Her body, like gum, is harder to cut but takes more from blunt force damage. Ultimately she this allows Gummi to look perfectly fine, not her clothes, after taking massive attacks, as well as allowing her to get a part of her at range to capture those she wishes to absorb with.

xxxxx※ Deep within an underground cavern sat a cocoon, long forgotten by any living today. Inside resided an ancient life form, their slumber having lasted thousands of years. Forced into the cocoon by paranoid and scared humans, the creature inside no longer held any of the semblance of 'good' that it had cherished before. The life form harbored only hatred and wanted revenge on those that had unjustly sealed it within. Over the thousands of years, the captive inhabitant could only think of two things. The happiness she lost, and the happiness she would take away from those that had wronged her. She waited, biding her time as she slowly gathered energy over the years. It wasn't until recently that the amount of energy she absorbed began to skyrocket, as powerful fighters began popping up on the planet and showcasing their abilities. The fighters were powerful, and they were fighting more frequently. Eventually, as the cocoon had gathered enough energy, it cracked open, and pink steam escaped from inside. Through the steam, two red eyes opened. Finally, Gummi could enact her revenge.
