Azurea had been letting Rose drag her around for a while now but with this next choice she really wanted to go and explore more so she figured she should speak up now otherwise she would just be following Rose this whole adventure. "Rosewater??" She pointed to the north "Can we go investigate that way I want to see what is over there, it might be something really cool or pretty." She said explaining her Az type reason. We shall the torches let's go see another display. Fear was not part of her thinking what so ever. Monster ok let's ok see if it is pretty!!

[Rosewater x Azurea | B : Investigation]
Rose was rather enjoying this peaceful walk through the lit pathway, hand in hand with the lovely girl to her side while making small talk. Sure, her partner seemed a bit dazed, but that was perfectly expected from this sort of situation. Maybe they'd continue off in a peaceful direction this way...
Her ears twitched moment before the impact of the explosion hit in the direction the sound was coming from, giving her just a moment's time to pull in Azure and shield her behind. Sprites were sensitive to changes in air quality, like dust, and she couldn't have her growing weak because of a sudden influx of it in the air.
She was pretty much okay though, if a touch unsteady, considering the lack of shrapnel or aftershocks.
Her ears flicked up and down to kick off the residual dust.
Yeah, no.
"Alright, well I suppose we ought to just get back to..." her voice trailed off as Azurea actually spoke up for the first time in quite some time. "Yes?" Her ear flicked in mild curiosity about what was suddenly setting her off. She wanted to go off towards the explosion - which mind you they didn't know the source of - because it might be cool or pretty...?

You know what, <******** it. Okay. Why not. Mental wellness was key to and experience, and if this was gonna help Azurea stay well, there was nothing to lose. The party's hosts wouldn't actually put them in any real danger after all, wasn't that right? Hopefully
Teog pulled to a halt at the fork in the road. Current company be damned, he simply closed his eyes and spun. He landed on the oath where things seemed to be less angry than the other one. Which worked for twog. Unable to grab weapons before the walls tumbled, he was weapon less and didnt really wanna fight anything. So off toward the defeated noises he went.
Krayyven huffed. She was getting farther and farther away from the handsome bird it felt like and tugged along more with Twog. "We need to find out how to get out of here...and quick. Before I lay scrambled eggs." she screeched, rubbing her forehead. When she heard the various sounds, she'd have chosen to go towards anger but a defeated meal did sound like an easier meal at least.
Twog snorted as he ran along the path. "You laying scrambled eggs would be the best thing about this place. At least we could eat." He muttered.
"Also, if you have any ideas on how to get out of here, feel free to pick our next path." He said that part rather loudly. He was going with what he had to work with. Which was absolute zilch. His first year at a big venus day party and he was in maze. "It'snot like I've ever done this before."
No. To be honest, his instincts were screaming at him to avoid anything threatening because threats were bad. And when going thru unknown territory, it was always best to follow your instincts.

Coraciidae chooses B that's a key!
Surprised to find that she wasn't the only one to come this way, Cora took a brief moment to look over Dulce and Beatrice. "You two look great together!" she chirped enthusiastically, but, before she could gush any further, a particularly annoyed grunt from the captives turned her attention to them.
Opening her mouth to say something similar about their attractiveness, she was distracted by their pointed looks somewhere around her feet. Blinking, she looked down and saw the key. "Ohhhhh." Lightbulb. A key would probably be awfully helpful with those chains, huh? Bending down, she grabbed it and moved forward, looking for a lock.
Dulce x Beatrice - B get the key!! "Oh! Hey, thanks!" Dulce responded to the compliment. She couldn't help a little blush and a glance toward Beatrice. "You're quite gorgeous yourself!" She flashed her a little smile. Indeed, the angel had a unique beauty that was nearly distracting, but then they rounded the corner.
Dulce was surprised to see the two youths in chains, to say the least. "Oh my Guardians!" she exclaimed, and without thinking rushed forward to try to help them. After pulling physically on the chains for a moment, she noticed that they were motioning toward a key. Oh! A key!

"Oh? You've been doing a pretty good job so far." she huffed, her feathers ruffled. Still, she felt kinda bad. She hadn't even really apologized for punching him in the face before all this happened.
Except she still stood by he deserved that one.
Rubbing her temples, she tried her best to calm down. It really wasn't his fault they were here. "Don't be so worried. You felt my punch. I'll handle anything that comes our way." she said, giving her tail feathers a flick and her head a defiant nod. "With how much crying and dejection whatever is near us, doesn't sound like its going to be that much of a threat anyways." she added as an after thought. What she didn't say out loud was the mental addition of 'I hope.' to that last sentence.
She looked over at Twog thoughtfully. It would be a shame to lose such a colorful playtoy, even if he wasn't a fire bird. He was still handsome in his own way. If not pushy.
Twog x Krayyvin Whats this? The sound of cheerful fish begin to fill your ears as you turn the corner. It seems to be coming north of you. You can’t see much, not like south of you were blue torches light up a hallway. Hmmm what to do…
A. Fish sound delicious! Lets head north B. Fish sounds suspicious, lets head south.
Eleora As she follows the blue torches, she notices a weird hole in the columns. It looks like something busted through it? The base is all crumbled.. What happened here? Either way, it has created a path north that has a gentle breeze stirring and a pink light is warming the columns. The path before her continues west with the blue torches turning north after this. There is a crushed mirror on the ground just at the turn. Curious.
A. Continue to follow the blue torches west to investigate the mirror. B. But north seems almost… peaceful. Head that way!
Carnelia, Kulamani, Henry The wails grow louder as the Pae head north. Soon they come to a fork in the road, one headed west and the other east. The sounds coming from the east path sound angry while the west sounds defeated. As soon as you make that note, the angry sounds dissipate. Its gone! Is that good?
A. Head west towards the defeated creature B. Head east towards the silence
Feng Zhi This group watched as the others split up and headed down different paths. As pretty as the columns are, there isn’t a whole lot to do here. Should they move on now? There is a long path with billowing fire before them while another has the sounds of wails echoing from it.
A. Start down the long, west path towards the fire coming out of the walls B. Take the west path that turns north suddenly right towards the wails
Rosewater x Asurea The dust clears and after a few hacking coughs the pair find themselves in a curious part of the maze. There is a pink light ahead washing everything out and a gentle breeze luring them forward. As they head towards it they notice a break away where the columns are cracked as if bodies had been thrown into it. There are loud grunts and yells of fighting.
A. Head north towards the pink light B. Head south – sounds like someone might need your help!
Sedna Apparently a cheerful fish sound is the sound of the teen Daedulus… or at least it looks like him? A giant bubble full of water floats in the air with a tiny gold fish style Daedulus inside. The gold fish demi is singing a cheerful tune despite his upset facial expressions. This is a curious predicament.
A. Pop goes the fishy! Pop that bubble! B. Ew, fish, lets head back the way we came!
Dulce, Beatrice, Coraciidae You’ve saved the spartan teens! You better believe they won’t forget this. Since this spot seems to be a dead end, you bid them farewell as you head back the way you came- south, turning north, then straight west, wow now south, then finally east to a fork in the road. What a hike! Wait what’s that? Sounds like a cheerful little fish north of you, but if you look south you see some pretty impressive blue torches. Hmmm..

Eleora chooses A
Eleora continued on her way, following the light, as that was what made sense to her. She stopped at the crumbled column base, the pink light looked inviting, but she also didn't like the possibility that some large...something... had to have caused the damage she was looking at. Instead she continued on her current path. What had happened to that mirror? She wondered as she moved closer to it to take a look. Eleora fearfully wondered if this had actually been the way that whatever had broken the column had gone. The female sighed, attempting to catch her breath that was getting heavy in her chest.
Twog laughed. "Yeah. I'm sure you can. I could sworn it was one the spartan twins that hit me. " he sent her a wink with that compliment. Not a sexy wink. More like, buddy in hell wink. If there was such thing. He wasnt about to get hit or seduced. Again. Not that he thought she would. They were in the middle of a maze, after all.
Pausing for a moment, he cocked his head. "You hear that? That sounds happy. Not sure what happy is doing here in the maze, but let's go that way. Surely happy means exit. Right? " he asked, already walking that way. Surely to goddess, happiness meant exit. Exit meant home.
"Ya know, I could use one of those scrambled eggs right about now." He teased, getting pretty confident since they hadn't been killed yet. Well, more specifically, he hadn't been killed yet.

Coraciidae chooses A and goes to see a happy little fish
Cora would have gladly stuck around to chat with her new friends; she was bubbling with curiosity about who they were, what they were doing here, etc., etc. But it seemed like they were ready to get out of this place now that those heavy chains were off and she couldn't really blame them. She was super ready to be done with this herself. So she told them goodbye, insisted they meet up sometime, and turned back the way she'd come, walking backwards and waving until they were lost to view.
When she finally came to a crossroads after a rather long and twisty journey, she paused to weigh her options. Those blue flames sure looked cool (badum tiss), but what was that sound coming from the North? She didn't know how she arrived at it being a fish in a good mood, but she really wanted to see that. If following sad sounds had led her to rescuing someone and making their day, then following cheerful fish sounds would surely lead to something even better, right?
Dulce x Beatrice - B, avoid le fish Dulce waved as the twin youths flew away, and backtracked with Beatrice and the other angel until they reached a fork in the path. The bubbling noises...ehh....it was probably one of those strange fish-pae. She supposed they had as much right to exist as anyone else, but she wasn't too keen to meet one in person. It just seemed...unnatural. Looked like the other angel was headed that way. Perhaps she'd call if there was a way out that way.
"I think we should go this way," she said to Beatrice, motioning down the other path, toward the blue flame torches.

Sedna picks A. She's popping that fish bubble
Oh my now what was this? She came up to a bubble holding a teen. He looked so unhappy having to sing a upbeat tune. Sedna slide up to the bubble and rested her hand on the surface of the bubble. It seemed fragile. Maybe he couldn't break the film himself? She silently watch for a moment. Could he be one of those gods under the pink foofy one? She hadn't seen him at the great battle but he was a teen. Was he born after? So why was he here? Just because his linage? That was no fault of his. Hmm.
A part of her wanted to laugh. A greater part of her understood this situation as one equal to her own. She was alone and the heaviness was suffocating of that fact was always on her mind. Then her own bubble popped. The heaviness of her mind was lifted. A freedom? She had never thought of it like that before.
....
She said nothing as her retractable claws came out and dug into the flimsy film of the bubble.
B. Head east towards the silence Carnelian & Kulamani
"I suppose it wouldn't be very hard to find a place safer than this." He sure hoped that purpuryt was okay. "I agree the wailing is better than being burned alive."
He followed her as they went down that path before stopping at another intersection. One way the wailing continued while the other path was silent.
"I think that the silent path is the safest choice. We don't know what is making that noise."
Best to play it safe and not worry about it being a trap of some sort.

Henry's heart went out to the defeated sound, he wondered what happened to the angry sound that was weird that it had disappeared but he wanted to find the defeated sound that way he could make sure they were not badly hurt and might be in serious trouble. That was what he considered the priority here not running to figure out where the angry sound went. For that matter that could be a trick to bring the angry voice another figure to knock down and hurt and Henry wanted no part in fighting someone.

Az really wanted to go to the pink light, but she didn't want to be bossy either so she turned to Rose and asked. "What do you think pink light?" Her tone was hopeful that Rosewater would want to go there to, but she wouldn't beg this time for them to do what she wanted since she got her way last time. So far they hadn't faced anything scary or hard, she wondered if the pink light was a false sense of fun perhaps it would turn out to be something more adventurous then one might otherwise think.
