To be a member of the Fire Bringers is to be a family. Traditionally, much of the pack were related, but with recent events, the pack is accepting new members at an unprecedented rate. You are fully expected to lay your life down for your new family, all members are seen as having intrinsic value. Community-oriented and not particularly individualistic, they thrive on teamwork. There is no Omega rank here, all wolves find a place, and all wolves have tasks. Traditionally, once you were assigned a role you kept it up until old age, but with recent events and Catch Fire taking leadership, previous traditions have become more lax, now allowing wolves to change their jobs if the reason seems sincere enough. Wolves with disabilities or the elderly are taken care of. They are still given tasks if they so choose to participate, and their opinions are heeded. So does the pack listen to the youth.

Chief, Augur and the First
The Chief, Augur and the First are the leadership of the pack; they govern in tandem, a triumvirate.
Chief Male lead of the pack. While decisions are made by all lead wolves, and sometimes the Maws, the Chief has the final say. He also leads the ascension trials for males wolves and they look to him for instruction in day to day chores and activities. The Chief has the final say in who can become a citizen of the Fire Bringers.
Augur Top Seer. She communes with the Flame, interpreting the future the spirit of fire reveals to her. With this knowledge, she informs the pack, and leads many cultural aspects of the Fire Bringers, including the ascension trials for female wolves, as well as birth and death ceremonies. Female wolves typically look to her for instruction.
First Ethereal born under Pyxis who is seen as the liaison of the Sacred Flame. An Ethereal brought the Flame from their homeland to the caverns the pack has occupied for generations due to the life-giving nature of the Flame. They are seen as something of a holy figure, at least greatly revered and honored. The First frequently works directly with the Augur, but largely have no due tasks aside their wisdom and are given free reign of the territory. Absent twice a year during the solstices to return to Irithyll. The First does not have to be the original. If you'd like to apply your Pyxis Ethereal they can be a newcomer if you so chose, just post below and we'll figure out how they work with the history of the pack from here forward. Not gender specific.

The Maw and Claws
The Maw and Claws of the Chief and Augur are essentially the Left and Right Hand of either leadership. The Maw are the advisers; in the case of the Augur, they are Seer-gifted apprentices who will take over when the Augur chooses to retire or tragedy befalls her. They are the mouth pieces of the Chief and Augur when either are not able to address the pack directly. They help make decisions and temper the Chief.
The Claws are the muscle. If something needs to get done the Chief cannot directly see to, the Claw is set to task. Sometimes this role and the Maw are one in the same, but often enough they are filled by separate individuals. They do the dirty work while also filling the role of bodyguard, especially in regard to the Augur. Aside from the Augur's Maw, these are not gender specific.

Warden of the the First
The Warden is the escort of the First. Since Ethereal live great lifespans, the Fire Bringer's have never needed a system of schooling and inheritance for the First as they've needed with their Chiefs and Augur, and as the First is expected to provide their own authority, an adviser seems redundant. The Warden acts as both a companion and a guard -although not seen particularly as one- and travels with the First back and forth between the Veil and the pack's location, meaning they are gone great lengths of time twice yearly. They go into Irithyll with their First.

Elder
Wolves well into seniority who are no longer required to keep up tasks. Their opinion is valued highly so they form a collective of advisories in addition to the Maws of the Chief and Augur.

Storytellers
They share stories and the history of the pack. They are entertainers, particularly essential for all times of year but especially ceremonies, holidays, and harsh blizzards that keep the pack quarantined in the caverns. The stories they tell can be anecdotal, fables, often proverbs, but also retellings actual historical events...with however much flare they desire thrown in. These are not gender specific.

Charges [females]
All adult female wolves are considered Charges. They are simultaneously wards of the pack, but are also charged with tasks that help the whole pack flourish. Gender does ultimately determine what your obligations are in the Fire Bringer pack. However, no task is seen as lesser or has more value than another. Female wolves are acolytes to the Augur. Their main goal is to keep the Sacred Flame blazing. All females gather tinder, with some whose task is strictly gathering firewood.
Kindling Gatherer This wolf's job is to gather kindling for the Sacred Flame while also carefully removing ash. They bring back as much small kindling, or large sticks of firewood as possible and add it to a stockpile within the caverns. They also help adolescent female wolves with their ascension into adulthood.
Teacher These wolves prioritize teaching adolescent females what it means to be a Fire Bringer. They are in charge of taking the pups on scouting, hunting, and tinder gathering missions.
Scout These wolves are tasked with scouting the pack territory, and are occasionally sent outside of marked land to spy on outsider packs.
Hunter Tasked with hunting for the pack. These wolves often team up with the male hunters in order to bring down bigger prey.

Charges [males]
All adult male wolves are considered Charges. They are simultaneously wards of the pack, but are also charged with tasks that help the whole pack flourish. Gender does ultimately determine what your obligations are in the Fire Bringer pack. However, no task is seen as lesser or has more value than another. All males watch the weather, with some whose task is strictly following storms.
Storm Chaser This wolf watches the sky as their primary job. They read the weather and follow storms. They are also are responsible for coordinating adolescent male wolves' ascension into adulthood.
Teacher These wolves prioritize teaching adolescent males what it means to be a Fire Bringer. They are in charge of taking the pups on scouting, hunting, and storm chasing missions.
Scout These wolves are tasked with scouting the pack territory, and are occasionally sent outside of marked land to spy on outsider packs.
Hunter Tasked with hunting for the pack. These wolves often team up with the female hunters in order to bring down bigger prey.

Top Ranks
Akin to management positions awarded to Bringers who excel in their field. They command those below them, but are also seen as yielding more responsibility and will be who the Maw or the Chief/Augur/First speak with directly. These are RP earned positions with requirements to be determined.

Apothecary
The pack's healer, usually only consisting of one wolf unless an apprentice is taken. They gather and mix herbs for healing and assist in whelping and cremation. They mix pigments made of ash and dirt that when undergoing the Ceremony of Sparks will then add the participants blood. They are also tasked with creating the concoction that will allow female wolves to take their test of ascension into adulthood. Not gender specific.

Nanny
The Nanny takes care of the pups under six months of age, usually assisting the mother, but in the case of orphans is the primary eye on the pups while the rest of the pack provides necessities. If the Apothecary and their apprentice are overwhelmed, the Nanny steps in to assist. If all three of them are overwhelmed, the whole pack will do what they can to mitigate damage and relieve suffering. Not gender specific.

Youth
Pups don't have any responsibilities aside from learning and growing. For the first six months they learn the basics of life; play, stories and traditions, and once that six months is hit, they are taken under the wing of the pack's teachers who start gradually taking what they know of the traditions and putting them to practical use. At one year of age your wolf will join the ranks of any
