■ Everyone dreams of the stars, Margaux reasoned, and it for her is a great inspiration for her designs. Her interest pushed her forward, though, her heavy course load forced her to focus on other coursework more. She is satisfied with her Exceeds Expectations at least.

xxxCHARMS ~ Oxxx

■ As her ambitions have led her to a path towards being a skilled jeweler and charmer of metals and jewels, Margaux took the course very serious and with her natural talents and wit easily got a high score in Charms.

xxxDEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS ~ EExxx

■ Margaux was a quick learner and she always did well enough in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Well enough isn't Outstanding, unfortunately, but Margaux reasons she is not becoming an Auror and an Exceeds Expectations is enough to hold her own if she has to.

xxxHERBOLOGY ~ Dxxx

■ Margaux was able to amaze the testers in her perfect understanding and knowledge of Herbology. Unfortunately, Margaux's scoring dropped quickly when it came to the practical element of the exam where she offended the examiners and several others not present in her blatant refusal to even touch a dirty thing such as the plants and that was why poor people existed. Needless to say her examiners reluctantly did not give her a worst score as she understood the material on a purely book sense perfectly well.

xxxHISTORY OF MAGIC ~ EExxx

■ Inspiring and yet so boring at times, Margaux summarized History of Magic. She knew they dumb-ed the course down for Muggleborns, but why? She firmly believed that there should have been a separate class for that lot. Somewhere in her occasional tuning out of lecture, she did miss important information, so that easy "O" did not quite happen for her.

xxxPOTIONS ~ Oxxx

■ Memorization and patience? Please, Margaux thought, this would be easy. She did take the exam and course seriously, but was also confident in her abilities which she happily showed off on her OWL exam.

xxxTRANSFIGURATION ~ Oxxx

■ Margaux was initially unsure how much she would like this course, despite it's importance. She loved it and took to it just as well if not better than Charms. Happily, she was able to score an Outstanding that she was quite proud of.

xxxALCHEMY~ Oxxx

■ It was only natural for Margaux to devout her talents and skills to mastering alchemy, a magic devoted to the study of metals. Jewelry often contains metal and her family stressed the importance of Alchemy. Margaux did her family proud and got an Outstanding for the score.

xxxARITHMANCY ~ EExxx

■ Margaux was naturally quite intelligent, but brilliance can only carry someone so far. With some moderate studies and her natural intelligence she was able to scrape an Exceeds Exceptions which was decent enough considering.

xxxART~ Oxxx

■ Margaux has always presented herself as a designer and artist.
Fortunately for her she was accurate in this. Her great memory for former artists and her geometric and simply beautiful designs earned her an Outstanding score in Art.

xxxCURSEBREAKING ~ Oxxx

■ Marguax took the course out of practicality, much to her surprise she found it truly fascinating on how to disable spells on objects, even if it was only a teacup. If (not that it will) her passion as a jewelry designer does not work out, she would honestly consider being a cursebreaker. Even if the best cursebreaking jobs tended to be working for a bunch of goblins.

xxxASTRONOMY ~ Axxx

■ Margaux knew from the start this course was not all about pretty lights, romantic stories, and wonderful shapes. She did well enough on her OWLs and not terrible on her NEWTs, to be honest. But compared to her fellow NEWT students, most far more interested in the 'science' behind the sky above, she was a very average student. She could understand the more complex portions of the subject, but she wasn't interested enough to bother studying more than necessary not to fail.

xxxCHARMS ~ EExxx

■ An EE, Margaux debated whether she personally should feel ashamed of it. She was quite talented in metal charming and such, but with her intense load, goal to have a line ready soon after graduation, and running the language club, she may have lost time for studying that would have ensured she got the Outstanding she would have preferred.

xxxDEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS ~ EExxx

■ Margaux understood the importance of Defense Against the Dark Arts, as even without individuals like Voldemort active, the possibility remained. Margaux valued her independence and did not have patience for the possibility of those who might infringe on it. Margaux agrees she is no future Auror but she was confident she could hold her own in most duels if she must and was quite confident she did all that was needed to fairly earn her EE.

xxxHISTORY OF MAGIC ~ Axxx

■ Why was history so full of muggle, muggleborn, and peasant history? Everyone has their usefulness, Margaux supposed but she didn't understand why people would want to read or study about certain people. Learning about riches, jewels, political intrigue was far more interesting than reading about some serf more interested in where his next dinner was coming from. She did survive the class and learned enough to get an A. Thankfully enough rich dead people understood their lives were far more important to share with future generations.

xxxPOTIONS ~ Oxxx

■ Margaux's passions had always required talent in patience, memorization, and a bit of artistic genius. Potions was a subject that always aligned with the very traits she valued in herself. Knowing a well brewed potion was always useful, Margaux happily studied and worked hard to continue her high grades in this course. Her O she would say was "le résultat évident".

xxxTRANSFIGURATION ~ Oxxx

■ Margaux still sincerely enjoyed Transfiguration. In many ways it reminded her of both Alchemy and Cursebreaking, both electives she very much enjoyed. Her talent and dedication to her studies showed and she easily scored an Outstanding which she could hold her head high with her Outstanding in NEWT Transfiguration.

■ Margaux is a designer and artist of metals and fine jewels. She comes from a dynasty known for its talents in such. Would Margaux bring shame to the Lévesque Dynasty? How silly. That's why she has her cousin. Between natural talents, interest, her natural intelligence, and hard work Margaux was confident (and correct) she earned an O, she also assumes she was the top of her class in this field but proving that is a bit harder.

xxxARITHMANCY ~ Axxx

■ Margaux was talented in math and most subjects requiring patience and an eye for puzzles. Margaux would have likely done better on a physics exam at the end of the day because gravity she could believe in, but she had little faith in the power of the power of arithmancy to actually form accurate predictions. Margaux could believe in Seers, though generally not exact and thus useless, but felt arithmancy was an attempt to quantify the impossible.
Honestly, the only reason Margaux had continued after her OWLs was out of her amusement in the mathematical aspect of arithmancy. Her lack of interest in learning the importance of the value of numbers in arithmancy reflected in her response. If she would have been more open to learning something she did not necessarily believe in she would have scored at least an Exceeds Expectations or an Outstanding. Too bad that is not what she did and she will now have to settle at being scored as Average in a subject her vanity held her back in.

■ It was undeniable that Margaux was a talented artist and designer, but having ignored studying the greats of art history harmed the knowledge portion of her exam. Margaux's arrogance had gotten the better of her as she didn't see the need to differ if it was Frida Kahlo's work or Mary Cassatt's (though obviously she knew that one). Margaux supposed art was also a person's taste and metal work and sculpture often took a higher level intellect and taste to appreciate than a pretty flower painted on a canvas. She obviously will lie in conversation about her exam score in Art, but she is not ashamed enough to possibly forge it on job applications. Marguax did reluctantly admit she should have studied the technicality of all art history would have been in her favor.

xxxCURSEBREAKING ~ Oxxx

■ Margaux quickly had fell in love with cursebreaking, and as a fall back she felt she would be a very impressive cursebreaker though she'd rather work for herself as an antiquities dealer instead of working for goblins. Margaux is not just a pretty face, and she loved a good puzzle. Considering her family's plans for her future, Margaux is more than wistfully considering starting out as primarily an antiquities dealer. Old families always seemed to like adding curses to pieces that were wonderful enough on her own. Her quick puzzle solving skills, gift in transfiguration, and talent in Charms impressed the proctors. If Margaux had gotten less than the O she deserved, she fully intended to write to the ministry and board of governors while pulling her family name. Luckily for all (including her) that was not needed.
