[PRP] A Morning of Discovery (Mel, L'cius, Veltanna)

Veltanna woke quickly and knew within a few seconds that she was not in her own bed. The mattress was wrong, the angle of the light was different, and way the place smelled was odd to her. Then there were the two other people in the bed with her and the memory of the gold flight. That had been fun. She gave a contented sigh and wiggled slightly before blinking her eyes open to look around.

Experimentally she poked the two beside her. Were they awake yet?

Mel snored and drooled just a little bit. One of her arms was stretched across L'cius while a leg had become entangled with Veltanna's as well as the sheets. Her hair was an absolute mess, and she had had a good time, thank you very much. Since goldflights threw a wrench in things anyway, she was going to take every extra second to sleep in surrounded by warm bodies.

It was better than waking up alone.

At Veltanna's poke, Mel made a low whine and rolled more over L'cius's form to avoid it.

The afternoon and night before was a blur. L'cuis didn't remember much of anything except somehow falling in with two bodies. How they had even made it back to his weyr amazed him.

Sleeping on his stomach, head nestled in the furs, the sandy haired youth was definitely more out of it then he usually was when it came to mornings. It was only the small poke, low whine and then a body more on top of his that had the head raising from where it was, eyes blinking blearily at his surroundings.

Mel wasn't immediately recognized as well as it was a bit harder to see the woman as she lay a bit more on him, but Veltanna was someone L'cius knew well from weyrling training. "Mornin'" His voice was a bit deeper and slower with the sleep still very much clear and he couldn't help the yawn as he let his head fall back upon the pillow.

The blue dragon had poked his head in once he felt His was awake and Tierth let his eyes whirl happily as he looked at those upon the bed. He recognized Veltanna just as easily as L'cius had.

Up L'cius up! I cannot believe you are asleep when there is more of a chance to play.

The words got a groan from the boy as he shifted some, peaking an eye out to look over at the blue head that was swaying slightly. I'm a bit exhausted from last nights 'play' It had been great and he knew he had enjoyed it even if everything blurred together come morning. It was just warmer here and he didn't want to get up yet.

Veltanna took the two less than enthusiastic responses as indications that people were awake. “Good morning!” She sang out happily, energetic as always. She considered the limbs and decided that she could get out without too much hassle and began to extracted herself.

Do you want breakfast?! An excited green interrupted her thoughts.

Umm…sure? Veltanna wasn’t sure what breakfast from Moirath entailed, but was game to find out. For three please. She continued to try to extract herself.

I know, silly. Was the response with a light giggle. It wasn’t long before Moirath was winging over Tierth’s ledge. Can I join you? She would figure out how to deliver her basket if he said no…but worth asking. She didn’t always do things the hard way. Only often.
