The woods were thick and full of... well, terrors. As soon as a decision presented itself in the form of a fork in the road, an apparition made itself known, of bark and bone, and sprang toward Stardust. Panicking, she fled down the... left path, hoping for the best.

The lightning felt like far to sort of a shock making her not notice the slide downhill Solenglyphouse's chittering became a screech of shock which she was glad that Nox was not there to see. That would have been humiliating to have her employer see such a weakness. She might not have panicked but the lack of wing webbing did not help. Rolling she picked herself up and looked around. there was a strange meadow out in the swamp. Well she was half tempted to abandon her quest and just look for herbs after all this place was strange enough given location who knows what she might find. Shaking her head she continued forward trying to explore the meadow

Nebit let out a terrified shriek when she had suddenly started sliding down the steep hill. Once she had made it mostly safe to the bottom she sat there for a minute panting and gathering her thoughts. She was starting to have doubts and was afraid that she was going to end up dead. After another moment she stood and gazed around the meadow. Maybe she should see if the rest of the party was here.

Rng 1-40 to search the meadow.

That was too close for comfort, but at least he escaped whatever it was that lunged out at him. Red let out a sigh in relief, but it was far too soon for that it seemed. Turning his head forward, he finally felt the ground sliding from under him. Instinctively, his hooves start to peddle backwards; a frantic effort to stop himself... or at least slow down. No good. He started to add his wings, frantically flapping his wings to see if that would help. His efforts doubled when he noticed what he was quickly approaching. Oh great. He inwardly cursed his decision, his hooves still scrambling backwards. "In the case I land in the water, please grant me passage." The permission was spit out fast, a last minute addition that Red highly doubted would work, even if he did manage to splash into the waters of the bog. Right now, his mind was mostly worried about stopping. Please stop. Please stop. By the spirits... please... stop!!!

Luna felt the air around her being displaced as the ghostly claws attacked her. The ground suddenly fell under her and carried her swiftly away from danger. She paused in the valley her breathing labored as she tried to adjust to her situation.

~ Papa smirks, as he looks around the meadow. spotting the strange glimmer he sinks near it. He stops a little bit from it and drops to the ground before he wiggles his butt and launches himself on it. got you thingie. He plays with it a little bit rolling it around between his paws. He then flips on his back and kicks it a little bit before standing back up and looking at the Kitsune as he speaks. he then nods before continuing to play with the pearly stone like a cat with mouse. this thing is fun to play with! Look a shiny!~

Starry Sunrise wrinkled her nose a bit at the bog below. Good thing she hadn't gone further... Would have been bad news for her.
Slowly she turns and starts heading another direction.

Solenglyphouse was busy investigating the pearl when the kitsune’s voice surprised her. Her eyes narrowed looking over them. Twigs everywhere. She smiled and went back to investigating her pearly stone in the open. “This isn’t an herb but it’s pretty.” Rolling it between her claws she liked how it caught the light and had a pearl like glow to it. She could see others around her and recognized a few from the start. That made her feel better.

Scuro is still shocked from the ground going out from under him. He realizes he is now in the meadow and looks around. It seems to be a nice Meadow. He decides to explore as much of it as he can....

Luna was thankful to have escaped the danger. She knew she couldn't fully relax but the meadow was peaceful. The pearly stone they had found was pretty perhaps it would bring the group some luck.

Red could feel his heart racing a mile a minute when he finally managed to stop before he landed in the bog, hooves just on the edge; feeling where the ground started to get soft. As a precaution, he quickly backed away several steps from it before even thinking about catching his breath. He swallowed big gulps of breath, one after another, then looks around. Well, it seems despite his effort to stick with everyone else... he got separated from the whole group. Great. Better work on trying to find the others. Going forward wasn't an option, looking back to the bog briefly. Shaking his head, Red turned around and began to look for any signs of the other search party or, at least, the Kitsune.
