MONIQUE's OWLs

Core Classes

Astronomy : P

Monique couldn't say that astronomy was a subject she was good at. It may be her cousin's interest but it certainly wasn't hers.
Attempting to deal with everything she only managed a Poor grade. Wasn't a pass but she hardly cared.

Charms : E

Charms wasn't Monique's strongest class but it wasn't her worst. She pushed herself to study and do well in the class.
By the end she managed to Exceed Expectations which meant she could continue the course.

Defence Against the Dark Arts : E

Monique was pretty decent with her defensive skills. It was her practical that she was really great at.
Her written exam despite studying for it that drove her grade down. Though, Mona had no complaints about Exceeding Expectations.

Herbology : D

Herbology was far from an interest for the Gryffindor. She hated getting dirty and dealing with plants in general.
Though she did alright written wise, her practical was horrid. Thus she wound up with a Dreadful grade.

History of Magic : P

History was yet another one of those subjects Monique couldn't be bothered with.
Though, she studied for her exam it didn't help her to pass. Falling short with a Poor grade it wasn't a big loss for her.

Potions : A

Monique wasn't a fan of potions. They were a pain to do and the ingredients were not something she wanted to bother with.
Luckily her knowledge and study practices got her through the written portion of the exam.
Though, her practical was less the ideal landing her with a low Acceptable grade.

Transfiguration : O

Transfiguration was a class Monique excelled in. She found it interesting and it came naturally to her.
Though she had an easier time with it then other forms of magic, she still needed to study.
Luckily she managed to do just that and received an Outstanding grade for her efforts.

Electives

Alchemy : A

Alchemy was practically like potions for Monique but with one exception, there were spells.
Those she could figure out and was able to produce decently well.
Though the material was quite the struggle she was able to push through and gain an Acceptable grade.

Art : O

Monique was largely into art. So when the elective of art came round it was no surprise that she was enrolled.
Despite hiding her artistic ways, she didn't need to while in the class. Walking away with an Outstanding grade she was super happy about it.

Healing : E

Monique took healing out of interest. It was practical and as such she managed to do quite well in the subject.
Obtaining an Exceeding Expectations grade she was satisfied with that result.

Mythology : A

Mythology was sort of interesting but also sort of not in Monique's eyes.
She studied the material and attempted to do well enough for a messily pass.
An Acceptable grade was what she got which she had no complaints with.

Wandless Magic : A

Monique took an interest in doing magic without a wand. Though it was harder then it looked she did her best to learn.
By the time the exam rolled around she was prepared enough to get through her exam.
Landing herself an Acceptable grade she believed she could have done better.

Wandlore : E

Wandlore to Monique was very much an art. It took skill to make a wand and make it right. So she went into the course ready to learn all she could.
Absorbing everything possible, the Gryffindor managed to Exceed Expectations which was great for her.

MONIQUE's NEWTs

Core Classes

Charms : A

Monique had strong hopes that she'd be able to keep her grade able the average.
Though as the material got harder so to did her ability to keep up the grade.
Ultimately she landed a mere Acceptable grade during her NEWT, which left her disappointed in her own abilities.

Defence Against the Dark Arts : O

Defence without a written exam to worry about was a much better time for Mona.
She managed an Outstanding grade with the lack of actual book work in more hands on work.

Transfiguration : O

Transfiguration was always a class Mona did well in. Her enjoyment for the more challenging subject manage to keep her going.
Gaining herself an Outstanding grade by the end as a result of her hardwork, she had no complaints.

Electives

Alchemy : A

Alchemy was still very much a struggle, it was one of the most difficult classes Monique was in.
Luckily she managed to hold herself together and gain herself an Acceptable grade.

Art : O

Monique slacking when it came to art was just unheard of. Much like hearing her failing such a class would be unheard of.
So when NEWT exams rolled around, it was no surprise that Mona managed to continue her trend of an Outstanding grade.

Healing : E

Monique had never wanted to be extremely perfect with healing nor did she want to completely let her grade sink.
So when it came time to dealing with the subject she strove to keep it relatively equal to what it had been before.
Exceeding Expectations, Monique was satisfied with the result she managed to hold onto.

Wandless Magic : E

Mona had been disappointed with her OWL grade believing she could do better. As such the Gryffindor strove to prove that she could.
In the end she Exceeded Expectations which was an improvement over her previous set of exams, something Mona was proud of.

Wandlore : E

Wandlore continued to be an interest for Monique. She tried her best to do well on her final exam.
Exceeding Expectations she took the grade given that she doubted she'd go into a wandmaker's line of work.
