done something like this before. The raven haired young man would come prepared in a suit with some confidence in the chosen location for finally his skill of drawing would come to be his saving grace in an unknown situation. Prowling on thugs with guns seemed easier than this, or so thought the young hero-to-be as he parked his two seater moped, but mustering up courage the silver eyed man began making his way to the drawing workshop. He stopped for a second, his eyes having seen something he wasn't expecting, before continuing his calm suave walk forward. He figured perhaps this womanly figure standing before him was simply a cosplayer...who felt more natural dressed up. Perhaps the woman had a peculiarity which caused her unique outward appearance. Either way, it was rude to make a lady wait and he wasn't about to be rude to a woman he hadn't known.

"No," *she replied before realizing she probably needed to introduce herself,* "you can call me Lola." *She wasn't a fan of lying. That's why she worded it in such a way. Mitch signed her up under something completely different than what she might usually use. Well, it wasn't completely different. Nasya didn't ask for his name since she just accepted him to introduce himself after her.* "Are you good at drawing?" *She asked as they made their way into the place. The woman wasn't nearly as dressed up as he was, but she didn't have a ton of options with having wings on her back. It was typically either casual or sexy. Going to a workshop didn't seem to fit the latter.*

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lola." Reply the young man with a cold charm not like that of a puppy dog but that of a lion who casual allow you to approach close. In this case it was like the lion respectfully approaching the lady. In her casual dress and him a suit to match it seemed they both; had good common sense, though he wore something with mire darken hues like that of burgundy and black. "My name is Jeremiah. I'm glad to be drawing with you."

As they walked to the spot Jeremiah play the gentleman and held the door open for Lola, allowing her to enter before joining her side and hearing her question. "I guess you could say that I am. Depends the style we're talking about but for the most part I do well in art." With her current portion of curiosity feed Jeremiah only saw it fair to appease his own appetite of curiosity. "What's your favorite style of art form?"

*She was not impressed with his cool charm, but it didn't annoy her either. He seemed nice enough. Was that a good quality in her eyes? No. Nice people tend to be weak. At least the ones who depend on such a trait. He didn't seem like the type, however. Acting more like a gentleman as some would say. If she found out he was putting on airs she'd want nothing to do with him. She couldn't tolerate liars in any form.* "What style are you good at? Or prefer to do." *She said merely to continue the conversation. Did it interest her? No, at least not yet.* "I don't know. I never learned anything about art." *She answered honestly even though she knew it was probably a strange thing for someone to admit to. Soon they were sat in the small workshop room--next to each other. Looks like they were sharing a table. The teacher seemed to be waiting for everyone to get situated before starting a mini-lesson.*

"If we're speaking on skill, pencil sketching is what I excel in best. If we're talking about preference, oil painting has always captivated my eyes." It was a rather spacious and the quiet hallway they walked down but it carried well the nonchalant truth in his voice. and also left a woman's voice carrying quite well as well. There was almost an air of authority to her that would match her slightly intimidating looks, and yet with all of that in the cards she seems so very fragile to him. Perhaps it was a boy's naivety that would make him think such a thing of this woman but either way he did care for her like a precious glass rose. At least for as long as she'd allow anyway.

Upon entering the salon the raven haired young man notice the seating arrangement and they figured they wanted them sitting side-by-side. He sat and soon after so did his date as well; An interesting fact being revealed as the lady took her seat. "That's interesting but not an issue. It's exactly for reasons such as that that things like this exist." While it was unexpected it wasn't such a shock to Jeremiah that Lola didn't know much about art since not many people fo dabble in it. Many others would rather be partying than painting something, but Jeremiah's skill with a spray can always wowed at parties with his graffiti art.

"Don't stress about learning something new because today, I've got you."

*Pencil? Looks like he was going to be in his element today. Good for him. She didn't know what in the world he meant by oil painting. There were different kinds of painting? Not just one looks realistic and the other looks like random shapes? Who had time for such nonsense when there were real-world issues?* "I suppose." *She said in response to his talk about the reason for such places to exist. This guy looked young but didn't seem to act like it. Sam was definitely more child-like and he was twenty-two. Hell, Mitch was probably even worse at times and he's older. Did she just realize she was surrounded by children? The thought made one side of her mouth curve ever so slightly up--for just a moment.* "Oh, I'm not." *She said after paying attention to what he said at the end. Adding the last bit like an afterthought.* "But thank you."

The brief lesson went by with them not talking since it would be rude--which was fine by her. Nasya tried to follow along like a good student. Why not since she was here. Soon it was time to work on their own pieces. Apparently creating something for your date was key. Odd colored orbs shifted to look at Jeremiah. Draw something for him? There was no way she was going to attempt to draw a portrait. That's for sure. Perhaps she should just draw a stick figure in a suit and be done with it. Can't forget the glasses. Making them bigger than needed would be a great finishing touch. The thought made her stifle a laugh. "Do you know what you are going to draw?"

To her thank you he only gave a nod of acceptance and a soft smile in return. Lola spoke clearly, bravely and knew what she wanted. She was a real woman in that sense that despite her outward appearance it was perhaps her inner beauty which had stunned him just before meeting her. Surely, she was nothing like the other females he usually talks to; For better or for worse.

The lesson began and the two of them were silent. He because it was out of simple politeness, for he needn't pointers, but to his gray steel eyes he could notice the sharp interest in his date. A narrowed brow and sharp gaze; Irises with hues he'd never seen in another before. As her lips stay pressed with silent interest Jeremiah couldn't help by take in the side vantage of Lola to mind. Like a still photo he'd take a still imagine to mind and a softly sly smirk bloomed upon his softly full lips.

"Hmm...I'm not sure yet, but I getting an idea." Lola's decisive glance to him hadn't gone unnoticed and he couldn't help but feel amused by her youthful nervousness. She didn't quite show such emotion but Jeremiah imagine as such, since she's never done a thing with the arts and now has to make something for a blind date. The woman had nerves of steel form what Jeremiah sees, yet this only made him more curious as to what was her Achilles heel. Perhaps not even a single night would be enough to ever know all about Lola.

"Say, what do you think about that thing over there Lola?" Pointing to their left side, since they were sitting side-by-side, Jeremiah point nonchalantly to a curious looking piece of decorative art and waited for Lola to turn her attention to the object.

*At least he wasn't quite sure yet. She didn't want him to finish before her. Then again, she could stick to the stick figure idea and call it a day. Wait. There is a good chance Mitch would find out. If she drew something like that he'd definitely annoy her about it. Fine. She'll actually put some thought into it. Eyes shifted to look at him when he uttered the word 'say'. What thing? She turned to look in the direction he was pointing to see an odd-looking tea kettle. Is that's what it was? It was a bit too far away to see all the details, but she could already come to some type of opinion.* "It's...interesting." *Probably not the response he was looking for. Didn't art connoisseurs get all detailed when analyzing creative works? It looked a bit over the top for no good reason.*

"Interesting, you say." Jeremiah's eyes gave no indication to a positive or negative thought until a small, visible, smirk spread to his lips. "Fair enough." He asked a simple question and received a simple answer; Another mental photo taken of Lola at an angle.

With blank sheet of white paper before Jeremiah, and with Lola to hid left side, his left hand finally grabbed the pencil. With a stroke down and then right, a stroke up and then left, Jeremiah kept doing this as he kept his eyes focused on the paper but his lips moving for a question. "Have you decided what you're going to attempt to draw?"

*He seemed satisfied with the answer; although, she didn't know why he smirked. Nasya glanced over at the item he pointed at moments ago before returning her gaze to him as he started on something.* "No." *She didn't even think about it since she decided that doing the stick figure idea was a bad one. Now what? Her eyes slowly looked around the room at whoever else was there. Chatting away and seemingly already starting on their pieces. Nasya rested her chin in the palm of her hand as she thought. Eyes looking at the item he pointed out before resting on him. Watching as he worked for a moment before going back to her blank piece of paper.*

Jeremiah gave a small amused chuckle to her bold truth; His eyes and face trying to keep focused on his paper. She was so straightforward that he wasn't sure if she was building up suspense for a grand reveal or buying time in hopes for a prayer to be answered. Deciding he had time with his project he decided to try aiding his date by play something like 21 questions. "Well, what are some objects that interest you? What colors catch your eyes? What might be something you desire in this life?" The reason he asks questions was that he hoped it would get Lola's mind running and hopefully, maybe, give her an inspiration on what she wants to see come to life on paper.

*She looked over at him when he chuckled--wondering what was so amusing. Her eyes narrowing slightly. It only lasted a moment, however. Soon her thoughts were on the questions asked. They were all difficult questions minus the last one.* "I desire for people to see the truth of this world and the society we live in." *She didn't see how such a thing might be related to drawing, however. Nasya still decided to ponder the other questions a bit. Eyes shifted to the object he pointed out before.* "Gold...as a color. And maybe ancient things." *She finally answered while looking back at him. A barely-there smile appeared--one she might have seemed to be trying to hide as she stared at her paper now.* "I think I got an idea." *With that said, she started on her own drawing.*

Well, well, well. Lola was most definitely an interesting one. Her stated desire was one that can be heard from either humanitarians or from revolutionaries. Worst case scenario would be anarchist or psychopaths. She didn't seem like the later...but there was a reason this was the desire which grew in her heart. It made him curious of her past but he knew asking about that was a little too much for a first date. For now he'd rather focus on the Lola that was here and now anyway.

Having seen her own little smile, Jeremiah was actually glad that for the first time during this date Lola smiled genuinely out of enjoyment. Lola may have showed a curled lip, for a smirk and hiddely small smile, but this time she didn't seem to try to hide her grin or restrain it. It looked like she was ready to get into this which seemed awesome; His eyes capturing that smile of her as another still photo. "I'm glad you found your inspiration."

With his paper divided into fourths by the pencil mark divider he had made Jeremiah began work on the first squire; An odd stroke of only lines for now which he quickly etch with a very fast moving hand; some lines being made thicker than others and some being drawn bolder in color than the rest. can't wait to see what you'll make. But since you told me a little about yourself it's only right you know something about me, right?"

What lines finally drawn Jeremiah moved his hand to make half circles and lightly shade them to create the appearance of shoulders being covered by the many lines he was making first. "So, what will you ask of me?" It was rather curious about where Lola's curiosity would drive her, and though he could try getting to know her all day long he wanted to give his date a chance to want to get to know him.
