Computer Generated Images. Its a form of Animation that uses Motion Capture which are collected from Optics.
For example, when Kristen Bell as Anna moves, the Cameras capture Kristen's Movement and transfers them to a computer where Anna's animation is shown.

With CGI, anyone can make an animation in just a couple of hours.
