A youth opened it and sprayed her with water, causing Miriam to shriek and stumble away from the house, dropping more candy as she did. CANDY COUNT: 10+8-5-3+8+10+8+10+10+8-5-7+2=54

As she touched the bowl, a withered hand popped out from the center. Miriam leapt backwards, falling down the stairs as she did, and losing several candies in the process.
