Puppet Name: Ningyōzukai

Inventory Information: [ Small ]
Puppet Appearance: The Ningyōtsukai, or puppeteers, is a lower grade puppet that honors the bunraku puppeteers who are dressed in all black attire. This puppet works well in dark places and in numbers. Like SADAYO, another puppet belonging to Sadayo Soga, they are very well articulated and have incredibly hidden, quiet joints. The Ningyōtsukai has no face hidden under its black hood.
Puppet Description: Ningyōtsukai is a couple steps up from being a “basic puppet” at 5” feet tall and equipped with whatever can be sent its way or picked up and made into a weapon. Formless and tools are this puppet’s forte. This basic puppet is to distract close range fighters who get too close to the false puppeteer. It's made of a fairly sturdy wood but nothing alike a flimsy wood like balsa. The joints have been given the same treatment as Sadayo's double: well lubricated and fixed to be quiet in movement.

Wire Launcher and Reel

Mechanism Description: Wires. A set of four; one per limb. [30] foot length launch from the puppet to attempt to wrap on their target. Wires are made of a metallic substance and excellent for transporting flammable liquids, dripping liquids, and sliding small objects with a crack of the wire.

Puppet Name: Yūutsu 憂鬱
Puppet Tier: 3

Puppet Appearance: Yūutsu is made up of a human-like head with exaggerated features with downturned eyes, a small cylindrical nose, and a large toothy frown with round pads on its cheeks.. To be specific, this puppet is pale in color, with thick black hair, white mournful eyes, two long arms, a torso piece with apparent blades in front of its body, and a cone-shaped hip piece in the place of legs in order to reduce weight. In terms of dimensions, Yūutsu is 45 inches tall (3 feet, 9 inches) and about 30 inches wide (2 feet, 5 inches). In reference to a familiar cannon puppet, Yūutsu is smaller than Kankuro’s Karasu to permit room for swift movement. The puppet is also clothed in dark cloth that is divided in sections but overall hides the puppet’s body (arms, hip, a couple of the torso blades.The characters "憂鬱" stitched on the collar under its neck. The puppet additionally features a drill-like feature, separate from the torso piece that may freely spin without rotating the rest of the puppet. The drill includes a retractable set of [5] thirty inch blades that would extend outward and no cost would be required to open these blades, however.

Puppet Description: This weapon is designed Sadayo’s opponents at a short to mid-range distance during combat. Yūutsu is made from white oak wood with iron pieces and patching for some degree of protection and to allow electrical currents to flow with certain attacks (this feature would typically not permit an extra, electrical attack to occur but just alter what is happening through an activation- unless otherwise stated). It’s hands are capable of grabbing and its functioning fingers for pinning into wood and soft materials with thick, four inch metal sharp (flat-ish sharp pokey things ) in place of typical finger tips. The top of the hands are iron plated. Yūutsu's shoulders are roughly the size of large cantaloupes and essential for storage of the 45 feet-worth of cables in its arms. A worn dark cloth may cover the puppet when inactive and the blades are against the puppet’s body. When the blades are active the dark cloth flows between the blade’s set-up. The puppet’s mouth functions as a vise grip with gritted surfaces and a 10-inch retractable blade built in behind the jaw. Head may be removed.

This device is Yūutsu’s mouth and it’s pure mechanical ability to crush, grind, and maim with a vise grip feature. Attempting to lock onto an item requires [1] activation and successful attempts. Getting out of this bind requires [1] rank(s) above Sadayo’s initial cost. A fuuin inscribed on the interior of Yūutsu’s head responds to the flow of chakra and shuts off forgien chakra activity from bursting her jaw to bits.
Rank reflects speed and strength of capture and crush. This device is metallic in nature.

The circular pads on Yūutsu’s cheeks turn either in a rapid race to snare her victim or at a slow, gradual pace onto the unsuspecting target. Her mouth could begin to crush, bend, or inflict a combination of damage to someone’s unlucky body part or favorite weapon. Yūutsu’s teeth are thick, heavy metal pieces that mesh together with ease. A cheese grater-like chewing surface awaits its victims behind her jagged frown.

This device is Yūutsu’s arms and hands. Thick copper cables stretch between this puppets’s forearms, hands and store up within its shoulders. Cables have a maximum reach of [45] feet.
The fingers have a fuuin inscribed where anyone latched onto must additional [10] stamina to perform hand signs. Reflex temporarily reduced by [2] per post grappled into with a duration of [3] posts before all statuses inflicted by this mechanism are restored.


Puppet Name: Hohoemi | ほほえみ
Puppet Tier: 3

Puppet Appearance:
Hohoemi is 5’8 in height with short, fluffy white hair and a cynical laughing expression carved into its face. A pair of whitish, tilted crescent-shaped eyes have embedded streaks to mock a tear-stained face which span from the eyes to the corners of its mouth where two orange knobs are fixed at the sides of the mouth. This puppet also has a button-like earring at the side of its hair, it serves no mechanical function aside from being a hidden compartment to hide small scrolls.

Hohoemi’s frame is widely White Oak wood, with iron plated arms, legs, and the color of a traditional battle puppet. It is dressed in bright warm colors: Yellow cowl-poncho, featuring a high collar with orange lining with an overall, slightly worn look to it. Under the neck, below the lining, the puppet’s name is stitched “Hohoemi” as “ほほえみ”. The rest of the puppet is a darker shade of yellow and orange. Its colors function as a means to distract and hold the attention of opponents. The puppets arms feature a pair of heavy, solid metal barrels (5 inches in width by 9 inches in length and 40lbs each) from the puppet’s wrists scaling up along its forearm. Its arms and legs are fully functioning in terms of articulation. The top of the puppet’s hands (are humanoid) are also plated with a thin layer of metal. The inside are suited for gripping the handles of weapons and also feature metal plating. Its abdomen features a transparent, orange tinted acrylic glass plate to resemble a simple laughing expression which disguises the location where chakra natured attacked would come from.
Puppet Description:

In Hohoemi’s back is an unconventional bladed weapon connected to him by a cable on its pommel. Payment to eject the sword from its body only requires being connected to the puppet. However, E-rank payment is required to alter the weapon’s appearance. This device heavily relies on Formless for determining strength. The blade is custom in design. Base form: (55’’inches total, blade length 45” inches) Paying [5] chakra after initial release, the sword may extend into [9] nine segments. Each segment is 5 inches in length with exposed [8] inch chakra steel cable divisions between each segment running its length (blade length [9] feet long).

Mechanism's Description: This mechanism activates nodes, disguised as bolts, along the weapon to stop and absorb some of the energy behind a singular incoming ninjutsu attack up to S-rank quality and cut through it. Up to {B} Rank chakra is absorbed per activation and transferred to Sadayo’s chakra pool. [3 Post Cooldown]
• Versus E-C Ninjutsu; this mechanism is typically able to just completely cancel out lower spiritual ranked techniques and not absorb anything.
• Only when versus ranks B-S+ will the device collect up to {B} Rank chakra and transferred to Sadayo’s chakra pool. [3 Post Cooldown.
Hohoemi’s weapon is an offensive tool however the incorporated mechanism is a defensive device.

Laughing Gas
Mechanism's Rank: B -S
Mechanism's Description: An rotating mechanical device that creates an AOE widespread gaseous “toxin” that is quick, light and white. When dispersed it typically acts quickly with a 30ft cubic range. As it is inhaled, the affected feel inclined to just laugh excessively, distract and seemingly null any pain the victim may be feeling. Consequently, the affected also loses some points in [speed] depending on rank. This mechanism’s Direct Rank [Speed] reduction effect can stack with any actual toxins that affect the same Direct Rank [Speed]. The cloud naturally dissipates after [1] post but the effects are generally immediate. Duration of the DR reduction affects vary with rank and will return to normal after the gas has expired.

    Burning Boost Cannons
    Mechanism's Rank:B-S
    Mechanism's Description: This mechanisms turns Hohoemi into an energetic large projectile with an electrically charged full coat and hydraulics to give this puppet a powered spring in its step launching them in a single direction at a supremely increased speed. The energized coat about the puppet’s form is capable of searing and tearing into just about anything it might come in contact with. Attacks of equal rank are deflected. Higher ranking attacks and defenses will overwhelm this mechanism's functions entirely. If used more than once every two posts, the mechanism will break and require repairs.
    Applies T3[b-a] or T4 Burning/Burned status in its wake based.

  • Puppet Name: Gishin 疑心
    Puppet Tier: 2

    Puppet Appearance: Gishin is a 6(ft)6(inch) tall / 3(ft) wide humanoid puppet dressed in long, white attire and accessories that includes long sleeves, a wide belt fastened over the shoulders, a vent at the neck, and a mask. The puppet’s frame is made of [material] painted white and finished with a head of pale blue hair which purposefully frames its face and falls over its eyes. Its face and name tie together (doubt; suspicion, fear, apprehension). Gishin is a fairly sophisticated puppet compared to the rest of Sadayo’s puppets for its ability to easily change its facial expression: one expression is calm with its dainty eyes closed in contrast to the second, fearful crying expression revealed when its mask and eyes are opened. The mask hides a concave open mouth and chin that together forms a wild expression when Gishin’s bright eyes are open. Atop Gishin’s head is a heavy metal dome (24 inches wide, 18 inches tall. Roughly 55 lbs. ) as the top of the puppet’s head is flat and serves as a seat for the club the dome turns into. The puppet sports detachable limbs, hands, and head. When the head is detached, however, the air compressor canister is unable to function. The puppet has slightly larger hands than her humanoid counterparts.

    Gishin's frame is made of [material] painted white and sports long pale blue hair, at the head, which typically covers much of the face. The face is a key feature that ties to Gishin's name and designed to create two expressions: One expression is purposefully cosmetic: eyes closed, long faux eyelashes, calm, and a oval-shaped thin nose piece. The rest of Gishin's face is otherwise obscured behind a split, metal mask over its mouth and chin closed. Characters along the split of the mask spell out the puppet's name. Gishin's second expression is functional: the metal mask opens to reveal a concave mouth "area". The mouthpiece is open and the head of a special air canister will become visible. Moreover, the addition of the fearful expression includes its eyes open wide; white irises and blue sclera for the illusion of terror. The side of the dolls head (about where its temples would be) are a pair of six-inch metal fixtures which act as small lighting rods to spread electricity along the puppet’s form. On top, a solid metal dome piece (24 inches wide, 18 inches tall. and thirty pounds even) fixed on the puppet’s head.
    Gishin’s legs, hands, arms, and head are detachable. When the head is detached, however, the air compressor canister is unable to function until reattached. The puppet has slightly larger hands than her humanoid counterparts.
    Her legs are essentially thick, metal cylinders which are divided up into two pieces, both 12 inches in diameter and held by a few chain links. The lower pair of leg cylinders are a set of weapon launchers Free to sway with movement and efficient for bashing or conducting electricity if necessary. The puppet lacks feet.
    A hidden compartment is present in both upper arm sections and may hold up to one scroll.

    A sturdy metal dome on top Gishin’s head is a club connected by a retractable chain with a maximum range of [10] feet. This device may have other small items attached to it like paper and smoke bombs. A broken physical chain may be replaced with a connection of chakra from puppet to weapon (debuff only achievable through puppet). A firm wholloping with this metal dome will temporarily remove a count of [Fortitude] from the target’s status corresponding to the rank of power. Temporary stat negation stacks up to [-12] points with a [6 post duration] before Gishin’s debuffs reverse.

    Air Compressor Canon:

    Activation required to fill. Cost required to launch.

    This device is present within Gishin’s reinforced chest cavity. An air canister that uses chakra to collect and expel from her mouth to release either a [poison, contaminants, gaseous substances, or expel a specific status.]
    Gaseous poisons already present in the air may be collected with this device. Kaifu-Funyu seals are present on this puppet. A control valve is switched one way or the other to either collect or fire. If nothing other than air is collected than Vertigo temporarily affects victims in the face of a forceful knock-back for [3] posts. If something other than air is collected, no “knock-back” effect is present.
    When a specific contaminant is spent then it must be recollected to use again if not found in Sadayo’s inventory.

    Mechanism Description:
    Detached hands and threads require upkeep [5 Chakra] every [5] posts.
    Detached hands require additional chakra to execute basic attacks.
    Pygmy Diamonds requires [1] activation.
    tab [+10 Chakra] spent through the Gishin Puppet is necessary.

    This mechanism allows Gishin to weave string games from special chakra nodes in her hands. Strings cannot pass through solid matter and have no ability to connect to other puppets. Her strings possess razor sharp edges and emit a subtle blue glow. These strings may form a pair of scissors, weave a net for catching, and create a single portal fuuin.
    The primary role of the strings: Pygmy Diamonds -
    A fuuin in Gishin's hands designed to collect incoming offensive techniques and redirect them from another participating puppet and a different location back into the world. Sadayo is required to pay an equal amount of the incoming technique to capture with an additional [+10] chakra upon said cost.
    Catch Only: Gishin may catch nearly anything up to A-rank. She cannot catch and keep living, breathing entities in her fuuin but she can redirect them through another puppet.

    Basic "string games" that might be used:
    - Scissor Trap :Offensive :: Reference - The wire is stretched and wrapped to mock a pair of scissors with freely open blades between the puppet's hands. By manipulating the puppet's fingers the opens and closes the sizable string scissor.
    -Hammock : Offensive - Capture :: Reference - This weaving is generally useful for catching incoming solid objects and people.
    - Upbeat Drum; Capture ::Reference - Hands weave the drum around something enough to seemingly confine an object.


  • Puppet Name: Nirami 睨み
    Puppet Tier: 3

    Puppet Appearance: This newer rendition of Nirami stands at a towering 7-feet, 2-inch tall angry, humanoid behemoth boasting the likeness of an armor-clad samurai (without a complete helmet). Nirami’s body is composed of iron and [Indian] rosewood and painted up in deep reds, and stark orange on its armor against steely grey iron. Purple and gold flake accents sparingly throughout the puppet. Some of this puppet’s armor are built into its framework ( bulky cuirass, thick tasset-like armor attachments at the belt, greaves, elongated shoulder armor, and heavy sleeve and hand guards) while others are simply garments that may be removed as needed (a heavy thigh guard, and other armor, attachments at the waist and legs).
    tab Nirami’s orange-y-red face and head have changed slightly since his last debut. A menacing, angry growling expression is still true to his name with white eyes, bushy, groomed purple faux eyebrows, and functioning metal “teeth” ( thin jagged metal pieces which mesh together. The mouth and jaw cannot move). A faux purple haired topknot fixed on the top of the puppet’s head is the centerpiece for other accenting head-ware fit for a samurai (a fanned out nape guard, triangular crest attached to its forehead). Nirami’s horns still remain on the forehead.

    Puppet Description: The perpetually angry samurai puppet is of large frame, significantly heavy, and able to take a fair beating as a close quarter combat “last line of defense” puppet.
    His design shows he is able to carry a large odachi and a hefty iron kanabo as other pieces through the puppet suggest he’s capable of doing a little more than just swinging a sword. It isn’t unheard of for Nirami to serve as a capture puppet. Despite its hefty size, Nirami can move about as swift as Sadayo’s other puppets.

    Capture Cabinet.:
    Mechanism's Rank: B-S
    Mechanism's Description:
    Nirami’s torso features capture cabinet mechanism. A vertical crevice between the two doors which would allow him to mimic the act of “seppuku” on himself (and on his captured victims). A [15] foot cable based inside the torso features a claw to grab close-range up to two enemies. Forcing the cabinet open from the outside or inside requires [1] rank above what was paid to capture Nirami’s targets. A captured target is generally safe from external impacts and the elements while on the inside.
    Prolonged presence inside the cabinet [3 posts] can impose a tier of Suffocation [Tier 3].


    Bursting Wall :
    Mechanism's Rank [B-S]
    Mechanism's Description:Ranked electrical burst in first post. Duration [2] posts, Upkeep [10 Chakra] upon every [3] posts

    This device clicks on in one swoop. Upon activation a single large, ranked burst of electrical energy jolts from key points on the puppet’s body before emitting an electrical net [5 feet reach, flows with the puppet’s movements] is formed about the puppet’s body in eight key locations: [1] head, [2] hands, [1]waist, and [2]knees, and [2]feet. Upon contact with the succeeding net a target may be exposed to a tiered rank of Paralysis and Burned corresponding with the rank of power applied by Sadayo at initial activation. Paralysis has a [5] post duration after contact is made.

    Additional electrical bursts may not exceed a rank higher than power at initial use {For example: first activation at A-rank, electrical on next post cannot be S-rank}.

    Beefy Block : Vengeance
    Mechanism's Rank: A - S+
    Mechanism's Description: A very beefy defensive mechanism that does the job for the big, bad and beefy beatings. Duration 2 posts. [1] Cooldown. Physical contact with this active mechanism appears to make the puppet deceptively rock and jitter as if falling apart, however this beefy defense mechanism is plainly absorbing the biggest of the baddest punches. Only within the [2] post duration the sheer energy being pent up in this device, from defending, will give an erupting “jolt” of energy reflecting [1] post below the previous strike, to whomever is unfortunate enough to make the next physical strike.

    (For Example: Gishin captures an A-rank fireball with two other puppet in cooperation. This fuuin redirects said fire-ball as a B-rank [+10 chakra] to fire a single strike from 2 locations.
    Tier restriction applies: Goat-puppet cannot exceed maximum rank redirection, therefore, breaking up the redirected technique with multiple puppets can help lower tiers use the mechanism. I.e A Tier I puppet cannot launch an A-rank fireball. )

    Mechanism's Rank: (E-B)
    Mechanism Description: Sharp darts on long, curly coils running from this device launch and jab into a target. When contact is made these darts go right to work and react to chakra coursing through whatever it’s stuck into and draw its energy into its coils and back to the puppet.
    Requires physical contact with the victim and can drain up to B-rank (40) (i.e drain corresponds to rank used at launch) chakra every post the coils are present on the victim. Launching the coils have a [2] post cooldown. The drain will be added to Sadayo’s chakra so long as her puppet is actively connected to her strings at the time the mechanism is used. Alternatively, this device may recharge a single battery present on a puppet before touching Sadayo’s chakra pool.

    So I'm in a bit over my head and I'm not entirely sure I've done any of this right, but this is my first draft at Otawaru's prosthetic arm. I think he might actually need to reach the next crafting title (veteran) before he can personally implement any of the mechanisms listed below, in which case, I'll be waiting until then to actually add all of the bells and whistles.

    Puppet Appearance: A prosthetic arm made to replace Otawaru's missing arm, resembling his remaining arm in shape, size, and color.
    Puppet Description: Designed and crafted by Otawaru himself, Lefty is made from cypress wood, making it sturdy but light enough to not be too much of a burden to carry. It's most basic purpose is to perform all the functions of a normal human arm, which it does perfectly fine (though its movements can sometimes be a bit rigid and jerky). Of course, being the tinkerer that he is, Otawaru has also crammed as many tools and tricks into it as he can, giving it functions for both on and off the battlefield.
    Mechanism Summary:
    Lighter: Located in the thumb, flicking the top half down sparks a small flame from a small retractable metal nozzle that extends from the middle joint.
    Ink Pen: Located in the index finger, the finger detaches from the rest of the hand and can be used for writing purposes.
    Drill: Located in the middle finger, the finger is able to spin at high speeds and the tip can be fitted with various drill heads.
    Needle: Located in the little finger, the tip of the finger contains a retractable 2in. needle with a telescopic design.
    Magnifying Lens: Located in the palm, the lens is normally hidden behind a pair of covers on both side but upon their opening, the lens is revealed.
    Wrist Blade: Located in the forearm, after detaching the hand, a retractable blade can extend out, roughly 6in. in length.
    Smoke Bomb Launcher: Located in the upper arm, the compartment is capable of holding three smoke bombs at a time, which can be launched through an opening in the elbow joint.

    Puppet Appearance: Vogel is what appears to be a fat, stout black owl standing roughly the height of an average man. It's feathers appear to be the genuine article from a distance, but up close it's clear that they are instead magnetized Jiton. Built for flight, only the aerofoil surfaces of the puppet have underlying structure, while the rest of the bird's plumage is hollow; providing a source of Jiton for Sumika while reducing the weight of the puppet.
    Puppet Description: Vogel is designed for mobility and range. While it lacks speed, it has an excellent glide ratio and high weight capacity paired with the ability to turn tightly in the air. While it certainly isn't a slouch in a dive, it's not a puppet designed for that purpose. Its large claws and talons are designed for secure perching, more than damage, and its large beak is purpose built for cracking through defenses. Its feet reach nearly 2.5ft in diameter when fully extended, allowing it the ability to grapple people, puppets, pets, and even medium sized summons.

    Jaws: On Vogel this mechanism is installed in the beak, allowing it to be employed in combination with the puppets large talons.
    Magnet Release: Volley Cannon: This puppet's implementation of this mechanism is currently in the traditional two rows of three cannons, built into the leading edge of Vogel's wings, and sequenced to fire from the inner most cannon to the outer most in order and in unison.

    Mechanism Description: A rather large mechanism, these massive mechanical jaws are meant to be structurally integrated into a puppet. A relatively simple design, they use chakra to bite into the surface and then rip through it. While meant for interfacing with physical defenses, this mechanism is certainly capable of dealing its damage to anything in its way including chakra shields.

    Type of Mechanism: Magnet Release: Volley Canons
    Mechanism's Rank: C-A
    Mechanism Description: The Volley Canons mechanism is generally deployed in two rows of three, all though its canons may be deployed in any arrangement and sequenced to fire in any order - which must also be declared in Vogel's description, an may be changed. Because the magnetic rail guns that make it up, it can only be properly operated by a Magnet Release user. Additionally, as it fires actual, physical projectiles the shots fired by it function differently than a normal jutsu. They do not have a fixed range, instead dropping in power by one rank when exceeding their normal limits when fired from the ground - or twice their normal limits when fired from the air. This process continues for each subsequent rank, until rank E, at which point the projectiles become a free flying projectile that inflict E rank damage in perpetuity. While any munitions payload that fits in the canons may be loaded into them, Sumika's default ammunition for this weapon is a Jiton fragmentation device that can be detonated after firing to deal damage equivalent to the projectiles current functional rank.

    Mechanism Description: In addition to being a source of Jiton, the feathers coating Vogel's exterior can create an armor when infused with chakra. When destroyed, this armor renders the Jiton feathers utilized in it inert for the purposes of jutsu, until the point at which they regenerate. Each rank of this jutsu uses double the amount of jiton as the previous rank, with S+ using all of the puppet's jiton. This armor regenerates passively at an E rank amount per post, but any Magnet Release shinobi may contribute jiton of an equivalent rank to replenish this supply.

    Type of Mechanism: Poison Mist Dispersal Unit
    Mechanism's Rank: C-A
    Mechanism Description: This dispersal unit can be fitted into any puppet, and includes its own reservoir, but its affects will depend upon the method of its installation - which must be defined in the description of this mechanism on the puppet in question. Installation for directed dispersal will channel the loaded poison in a specific direction accurately enough to pass through an opening or strike a single target. Directed dispersal installation has the added benefit of applying its affects on the first post of successful poisoning regardless of whether it is cured the same post, thanks to its increased concentration. Its range is limited to half the range limit of the rank its used at, however. Area dispersal's affect will change depending, again, on what the puppet is designed to do. Puppets designed for ground level dispersion will create a close range cloud of poison with no direction that functions as the poison normally would over the standard range of the rank it is used at. Puppets designed for air dispersion, however, create a much finer mist, covering twice the range of the rank it was used at, but slowing the amount of time it takes for the poison to take affect from casual contact by one post. This wide dispersal, however, has the added effect of causing weapons and jutsu, specifically Suiton and Fuuton, to incorporate the poison by default, speeding the process of poisoning up to normal pace should either successfully connect with another person.

    Type of Mechanism: Elemental Substrate
    Mechanism's Rank: D
    Mechanism Description: This mechanism uses a small amount of Jiton stored on the puppet to create an extremely thin lattice of iron sand just above the surface of the puppet. This lattice is specifically designed to channel energy away from the surface of the puppet, allowing chakra of any nature to be applied to it without harming the puppet underneath. The ingenious structure can withstand up to S rank elemental chakras without deforming or harming the surface beneath. It is, however, fragile. While strikes to it will apply damage and / or an effect depending on the element, even a clash of jutsu above its rank will disrupt its structure and render the entire surface unstable, destroying it and dispersing the chakra bonded to it. Elements attached to this follow the rules of counterbalancing if overwhelmed. The source of chakra from this technique must be the puppeteer controlling the puppet.
    • Katon: Applies Burn status effect of the rank of the elemental affinity on contact, and Dehydration of the rank of the technique within [ 5 ] feet on dispersal, unless dispersed by an element that would counter this effect like Suiton or Hyouton.
    • Suiton: Applies the Drench status effect of the rank of the elemental affinity on contact, and one rank lower to anyone within 10 feet of the puppet upon dispersal.
    • Fuuton: Applies the Vertigo status effect of the rank of the elemental affinity on contact, and creates a shockwave capable of knocking over shinobi of the body rank equivalent to the element within [ 20 ] feet of the puppet when dispersed.
    • Raiton: Applies the Paralysis status effect of the rank of the elemental affinity on contact, and transfers its current to any object or person within [ 10 ] feet of the puppet. If the object in question is a puppet with a chakra battery, this technique's energy is transferred into that puppet with a loss of an additional [ 5 ] chakra per rank above E, provided the puppet has available capacity.
    • Doton: Applies the Trauma status effect of the rank of the elemental affinity on contact.
    • Maruton: Applies a force equivalent to the rank of the elemental affinity on contact.
    • Nature: Applies the Petrification status effect of the rank of the elemental affinity on contact.

    Type of Mechanism: Regenerative Joints
    Mechanism's Rank: E
    Mechanism Description: This simple mechanism returns energy to a puppet's chakra battery when it is in motion, depending on the inventory size of the puppet. Small puppets return [ 5 ] chakra per post, and suffer no reductions or additions to their statistics. Because of their low regeneration rate, these puppets also pay nothing for activating this technique, but may not access the chakra battery while it is active. Medium puppets return [ 10 ] chakra per post, and suffer a reduction of [ 1 ] in both speed and agility. Large puppets return [ 15 ] chakra per post, suffer a reduction of [ 2 ] in speed and agility, but gain an increase of [ 1 ] in both strength and endurance thanks to the increased resistance, and subsequent stability, created by it. Lastly, this mechanism does not require an activation to enable, and cannot be installed in human puppets due to a lack of mechanical joints that this mechanism relies on.

    Mechanism Description: These thrusters operate in one of a handful of modes depending on the puppeteer's manipulation of them. Focused mode creates a powerful, but limited propulsion that's capable of producing high speeds for one post. Distributed mode creates force over a wider area, increasing the puppet's strength for the purpose of lifting capacity temporarily. Purge mode purges chakra from the puppet's battery equivalent to the rank of use. Focused and Purge modes cannot be maintained, while Distributed mode can sustained when airborne at the cost of half the initial rank's chakra in upkeep per post. This puppet's statistical limits in regards to this mechanism are considered to be that of its puppeteer.

    Mechanism Description: A chakra mechanism that takes root into the ground directly from a puppet as a 5-inch spring loaded, needle-like device potentially embedded in a puppet’s foot or embedded elsewhere and attached to a cable for range extension . A radius of 50 feet around the puppet is subjected to a field of powerful, disorienting jitters infused with the puppeteer’s elemental prowess to both shake up the terrain and create speedy, bludgeoning turbulent waves [10 feet] in height over bodies of water or earth, crashing and capable of burying opponents and objects under the pulse of this mechanism.
    Opponents caught up in this action are potentially subjected to the [Suffocation] status. If a puppet is suspended in the air while using this mechanism and the device does not activate in the ground or water, similar bludgeoning chakra waves are produced without any threat of the [Suffocation] status. Consequently, this effect temporarily disrupts an opponent’s focus of chakra and prevents use of Tree Climbing and Surface Water walking. Colorful chrystanthemums on his right shoulder, an arrangement of bamboo leaves over the right side of his chest. Pine and plum on the front of his right shoulder. Images scaling further onto his arms, however these are genreally hidden by the clothes His eyes and hair and been changed up to hide his identity. Some minor adjustments to the shape of his head and nose were worked in as well.

    ▰ SOCIAL AND PERSONALITY

    Biography:
    In life Suetsune was once a part-time tattoo artist, an assassin, and a resident of the Land of Tea who favored traveling. He became classified as a S-calss criminal and targeted by JUEI after his eventual, alternative choice of work spelt the end for him. Suetsune alternatively took jobs to sabtoage trade when high bidders desired it which, in time, introduced the very acutal reality of the ninja world and how fragile a village was against one who lost their way. He witnessed the destruction of the Leaf and learned the nature of the eventual desctruction of the Whirlpool islands. Whirlpool, however, he learned traced back to a man connected to a divine being. Through the grape vine, Suetsune learned this divine being had more than one child and rumor had it other off-shoots of this being could still be out there.
    In time, Suetsune turned to his new purpose of trying to prevent another senseless destruction of villages with the goal of suppressing of power through his own, elaborate art of the brush and hand. Killing wasn't his interest. If he could stop the latent abilities of the spawns of Evergreen from flourishing than,perhaps, another war could be stopped. His work wasn't easy and generally spent his time lingering in towns in the Land of Fire, looking for children who bore any symbelance to the goddess or her famous offspring. It wasn't easy. He eventually began targeting worshipers of Evergreen and using his knowledge of seals to attempt to cut off even the most ordinary person's connection to molding their own energy. Children were his targets. Adults, however, often became Suetsune's victims. His restraint is what ultimately led to his demise in the hand of JUEI operatives.
    His body was stored in the undergound of JUEI headquarters were agents toiled over learning what secrets lie in his genetic make-up. It was not Sadayo's intention to recycle the body of Suetsune, however, he had a power the JUEI operatives knew would be valuble.

    ▱▰▱ Dual AncestryDual Ancestry: Dual Ancestry allows you to have full access to two bloodlines upon creation including all techniques, abilities, and personal attributes associated with them. If two elemental bloodlines are chosen then the primary bloodline's elemental affinities become your base elements and you gain full access to those elements while your secondary bloodline gives you locked elemental affinities that you cannot learn ninjutsu techniques from but you gain full access to the secondary bloodline. Locked elemental affinities can be unlocked through methods such as ninjutsu class or personal attributes. Elemental affinity personal attributes are automatically allotted to locked affinities. Jiongu users do not have access to Dual Ancestry nor can they be chosen as a secondary bloodline. Dual Ancestry users do not have access to the implant system including the Genetic Palette personal attribute. The Academic's body is considered a scroll so seals can be used and stored on your direct body. Your body may be treated as three scrolls equal to their body rank. If you are double class and have a second discipline from this class then you may add the five slots to your mirrored amount of ninjutsu, using these techniques for ninjutsu, sealing and sensory. Fuuinjutsu and sensory skills do not require handseals and are one rank less in chakra cost and this stacks with the cost reduction benefits of scholar specialization. All three of your activations can be used on fuuinjutsu and/or sensory for one post every three posts in combat. In addition, the duration of all sealing techniques and all sensory techniques are increased by two posts. Finally, Erudite Academic Ninja have the ability to Korabo their fuuinjutsu and sensory for 1 activation with varying cooldowns depending on the rank of the techniques.

An exceptionally large stalk of modified bamboo (1 foot wide, 3 feet long) is a protective shell to a heavy scroll fastened, by a cable, to his waist. The scroll is modified with a harmless device to open and roll as needed.
    Additions made the body include an attachment to the shoulder that links a large paintbrush to the body (designed to look like a bamboo stalk brush).
    Chanting is simulated through rhythmic chiming of bells. The bells have no power.
    Puppet Description: Once human, Suetsune was modified to barely resemble the man he was in life. He has a reinforced metal frame under the grimmly, preserved material making up his exterior. Not to mention the ghastly swap of organic matter for intricate puppet wiring and do-dads! Yuck! It was not Sadayo's intention to recycle the body of Suetsune, however, he had a power the JUEI operatives knew would be valuable. The director was a fine candidate to make use of his skills. The large brush, Karatake, is a 4 foot long instrument which can be held with one hand. It’s sturdy enough to second as a staff to execute basic attacks and styles (if Melee Marionette is present on the puppeteer).

    Mechanism's Rank: B- S+
    This device is incorporated in Suetsune’s shoulder with a chakra receptive container occupying the back. Two special ink wells are present in the brush and the back of Suetsune’s shoulder (however, the brush is what must be damaged - the well in the back of the body is just flavor). This is a secondary, alternative ink resource that relies heavily on Suetsune’s chakra that can be applied to brush based Buki style jutsu and Suetsune’s bloodline abilities paper isn’t available. When making physical contact [basic attacks] with an opponent with a supply of chakra, this device is primarily designed to smear and splatter a special ink that stings and sizzles. This ink absorbs chakra to replenish Suestune’s reserves once every [6] posts up, with one activation, to the amount of the rank used. This device cannot transfer to Sadayo’s chakra pool even though Sadayo’s chakra is required to activate this technique. This is not an alternative chakra source. This does not grant additional chakra than the puppet system determines at rank and tier. This is not a battery. Tracking opponents as per the Ukyo Mizu allows with blood samples is not possible with the Karatake brush alone. Simply bringing this brush into play doesn’t have a resource cost, however, the Chakra absorption device requires a ranked chakra payment.

    The device is located on the ends of the bamboo scroll which are the lock and key to protecting Suetsune’s collection of drawings and seals from prying, mystical (doujutsu) eyes and the fuuin savvy. A layer of chakra envelops the paper to heavily scramble drawings, sigils, fuuin, and inscriptions present on the scroll while open, in use, prepared and closed. While this device is active, further attempts to try to feel out or sense to try to determine the nature of the writings present is obscured into feeling like very low power seals (E-rank).

Application from a distance fires a splash of ink from the puppet’s shoe which are very much like beds of needles! This device is found under the soles of the puppet’s shoes. The ink made available by this technique comes from the Karatake brush well, therefore, if Karatake is not functioning the Wash mechanism cannot work properly.
