A square arena fenced in by metal netting roughly 3 meters high. The ground is covered in a layer of studded iron half a meter thick. A few waist-height pillars dot the area, but aside from them, there is little cover. There is no visible earth or water within this arena. Being iron, the ground is highly conductive of heat and electricity; the only respite from this is the wooden platform for the overseers, located just inside the netting on the side of the arena opposite the entrance.
This time, Minowa was the first in the arena. No earth, no water. Using the above wooden platform could endanger the overseers, or block them from performing their duty. It was made very obvious in the last round, that Minowa was a Doton user, and perhaps preferred Ninjutsu techniques above all others. So this arena made it very obvious that the petite, 11-year-old-boy, would be at the disadvantage. At his side was Itoko, the Binturong, or 'Bearcat.' It's bulky body rumbled and shifted in unease at the surroundings.

Emerald sparks danced across the overhead netting. The first sign that something was amiss would be the iron wall that slammed down at the exit, blocking it off. The second sign would be the subtle orange glow that would suffuse the metal ground of the arena, along with the heat waves that rolled off of it. The only spot seemingly unaffected was the wooden stand used by the overseers, though it was unknown how long it would remain that way if the ground kept heating up.

Agni's clone hopped onto the wall of the metal arena after having navigated the straightforward passage between arenas. Less navigating, and more running in a straight line, really. He was greeted by a not so comforting sight. Orange heat ran through the metal, waves of air emanating off of the shot surface. There was nowhere to stand, and it wouldn't be long before the wooden platform as well burst into flames.
Never mind if the father of the person of interest in this arena had a fiery temper. There was no way anyone was going to be able to tolerate this.
Though, on the topic of that fiery temper, Agni glanced quickly through the arena to make sure Minowa wasn't already on the case of breaking himself out. As a shinobi, Agni had a duty to immediately break out the Mizukage's son, not waste seconds with instructions. At the same time, it would be best if he assisted Minowa if he had already started. At the very least, he should be trying to make a break in the netting at least somewhere near Minowa's location in this vast arena.
A wild look crossed the child's features, bashing away the previous innocent air he wore to instead match the equally ferocious snarl that came over Itoko, it's fur standing stiff and on end. Shouting was raining down from the audience stands, and the overseers had yet to set up on the wooden stand above, leaving child and bear cat locked in a cage that seemed to be trying to cook them alive. Everything was capital 'w' levels of wrong. Instinct kicked in with a scream, and Minowa gave in to the urge; dig. Dig down and deep. Get out of the enemy's sight and scent.
Minowa's hands flew through handsigns as Itoko curled and weaved around his legs, sniffing the air, on guard. But nothing happened - how thick was this metal? A deliberate trap! Maggots take the makers. This heat isn't good - Itoko's paws may soon burn from the metal. Does Minowa risk attacking the wire? Were the green sparks electricity or the activation of this heat? Both? The wooden stand would only further entrap them both while the metal heated up more, became more dangerous. He could get close the edge and try to summon more earth to break the netting from the outside - Itoko yeowls, low and in warning. Turning, blue eyes land on a white mask streaked with red markings. They were standing at the edge of the arena closest to Minowa.
"Let's us out or get crushed." Minowa speaks, decision made. They needed to leave. Now. The netting had to go, or at least get enough dirt in here for Minowa to use to give the Binturong some respite as well as the means for their escape. Can't go under, so up and over it is.

The metal slab of a door at the far end of the arena groaned, then started to raise. On the other side waited two rows of UHV soldiers, covered head to toe in heavy armor. The front line launched a salvo of charged nets into the arena, hoping to bag at least Minowa without having to venture onto the hot plate. The second line started preparing to unleash a volley of kunai from some launchers they were lugging when a tremendous BANG ripped through the pandemonium, the sound carrying in from both the stands and the hallways. The second line, after nary a moment's hesitation, rushed off toward the source of the noise, leaving their comrades to hastily prepare for a second round of attacks.
((5x nets headed into the arena. 2 of them might feasibly reach Minowa. B-Rank to break free, D-Rank to dodge, and they disrupt Chakra forms.))
See? What did we just say about bad tempers? Apparently, it ran in the family. Although, they were certainly two different flavors, and it was true that Minowa had the excuse that his feet were getting uncomfortably toasty. Agni had no direct qualms with the order given, however. After all, it was what he was ready to do to begin with.
Calm but quick, Agni formed the necessary hand seals without a word. The gates at the far end started to groan open, but the only sign that he had noticed it was the slight quickening of his movements. The two types of winds collaborated and gathered at his collection of chakra, and he raised a gale-encased leg. The foot was summarily stomped down, wedging itself in that spot right between the pole of the fence and the wall, and from the point of impact, a vortex was summoned. The beam that held the netting up, already hit by a force that threatened to rip it from the wall, was successfully separated from the wall and subsequently felled by the small cyclone that formed at its weak point.
With chakra reserves practically depleted, he couldn't do much more at this point then trust that Minowa, like any shinobi worth his salt, had dodged the first volley. Likewise, he could probably just jump up to the wall by himself, but out of courtesy, Agni knelt down in front of the new opening and extended a hand out to help Minowa up.

Minowa's attention was caught by the gate opening so soon after it had slamned shut - but the sight of armor and weapons only had the Kiri-nin hunching lower and speeding faster towards the masked individual. Chances were, even if this was a ruse, Minowa and Itoko had a better chance two-on-one than two-on-twenty. The hulking, feline mass of the bearcat also opened up its chakra pathways and sped up to avoid the nets and kunai being thrown their way. The pair ignored the explosion bar a cursory glance to make sure no debris or anything else was going to hit them or block their way. With a gush of air, Minowa launched himself up to take Agni's hand, using his Bukijutsu and Taijutsu training to make his body as small as possible to pass through the hole to - hopefully - not touch the wires. Landing on the otherside, Minowa would then make sure his partner got through as well, the slightly bulkier, furry mass leaping up and through, its arboreal nature helping it through.
As soon as it was clear they were through, the pair moved away from the fence, not wanting to get cornered against it, and neither are fans of such a dry heat either. Itoko, however, had fared even worse, thanks to the pads of its paws being on the metal floor without any protection. Minowa would be sure to carry Binturong-appropriate medicine on him from now on, but could only give an apologetic, solace-filled rub to Itoko's cheek as a silent promise. As his hand gave comfort to his partner, blue eyes looked over to the enemy forces after a glance at Agni. Part of the group had split off, moving off towards the stands, perhaps the source of the explosion. It didn't sound like Papa's, but Minowa was sure it would be long.
Such a large number to capture Minowa, perhaps to use him as bait for his dad or to take his blood. It's not like his life hasn't been surrounded by the odd and sometime supernatural rumours. "Fight or run." It was meant to come out as a question to the masked individual, but concentration and time constraints made Minowa's voice tight and low.

Luna ran off to the arena she had been supposed to be observing, she hoped and prayed to whoever could possibly be listening that whichever children had been here that they were ok. Before getting to the entrance she drew her sabre from it's sheath at her side and opened her chakra paths. She slowed her steps and listened. They sent that large of a group for a child!? She skidded to a halt and saw red at the group of UHV soldiers in front of her. Luna saw red and had chakra rotating around her arms. The lightning sounded as if it were a bunch of birds as it travelled up and over the blade. She shot the "tornado" off from her sabre and into the backs of her enemy. Afterwards she made sure to cover her body in her chakra, and looked around the edge of the doorway. More enemies, but no kids. Good, they were out of the line of fire. Luna growled and shaped her raiton into a spear before throwing it to embed itself in the floor nearest the UHV, hoping for some major conductvity. Suck on that assholes.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it was Inka tearing the chakra-eating net into confetti and diving down like a mama drop bear. Pointing at the incoming helicopter parent, Agni advised Minowa, "Hug," in a low voice, keeping the one-word response as short as possible.
Someone else of great strength had also arrived. Her flashy entrance aside, the way his hair stood on end with her raiton attacks told him all he needed to know about her power. After a certain point, how strong someone was no longer mattered. Killing you ten times over was the same as killing you once over, after all.
Therefore, with daddy and some mystery lady on the scene, the Agni clone returned to his quiet observation of Minowa and his pet. Aside from some badly burnt paws and footwear, the two seemed alright. That was good. Still, one couldn't be too sure. Not with kiri nin, at least, least of all with this kid who'd apparently learned many of his dad's bad habits.

Minowa and Itoko would get to the outside of the net just fine, the UHV's attempts at capturing them failing to get even a single hair. Meanwhile, the retreating group of soldiers was quickly cut down; though the Chakra form holding Luna's attack together dispersed on their shields, the sheer force was enough to rend pieces of their armor and the flesh underneath. The soldiers near the Raiton spear didn't fare very well either, though for an entirely different reason: their shields dispersed the initial shock, but the ground beneath their feet didn't fare so well, cracking and crumbling away until they were brought to their knees.
A thin, noxious-looking fog started wafting down the hallway leading right from the arena's exit. In this quantity it stuck primarily to the floor, so there was no danger yet, but it signaled there might be more to come.

爆 Ｉｎｋａ Ｈｉｚａｒａ 爆 Minowa: within sight. Attackers: two groups. Group 1: Being dealt with. Group 2: fleeing - punish.
As the front line of the force that had stayed behind to continue their attempts in capturing Minowa were being dealt with by a woman of considerable skill, the retreating backline may have been counting their blessings that had been reassigned to deal with the earlier explosion that had sounded through the hallways and stands. That was until a large snake of fire appeared, almost as if to consume them - but it veered off, doing nothing more than block the exit with its intense, blazing heat, lying low to the ground. It was originating from just off the side of the exit, up on the railing seperaing stands and arena.
Ka-BOOM
There was a trench left behind where the snake had slithered across in front of the exit, deep and nasty looking with rough, torn edges. Trailing the newly made trench backwards would lead to the wall, where almost damage could be seen, proving the source of the blast being directional. On top of the wall stood a figure drapped in a black cloak, the stark white cuffs and emblem of Mizukage blazing in the light. Jumping forward, Inka landed just off side from the cracked exit, not daring to put his back to the dark depths, but never he willing allow the attackers against his son to be able to escape either. Not without giving them long-lasting reminders - physical or otherwise.
His face was all volcanic fury, dagger in one hand, and dark spheres clasped in another. Behind him, the Kiri Anbu stood on the wall, making sure no-one could attack the Mizukage's blindspot. The hand holding the blade lifts, forming a handsign around the handle, suddenly seven Mizukages were standing between the group and their originally intended exit. Despite the strength of his explosive attack, Inka held no doubt that their body armour - and those unfortunate enough to be in the front - had softened the blow enough that not all of them were bashed up enough for his liking.
"Smog, from the entrance!" The Anbu called, their voice far more distinctive than before from having to call over from the wall. Inka subconsciously clicked his tongue, using his peripheries to keep a check on the noxious-looking fog roiling into the arena, threatening to sweep over the ankles of his imitations after filling up the ditch - how long could that be? But he had no intention of backing down. Not just yet.

T e c h n i q u e s : [ Custom ] Hebi no Rendoreiku [ Snake's Rend ] B-Rank Snake's Rend is executed in two steps. Fire is breathed out by the user into a long stream, reaching 7m/22ft in length. The flame itself is only hot enough to cause first degree burns and lights flamable materials instantly. However, at anytime, the user can instil a pulse of deliberately unstable chakra. This second step causes an explosion along the entire flame's length. The force of the explosion is as follows; when an individual is next to or closer than 4m/13ft to the blast they are blown clear off their feet, with the organs vitally damaged by the blast force alone, causing a painful, slow death. They would also suffer third degree burns and numerous, deep gashes. When standing at a distance of 4m/13ft to 6m/19ft the individual is still blown down, suffers minor burns and the organs are injured enough to severly impact performance then on, with minor internal bleeding and tearing occuring. Healing recomended but not fatal. After 6m/19ft the individual will be buffeted by the explosive force but may retain enough stability to not be knocked down completely. No burns will occur.
Juurai Toorima Izumi Hanshoku Meimu [ Fountain Multiply Illusion ] The user holds a single handsign, generating focus points all over his body. After doing so, the user is capable of emitting up to six projections of himself from these focus points at any given time. These images are capable of mimicking one non-offensive action from the user, such as dodging or jumping, making them appear to be much more physical than they are. It should also be noted that these images can phase through solid objects. Each image lasts for four posts. Images can be used as vessels for the Afterimage Technique, despite not being physical; however, smoke bombs hidden in the images burst immediately should anything knock them out of their image.
Minowa watched as a woman with silver-grey hair ran into the grounds and immediately began tenderising the UHV forces with their own poison that had been nominated against Minowa - wonder what happened to the genin he was meant to verse... Minowa appeared unaffected at the sight of grown men being brought down with such forces, but his reaction to the second explosion was perhaps the most telling; all he did was shield his eyes from the light and sprinkling of debris with a calm hand. Seeing the black cloak of his father, and the face he bore, Minowa knew it would take a strong force or hard logic to redirect that stubborn bull of a papa. So he may as well contribute. Not getting a step closer then he had to, Minowa rushed forward to perform a technique to help push the enemy towards his father and keep the enemy from getting too comfortable in regrouping. The wall of wood would spring up through ground - blessedly free of the harsh metal flooring of his previous cage - and twist and knot itself tight and high, blocking Minowa from their view, cutting off their opportunity to attack Luna's back, and decrease their chances to make a successful retreat elsewhere. Taste of their own medicine in more ways then one.

Tired of wasting her chakra on it, Luna dropped the jutsu concealing her identity. The red hair turned silver, the muted blue eyes turned a mixture of bright green and blue, and the unassuming colors of her clothing turned the red of the desert sand and the black of a desert night. The symbol of Sunagakure was proudly displayed, sewn into her clothing above her left breast. Ayame adjusted the sabre at her side and gave a low growl at the UHV she had yet to incapacitate, her blue green eyes glowed with pure malice and the intent of death. She clicked her teeth together and growled. She had once been called a monster by a UHV Titan, so she was going to show them a monster. She ran her claws along the wall giving them just a bit more sharpness and using the noise to frighten her enemies. Using her enhanced speed to shoot to the closest UHV soldier she could get her hands on, she dug into the weak spot of the armor at his neck going for maximum destruction. At either side of the soldier’s neck she impaled them on her claws then ripped through him, each hand going in a different direction. The blood that splashed on to her was only fuel to the raging within her. Children, though they may be shinobi, were off limits. She quickly moved to those she had brought to their knees going for their eyes and necks making sure to rip and tear into each one before bringing out her sabre and making sure they were dead. She then jumped up and out of the hole in the net to stand on the side looking to the four who had gathered there. Her nose wrinkled at the new smell of the gas and she looked to the group. Either one of you able to take care of that mess?

Clone Agni observed succinctly from the side, "Unless we destroy the source, our only reprieve appears to be up." With those few words, he meant to convey that, unless the group had a means of enduring the smog or constantly keeping it blown back until they could find its source, there didn't seem to be a way to deal with it other than simply running away.
Amidst the flashy techniques and brutal strikes, Agni stood still and silent without doing a single thing. His voice was dull and his mask, thankfully, emotionless. Even the tiny eleven year old year out performed him in terms of firepower.Unassuming and easy to forget. Perfect for a simple shadow of an Enpisee.
Behind that mask, though he didn't dare turn his face in the presence of the Kazekage, the medic's eyes carefully scanned the mass of dead bodies for any survivors that may have escaped their killer's notice. No doubt, with the purported strength of some who had come, especially those from Suna, he would not be surprised if this sort of carnage was repeated in several other places. However, the difference was he had a set of eyes in this place.
Protecting Minowa (and Inka but what was a clone with 1 chakra going to do for the Mizukage) were top priority, of course. It was just that they were pretty right darn safe right now. No injuries on Minowa aside from his pet's burned paws, which he had already made a mental note of to tend once his real body was here with enough chakra.
And Inka? Haha. The first thing Agni did was give the Mizukage a good once over from where he stood. A little ruffled, but he appeared otherwise unscathed.
Yume landed safely, somehow dodging all of the mess of blood and explosions, with pristine white fur. She, if permitted to pass by the ANBU, caught up to and stuck close to Inka. Ayame was the superior choice, but she was currently all bloody right now, so the pretentious kitty supposed that he could grace Inka with his presence like he was supposed to.
