Zeus may change the properties of his Lightning Spear while it is active by activating this technique. This causes the explosion of lightning that occurs when the spear collides with something without being destroyed to be replaced with a piercing effect that causes the spear to pass through and annihilate anything not enhanced with chakra/a technique or that is non-living.

This can not be used in conjunction with other Ancient Raiton Augments.

Ancient Raiton: Multi-Spear | Rank B-S+ | Raiton Ninjutsu Keystone: Augment | Spiritual
Zeus may change the properties of his Lightning Spear while it is active by activating this technique. This technique must be used at the same rank the Lightning Spear is used. This causes the spear to no longer treat bukijutsu used with it as if they were spiritual. When the spear collides with jutsu that would destroy it instead the layer is destroyed and the spear within falls. This does not make the jutsu stronger in collisions.

This can not be used in conjunction with other Ancient Raiton Augments.

Ancient Raiton: Exploding Spear | Rank S+ | Raiton Ninjutsu Keystone: Augment | Spiritual
This technique can only be used while the spear is within the same topic as Zeus. Zeus causes the chakra in the spear to overload and explode with a large 200 Foot AOE blast of electricity. The spear is destroyed in the process.

Note: Also if you don't mind, could I have a bit more of an explanation of why I have to change Val's keystone to only affect sensory jutsu or make it's range only to topic? I wasn't given much of an explanation, so I don't really understand the reasoning.

Customs that needed to be fixed. Wording has been changed to clarify limitations, and the Spider Venom Technique is now just a normal ninjutsu rather than a genjutsu.

Alex's Keystone Technique, Blades of Shifting Sand, and the Stolen Essence technique have both been redacted to further revamp them so they fit within the Guild's rules.

While Kigai's One Thousand Healing Swords Technique is active, the natural healing effect of the aura can be shifted to break down the natural chakra from the environment and pass it to allies within range of the Keystone Technique. This works similar to a Sage's ability to accumulate nature chakra, but metabolizes it into standard chakra for non-Sage use. This boost in chakra provides fifty [50] additional chakra to all allies affected by the One Thousand Healing Swords Technique starting at Rank D. This chakra boost is increased by ten [10] for every rank above D that it is used, up to one hundred [100] chakra at Rank S. This chakra boost replaces the adrenaline caused by the healing effect of the original Keystone technique.

When Alex infects a target with his blood, iron sand also becomes administered into the target's bloodstream. This allows Alex to magnetize a target without direct contact. Magnet Release Technique is used with an additional cost of half the activation cost, per rank, to magnetize the target's blood. This requires a separate activation for the Magnet Release and any techniques used afterward that take advantage of the magnetism. The target can expend an amount of chakra or stamina equal to the activation cost to release themselves from the magnetism. If they are successful, the iron sand in their blood becomes inert. The target must be reinfected with more blood, and another activation spent afterward, in order for the magnetism to become active again.

Web of Shadows [ Kage no Kumonosu ] | Rank X | Bloodline [Nara] | Spiritual
The user lays an intricate web made of shadows out around them in all directions. This is used to attempt to trap a target in a Nara bloodline jutsu as well as prevent opponents from getting close without being cautious of their footing. The target must spend an activation to evade the shadow web whenever they move around it or risk stepping on one of the shadowy lines. Only one defensive activation is needed to avoid the web. As an extension of the user's shadow, the spiders used in the Crawling Shadow Spider's Keystone do not activate a cost to move along the webbing.

Shadow Release: Cocoon Imitation [ Kageton: Mayumozo ] | Rank C | Bloodline [Nara] | Spiritual
The user wraps themselves in a cocoon made of shadows. This appears to be a defensive technique but is actually used in tandem with the Crawling Shadow Spiders Keystone Technique. It is used to bait enemies into attacking. When a target comes into contact with the cocoon, they are immediately infested with Crawling Shadow Spiders. This infestation costs an automatic activation of the Keystone Technique on the user's next post.

Shadow Imitation: Technique Thief [ Kage Moho: Gijutsu Dorobo ] | Rank X | Bloodline [Nara] | Spiritual
This technique allows the user to "steal" a technique that has been used against the chakra with their shadow. This technique is activated in two parts. The first part is when the technique the user wishes to mimic is used against them. A cost of chakra is spent equal to the rank of the offending technique to "seal" the chakra into their shadow. In their next post, another activation is used to "release" the chakra and mimic the technique that was used. This mimicked technique is treated as one rank lower than the original. The cost to mimic the technique is the same as the original technique's cost. This technique cannot be used to mimic genjutsu, S or S+ ranked techniques, any of the elemental aspects of ninjutsu, or any unique effects of other custom jutsu.

Koharu's unique fusion of her twin kekkai-genkai has allowed her to create a pseudo-Kekkai Tota [Giji Kekkai-Tota] jutsu style that focuses on mineral fossilized wood, petrified wood style.

This root jutsu is fired forth in a chakra containing the same color of the user's, once it makes contact with the target, it begins to change the area of impact into Petrified Wood; A fusion of the crystal minerals of her Crystal Release and her Wood Release bloodlines. While it does no physical damage, it's lithifying effects are considered highly dangerous.

Those afflicted by Petrification from Petrified Wood Style jutsu suffer Tenketsu Rot each post Petrified based off of the status effects chart below as a general guideline (Some Root Jutsu from this parent may follow other rules.).
- Petrified Wood Style Jutsu Costs cannot be reduced by any means.

I have a concern on the first technique. Are simple technique able to still block? If so it's fine, if not simple techniques should still be able to block it, even though it's not likely to be able to be that effective due to collision rules as is.

For Ancient Raiton: Multi-Spear, I know your spear is considered spiritual when interacting with other techniques normally. I'm assuming this technique makes it so the bukijutsu techniques are just what they normally are. I.e. A simple technique is still a simple technique. If that's the case then it's passed and so is Ancient Raiton: Exploding Spear.

As for your question, the reasoning behind the decision on Val's technique is because techniques are generally made in mind the normal range increments.

E: 10 feet
D: 20 feet
C: 30 feet
B: 40 feet
A: 50 feet
S: 100 feet
S+: 200 feet

Additionally simple and complex techniques have this range reduced further down to half of that. So with the range increments in mind, we create these techniques with those ranges in mind as a balancing factor. That's why I suggest just to the topic as you can still do a lot within just the topic itself. After thinking about it I'd probably be fine if it was just Ranged Buki and Sensory. The custom items would have to be approved on a case by case basis which is why I'm denying that aspect of it out right.

Looks good to me. I may have you change the chart, but it'll likely be a buff and not a nerf. We're going to discuss this as mods first though.

While this jutsu is active the range of Val's Base Sensory Jutsu and Base Ranged Bukijutsu are increased up to the listed ranged below based on the rank this technique is used at. This does not affect damaging AOE jutsu or abilities. In addition to this, Val becomes slightly more difficult for sensory jutsu to find her, requiring their user to use an additional C-Rank amount of chakra regardless of the rank this technique was used at to affect her while this is active. Lasts 3 Posts before requiring Val to pay it's cost again.

That's understandable, I changed the last effect involving custom item abilities into a different ability that could also fit the theme I'm going for her and made the range increase only affect Base Sensory and Bukijutsu. So it will not affect any custom techniques I may make for her down the line either.

Yes, Simple Techniques that would normally be able to block the thrown spear could still block the thrown spear. That is why it says not enhanced with chakra/a technique get annihilated as opposed to only things not enhanced with chakra. Technically, based on how I sort of view it I guess, a simple technique used by a custom item would stop it completely at well since custom items are typically chakra enhanced and the spear can't annihilate them. But that's like, getting into case by case combat things. lol

And yes, that's what that means for Multi-Spear, when it's used if he's using the spear for Bukijutsu techniques after that then simple techniques are just still simple techniques and what not. Just to amend your questions of the techniques.

Petrified Wood Style: Penitent Snare [ Kodai-no-Kiton: Kokai Wanai] | Rank C | Bloodline Specialist [ Wood-Crystal ]| Cost [ Spiritual]

Koharu uses her Kodai-no-Kiton style chakra by infusing it into the ground, which when triggered with the snake hand-seal, causes it to burst forth from under ground like roots to grab the target's legs and hold them in place [Grapple]. This jutsu can be delayed and triggered in response to a tai/bukujutsu attack for no activation on the following post. - Breaking free from this technique requires the rank of this technique atop the grappled status. - Being Petrified Wood Style, it confers the status effects of the style according to the chart of the parent jutsu.

I updated the first two of these based on other discussions. The first clarifies how the effect is achieved, and allows for resistance after the first post. The second now clarifies that it can only be used on NPCs and willing RPCs, and also makes some clarifications on the ability of the sealing jutsu.

Two Bodies, Dominant Mind | Rank C [ Augment ] | Bloodline [ Yozen ]
Building on the concept of mind linking from Two Bodies, One Mind, this technique goes a step further and provides Coda the ability to take control of another person’s body. Though similar in function, this technique is not so much mind control as it is mind entrapment. It takes advantage of a placed tattoo to essentially seal a mind off from its body, and take control. Application of the effect must pay the higher cost between the body rank of the target, and the body rank of the person taking control. Though this technique may be resisted, that does not mean it can be ended as one typically might Kai a genjutsu - although the Kai technique can be used as a stand in for the act of resisting. If captured by this technique, Coda receives one posting round of uninterrupted control, after which the technique’s 4 post duration kicks in. Over the course of the remaining posts, the target may resist this jutsu at the cost of half of the controlling consciousness’ body rank at no activation cost, freeing them for that post. Resisting this technique does not end it, as its source is the Seal of O’Inari. As a derivative of Two Bodies, One Mind, control over the body can be transferred to any other consciousness that is directly tied to Coda at the time of its use, or any consciousness that is in turn tied to them.

Once applied, this technique functions similarly to a shadow clone with a handful of exceptions. Any physical bloodline traits of the person this technique is used on remain, including dojutsu and innate elemental manipulations like Jiton; however, no techniques - for example Gentle Fist or Iron Sand Coffin - can be used unless the consciousness tied to the body also knows them. If the controlled party is a shinobi with statistics defined by guild systems, then the body retains its original values independent of the transplanted party. If the body used is in some way generically generated, such as a low level mission NPC, then they gain half of the implanted consciousness’ typical resources and one tier lower in stats (or fallback to Coda’s if the implanted consciousness does not have a type of stat defined); these types of NPCs may not resist this jutsu. This technique may also be used on animals, beasts, and yokai. Removal of the Seal of O’Inari will end this as it would any other technique connected to the seal.

Vessel of O’Inari | Rank S+ | Bloodline [ Yozen ] | Spiritual
Vessel of O’Inari allows Coda to seal living creatures and people via contract with the god O’Inari. Instead of sending them to a typical sealing location, such as a warehouse, this jutsu deposits its target into a pocket of O’Inari’s celestial domain. Followers of O’Inari and those that are not shinobi will find this experience, at worst, somewhat boring - depending on how O’Inari manifests to them. Shinobi will find the journey trying and long, with trials handed down specifically for them. Either way, those in the process of dying will find it suspended, though they may spend their entire time unconscious if the injury is severe, and normal earthly needs will cease to be a concern for any who are sealed.

Practically, this jutsu is more than just a potentially harrowing trip to the celestial realm. First, it may only be used willing RPCs, and NPCs. This jutsu also has special ties to Coda’s technique Two Bodies, Dominant Mind and works on all the same targets as long as they meet the requirements for casting this jutsu. In addition to being a slightly more advanced form of basic sealing jutsu, Vessel of O’Inari causes those sealed to become subjugated vessels of the god. When summoned to the field of battle these individuals may be put under the effects of Two Bodies, Dominant Mind in perpetuity. Releasing the original tattoo seal will cause both the effects of subjugation and Two Bodies, Dominant Mind to end immediately. Coda may use this technique in addition to another placed seal to transport herself into and out of the pocket of O’Inari’s domain, though only out of combat, as the process requires intense focus, and never into the larger celestial domain.

Senbon Javelin | Rank C - A | Bukijutsu | Complex
Preferring the portability and accuracy of senbon, but unhappy with their lack of stopping power, Coda created this technique to turn the tiny ninja tools into full-sized throwing spears should the need arise. Holding the needle she intends to attack with like one would a javelin, Coda applies chakra to create a roughly 3ft (1m) long, 2in diameter tapered spike of chakra, which she then launches at her opponent. This technique has the nifty feature of the senbon continuing after the chakra finds its mark, allowing the projectile to pierce a target or defense and hit something behind it, provided this technique is used at a rank capable of defeating the techniques or armor it encounters along the way.

Blades of Shifting Sand [ Kieru Suna Ken ] | Rank (Paired Bukijutsu) | Bukijutsu / Bloodline (Jiton / Ketsueki) [Keystone] | Complex
Drawing from his training in dual-wielding, in addition to the precision of manipulating the fluid-like elements of blood and sand, Alex forms several blades from his blood sand in rapid succession to strike his target multiple times with a single Bukijutsu technique. This technique allows Alex to perform three [3] basic attacks -- built into a normal Bukijutsu technique -- upon a Rank D activation, and add two [2] more attacks for each additional rank used. These attacks are able to be split between multiple targets in any number, or all directed at a single target. If an opponent that is targeted multiple times is able to successfully block or avoid the first attack, the rest of the attacks done against them are successfully blocked or avoided as well. If the technique is successful, then the target is immediately infected with Alex's blood sand. Furthermore, if the bukijutsu technique has any additional effects, such as magnetism or an elemental status, only the first target is affected by the status. Status effects will affect the target at one tier higher if hit multiple times.

Stolen Essence [ Nusuma Reta Essensu ] | Rank (Paired Technique) | Bukijutsu | Complex | Supplementary
Whenever Alex lands a successful attack on a target, he can absorb stamina from them by draining blood from their wound. If the original attack was successful, the target loses stamina equal to the amount spent by Alex. If the target successfully dodges the original attack, this technique does not affect them and Alex loses the resource cost for both techniques. This technique can only be used with an original technique that causes Alex to physically touch the target with either hand or weapon. For example, a Raiton technique that hits at a range cannot be used to drain stamina.

Heaven sharks loving sanctuary | Rank S | Bloodline/performer [ Water ]| Cost [ Spiritual]
While singing or doing some other type of performance(Meaning this jutsu can only be cast if she is performing) multiple sharks of water that proceed to circle around the user and allies in a 30 ft radius. These sharks ward of attacks while raining a soothing and light spray of water upon allies, replenishing 50 chakra a round to allies(not herself) within the sphere of affect until the technique ends and drains the same amount from enemies making contact with this barrier, lasts 5 posts, only one cast of this jutsu replenishes people’s resources.(I feel the fact that it can only be cast when performing and that the chakra regen is only from one casting should cover as a minor detriment.

Coating her body in in a layer of water that increases in quantity and stretches in the direction she wishes to go, this water being able to be sent upward or in any other direction that she might wish and can essentially fly by swimming in the air. She functions as under water during this technique and passively avoid techniques in the same manner as Solo flight. Lasts 5 - 8 rounds, costs an upkeep two ranks below casting.

A song/verbal explanation about the excellent of food, during this any food items will boost any affects from foods/poisons by double, including herself. Opponents hearing this song will find their stomachs churning, rumbling and begging for food as if they hadn’t eaten in three days but without pain. During this the victims will find it nearly impossible to make themselves resist ingesting any potential food presented to them, with no regard to the risk or who offers it. Requires a Kai disable the starvation affect.

Augmented the outside over her body and weapon with a thin layer of grinding/Absorbing chakra. This layer of chakra grinds through other chakra based techniques and absorbs 50% of the cost of nin-jutsu she defeats in collisions when using a Buki/tai and returns it to herself(This is rounded down to multiplications of 5.) instead granting absorbing half the amount of the rank of damage(meaning damage inflicted after stats like endurance and abilities that lower the rank of damage received) inflicted by Buki/tai-jutsu in chakra from the foe and returning it in a complex form instead(in the case of only absorbing 5 then the resource goings to one or the other.) as the opponents blood is essentially absorbed and consumed as part of this techniques effects. lasts 5 posts with a B-rank upkeep.

(Under the impression the physically weakest character's have 4 endurance, the most a non endurance ignoring simple attack can drain is 40 and for complex it would be 80 IF it succeeds. So including its own and other technique costs used in conjunction with it, I think it ain’t too much? I’ll wait for your judgments tho as I want this to be a reasonable jutsu.)

Underwater wonder singing | Rank X | performer/Bloodline []| Cost [ Spiritual ]
A jutsu that requires her to be performing to utilize, this song is a blessing within water and a bane outside. When singing underwater her voice is unnatural a beautiful like the most talented of mermaids, all allies are defend from mental status affects up to its casting tier and find their stats unable to be lowered. Above water it inflicts tiered Insanity and is extremely unpleasant, unnerving and painful as this jutsu functions akin is something like a mermaid singing. The buff lasts 1 post after she ends this technique or the post after she switches from water to land. Lasts 3 posts + 1 each rank, is considered part of a performance. opponents may free themselves through Kai of equal rank to this technique.

Nomnom, let's eat song I just want to mention that the more people this affects, the easier the kai will be for the opponents as it's an AOE affect. So if there's ten people getting the affect, opponents are only going to have to kai at E rank. You don't need to change anything, but figured I'd mention it as it's the case with a few of your other customs here.

Nummy chakra, Nummy blood we really do not like dealing with percentages, especially in techniques. It'd be easier to state that this technique absorbs the full cost of the technique if it wins in the collision and returns it to Eirene as the same complex rank.

I.E. If you win against an A rank attack, you get 40 chakra and 40 stamina.

I think following the complex chart on this [x] page will make this technique feel less complicated over all.

Underwater Wonder Singing is a bit too much. It's practically 4 abilities rolled up into one technique.
- Protection from Mental Stress
- Protection from Insanity
- Protection from stat lowering
- Tiered insanity to those above water

The protection from stat lowering is something we can't approve though. It's built into other mechanics that we would rather not draw away from. The other three are fine really if you add a drawback. Additionally as mentioned before because this is an AOE effect, the opponents wouldn't have to kai at the rank of the technique because it's spread out across multiple people, including your allies.

Other than that, everything else is approved.

Can gain up to its casting value on any given post and no more in reasources.

(Notes: I can do that. The secondary part of damaging opponents and resource gain is fine as well, being as you didn’t mention it? That part I can remove if it’s considered a little much. This was the jutsu I was most leery on and I won’t be adding any others involving drain from C/C and if I do I’ll be specifically mentioning they don’t stack with this.)

Underwater wonder singing | Rank X | performer/Bloodline []| Cost [ Spiritual ]
A jutsu that requires her to be performing to utilize, this song is a blessing within water and a bane outside. When singing underwater her voice is unnatural a beautiful like the most talented of mermaids, all allies are defend from mental status affects up to its casting tier. Above water it inflicts tiered Insanity and is extremely unpleasant, unnerving and painful as this jutsu functions akin is something like a mermaid singing. The buff lasts 1 post after she ends this technique or the post after she switches from water to land as it really can’t provide the buff when you hear that squalor. Lasts 3 posts + 1 each rank, is considered part of a performance. opponents may free themselves through Kai of equal rank to this technique. Looses a rank below casting cost to a minimum of 5 in stamina each round she since about land like this cause it’s bad on the special vocal cords used for this, prolonged surface usage can be very damaging.

(Yeah I totally was thinking stat debuffs as in jutsu that inflict stat reductions, I realize by my wording that’d extend to actual status affects and that’s not what I wanted.

This and the other jutsu are literal performance jutsu, so I made these with it in mind the Kai can be split, most of the de-buffs provided are minor as they are more about helping allies and still the opponents still have to use Kai to deal with the afflictions. The nummy song while throwing poisoned candy at you foes XD!)

Shark Tail | Rank B | Bloodline [ N/A ]| Passive [ Complex ]
Eirene pretty obviously has a tail with fins protruding from around the base of the small of her back. This tail makes he able to swim multitudes faster than even members of her own clan, able to casually reach near Shushin speeds while underwater. While underwater she may pay the cost of this technique to use her tail to is fullest extent, counting the opponents agility as 2 lower when interacting with her Buki/tai if they are under/on top of a water source that she occupies. Secondarily she may use a dodge as a supplemental action while under water with a [3] post cool down so long as this technique is paid for in that round. This ability funcrions with Sky swimming as the user is technically underwater but being as this technique capitalizing both on her immense ability under water as well as the opponent being at an environmental disadvantage, the dodge action function may only be performed when actually under water.

Sudden shark attack| Rank A | Fuuin/bloodline [ n/a ]| Cost [ Spiritual]
Eirene has special contract seals on her wrists that were granted to her at a young age by her father. These seals are tied to brutal, loyal sharks to her father and by extension her, which allows her to call on their assistance on a moments notice. Using any water within sight or from her wrist directly she can suddenly summon one of these large sharks which come ripping up from the water or toward the target mouth first, easily big enough to grab any person by their chests in its maw and bite into them and do savage damage(so long as said person hasn’t made themselves huge.). This is treated as an A-rank complex technique with a strength of [8] and Eirenes current speed, counting the victim as grappled after successfully striking with its terrible maw, automatically drawing an A-rank complex cost each round from Eirene to chew the opponent for a supplemental action(requires opponent spend appropriate stamina to break free.). Should the shark miss or victim be release then it immediately disperses, you could say that it is basically shot like a cannon at the opponent and should it miss then the shark just goes away, this jutsu able to launch the sharks up to an effective range of 50ft. This isn’t a true summon, the shark can only withstand its rank in damage before being dispersed and does not count against summon limit. The only requirement to keep using it is that she declare a different name than sharks forcibly dispersed next use, though sometimes she just tends to yell “Sharkzooka!!!!” when using this jutsu. A Rhino is a little too big for this jutsu to function properly as the shark can’t properly grab a hold, in cases like this where this is shot at a summon or super big person or object that has the ability to be grappled… they will NOT be grappled by this and the shark vanishes after biting/hammering into them.

Ancient water derivative: Deep Crushing Prison | Rank B - S+ | Bloodline [Water]| Cost [ Spiritual ]
Usable only on opponents underwater this jutsu is a derivative of one of her father Poseidon’s jutsu, albeit slightly less dangerous. Using fine water control and understanding of the deep, Eirene will force a body of water surrounding a person exert immense amounts of water pressure that pin the victim in place, the water surrounding the targeted area pulling toward its center point. The crushing force of the water inflicts tiered trauma and requires any captured foes to pay a ranked equivalent in chakra to escape. The area affected is marked by the water being slightly darkened in comparison to its surroundings, affecting a 20ft diameter at B rank and increasing by 10ft per rank. Cost 2 ranks beneath casting to maintain. Those whom are actually captured by this technique suffer mostly internal injuries, making it visually hard to tell how badly harmed the actually are.

Changing this jutsu for Arashikara to X Rank. Literally the only change is the rank, since the way Shadow Possession is worded works no matter the rank

No matter how it is used, the effect remains the same, if the target's shadow comes into contact with the Possession Technique they are immediately considered possessed and unable to take any action aside from mimicking the Nara. Even small things such as talking or eye movements are kept under lock and key until the jutsu ends. Breaking this effect requires the user to pay stamina equal to one rank higher than this technique, and only after the target has been trapped for a full post. If used on the target more than two times in a fight, then the one post waiting period is negated and only the same rank stamina is needed to break free. Additionally, this shadow being manipulated is considered to be intangible when interacting with normal attack collisions. Barriers are excluded from this.

Petrified Wood Style : Fossil Coffin [ Kodai-no-Kiton: Kaseki-Kan ] | Rank X | Bloodline [ Petrified Wood ]|[ Spiritual ]
Koharu can cause her lithified wood chakra element to slither up from the ground onto her target. The chakra continues to move and envelope them slowly. As the stony wood encases the target, it begins to replace the organic material in the target's body with minerals, capable of rapid fossilization. If the wielder takes two posts to set up the technique for one combat action each then the chakra can encase the whole body and deal [1] tier higher of full-body petrification based on rank. The other method is the faster but less effective option of using one post to grip only a single limb and apply petrification of equivalent tier to the rank of the coffin. The Fossil Coffin is also considered a chakra-based grapple rather than the standard stamina-based grapple and thus requires an equivalent rank of chakra to be spent by the target once gripped or encased to break out.
Note: As a Petrified Wood Jutsu it applies Tenketsu Rot based on Rank [According to Petrified Wood Manipulation's Chart]. It's Cost cannot be Reduced by any means. - If the target is grappled by Penitent Snare or another Petrified Wood Jutsu the post prior to this jutsu, it is considered the first post in the two post set up for this technique.
