The Kitsune went with you, leading the way while their whisps danced around them. The climb was rather on the steep side and when you finally reached the top, you found you are standing on a plateau of sorts. The Kitsune ran forward a few steps in spite of being winded from the climb. They stared out across the swamp below for several moments before deflating. "I'd have hoped we could see the witch's home from here, but I guess not." They looked around a few moments more and spotted what seemed like a thin path of skeletal trees back down. "Let's hurry anyway. We must be close by this point."
The path down crowds you from the sides, forcing you to walk in single file. Suddenly you hear an exclamation from the back, followed by others. Someone's tripped, and is tumbling down the hill, taking out others on the way! Roll 1d10 to see if you can find a break in the trees to jump out of the way!
You reach what looks at first to be another meadow, but something's different. The ground here seems mossy and soft under your feet, squishy almost. You'll have to tread lightly here. Who knows what will happen if you don't? Roll 1d10 to find firm footing.

Slipping and skidding, some unfortunate ponies tumble down, almost taking out the Kitsune along the way. Below you, there is the sound of splashing as one by one they hit water and with shrieks are pulled under.
As the rest of you reach the bottom, you find of course that they've already vanished, hopefully to reappear at the entrance to the swamp.
In front of you is a small bubbling bog. As you watch a large bubble forms on the surface and pops. Looking around it seems you have two options:
Go into the water to cross to the other side
Take a thin path skirting the edge

You reach the other side of the squishy meadow safely. Before you is a large pond of crystal clear water. Standing across from the pond in shadow stands a pony. A unicorn from the look of them.
"Oh thank goodness!" They exclaim. "I've been lost in here for so long! Can I come with you?"
What will you say?:

No?
Nothing at all?

Oh no! You got lost and were swallowed by the darkness! Don't worry though, you'll just appear at the entrance to the swamp, but you've been eliminated!
