You've accepted the desperate Kitsune's plea, following them to the edge of a swamp; Blackmurk Swamp, specifically. The Kitsune shakes their head, ears flattened as their strange wisps flutter around them, fading in and out of existence.

"You can head back, if you'd like," they grunt in your direction. You've come this far, and you're not entirely sure the way back; so the answer is obvious. The Kitsune smirks slightly, pleased by your determination.

"There's a few rules before we enter. Blackmurk Swamp has been known for having a few... individuals who like to cause problems.

Those rules are simple, and I won't repeat them again.

1. If someone enters our group that wasn't there prior, don't speak to them. Don't even address them. They'll go away eventually.

2. Sometimes, a pony will appear from the swamp waters and ask a question. The answer is always no.

3. Never offer your names within this swamp.

4. If you ever need to go into the water, ask it for safe passage. I won't come rescue you if you don't."

Four simple rules, and should you break any... well, consequences may follow. Remember these rules, as despite what options will be presented to you they'll still need to be followed. The rules make your spine shudder; what was the necessity behind them? The Kitsune walks past you, and you follow with the group. Chatter is soft and low, with a wobble of nerves mixed in. You're all wondering why you joined this strange on a quest that didn't even pertain to you.

You're traveling a path through the forested swamp, but it abruptly splits as the decaying trees grow in size. You have two options; go left or go right. A member of the group lets out a sharp yelp as she falls to the ground, nursing a cut hoof. It seems she walked over a rogue rock carelessly!

"Give me a second... we're going to split into groups. Pick your direction, I'm going to tend to her hoof."

A. Go left!
B. Go right!
