▶ NO-NONSENSE — He isn't as straight-laced as he used to be, but Wolfgang is straightforward and serious when he had to. While his life has its own struggles, it never stopped him from moving forward and doing what needs to be done. Wolfgang also doesn't tolerate giving up easily and beating around the bush, and applies this to himself willingly, but the drawback was that he is pretty stubborn. Though it always made him feel content over the knowledge that he put a lot of effort to what his doing in everyday life, whether it's a success or not.
▶ INSIGHTFUL — Wolfgang is good at picking up things, quickly so. He knows what was up and usually, he is good at keeping up with the gossips and newspapers. In a way, he's dedicated in being caught up with the going-ons since he doesn't like being locked out the loops. Oftentimes, he has a deep understanding to people and doesn't dismiss their feelings, even if there are times that their feelings won't stop him from doing something necessary.
▶ CLEVER — While not a natural-born genius, Wolfgang is intelligent enough to do well in academics. But, he prides himself on being a street smart. It's hard to fool him and he had been through some situations enough to not be a victim of naivety. He is also pretty adept at persuading people that he can pretty much lie about himself, if he wants to. Wolfgang likes to do things that can challenge his mind which includes observing through the telescope, playing challenging piano pieces, and conceptualizing.
▶ TIGHT-LIPPED — Wolfgang, while he was nowadays willing to engage to social interaction, isn't one to talk too much about himself. At least openly. He is simply quiet due to his lack of interest and his distaste of noisy situations, but he does make an effort to small talk. However, Wolfgang just doesn't like talking too much about himself and if anything, he either omits or do white lies. It can end up being troublesome as it is hard to read him and people tend to be caught off-guard with what he says.
▶ SOCIABLE — He used to a really timid youngster who felt very uncomfortable at talking to people that it drove him to his comfort zone, but he has grown out of that shell after his years in Durmstrang and his time with his cousins. Wolfgang is quiet and usually doesn't have the interest of talking a lot about himself, but that doesn't mean that he isolates himself from people. In fact, he does small talks and actually enjoys social gatherings, in his own reserved way as a listener. Old habits die hard though, he still feels uncomfortable in social gatherings. But he tries.
▶ CARING — He may be serious, but Wolfgang doesn't fail to show that he deeply cares in his own stern way. Protective, even. He may be a bit distant to his peers in the past but once someone showed deep compassion to him in the long run, Wolfgang is one friend you can count on. He does his very best to understand people and does his best to be as honest as possible if they earned his trust.

▶ CHILDHOOD —
Wolfgang Deadman was the only child of Viola Schultz and Firmin Deadman, a result of a short-lived relationship and a fling. Viola decided to raise Wolfgang as she was a childless widow, and she always wanted to have a child on her own. Wolfgang's father, as much as he allowed his surname to be passed to Wolfgang, was (very) rarely ever in the picture. Viola's parents and brother Reinhard found it worrying about her raising a child on her own, but Viola wasn't bothered with it. Because of Viola's busy job as a witch watcher, Wolfgang usually stayed at home with a babysitter or preferably his uncle Reinhard's family home and potion shop, as they were more accepting than his grandparents. The grandparents were simply distant to Wolfgang at best, mainly because they were always busy in doing business trips... or that's what they claim. In truth, it was because they were upset that the child was born from a premarital affair, and as far they were concerned they assumed that the father was "hopeless". Also, Wolfgang and his cousins, Konrad, Susanna, and (later) Lorenz get along very well, to the point that he might as well be considered a sibling.
Wolfgang grew up with his magic kicking in early, but he also grew to hate being out in the burning sun and the fact that he was a pair of fangs. Viola, being perceptive, was worried about this and was beginning to realize that maybe his father wasn't as human as she thought he was. At age eleven, Wolfgang was reintroduced to his father Firmin and was given a wand as a gift. Then in that same night, he stumbled in a conversation of his parents, Viola expressing her concerns that her son's daily physical struggles was unusual- which was how he found out that Firmin was actually a vampire... which means that Wolfgang was half-vampire. It made a lot of sense, given that his daily experiences felt unusual compared to his cousins', but it still shook the young boy. A week later, he then asked his Uncle Reinhard about what he thought about vampires but regretted it after hearing that his uncle actually expressed fear towards vampires and werewolves, too. Wolfgang claimed that this didn't bother him and never told his mother about it. But by the time that he was going to Durmstrang, it was clear that this revelation affected him deeply for an eleven-year-old to handle.

▶ SCHOOL LIFE —

While they always hang out, Wolfgang was still a very timid student who only had a few friends in his year due to his need to not attract much attention. He was always occupied in playing a piano in solitude, but he was still very good in wandwork. Eventually, when Susanna proved that she won't shun him, Wolfgang confessed about his lineage. Thankfully, she was able to accept after she got over the shock stage, but it really didn't change Wolfgang's harsh opinion about himself.
At some point in his early school life Wolfgang met a student in his year named Rasmus Rehnquist, and they were quick friends due to their similar backgrounds. Then they ended up being close friends, to the point that Wolfgang felt it was right thing to do to entrust Rasmus with his secret. Eventually, Rasmus grew into an unpleasant vindictive person and Wolfgang had to act as a mediator, to the point that his other friends (including Susanna) became worried of his relationship with Rasmus. They were right, because Wolfgang grew weary of Rasmus and they ended up having fights.
At his fifth year, Wolfgang witnessed Rasmus (to put it lightly) harassing "his girlfriend" that he rushed in and stood up for her. It ended up with a duel that attracted a lot of students, and Rasmus lost. Unable to handle humiliation, Rasmus decided to destroy Wolfgang's confidence to fight back, by ratting his secret out to his other family. In front of Uncle Reinhard's face. As predicted, all the effort Wolfgang worked hard for was gone and there was intensity in the household. He was very aware that Uncle Reinhard and Lorenz didn't take the information so well that they and Wolfgang avoided each other. His mother, Konrad, and Susanna were trying so hard to dispel the tension that Wolfgang decided to accept that he was now hated, barely even at home in the holidays. Even his other friends' attempts to cheer him up didn't do matters since they had no idea what's going on, only that he was starting to have a strained family issue.
In his seventh year, Wolfgang and his uncle were helping to move Konrad's things for his new home during the holiday. It ended up with a tense atmosphere, resulting the former claiming that he won't be staying longer, feeling like he was sucking the happiness out of people. That was until an armed dark wizard broke into the house, committing robbery and attempted murder. Reinhard was very quick to fight off the wizard, but it went downhill. He was about to get the final blow when Wolfgang pushed his uncle out the way and didn't let the robber leave until the aurors arrive. It was a quite a violent fight, leaving Wolfgang in a critical condition. The dark wizard was apprehended in the end, but Reinhard felt guilty for letting his fear get in the way of how he saw his nephew. Especially when despite all of Wolfgang's resentment from the treatment he still went his way to take a spell shot without hesitation. As Wolfgang was recovering in the hospital, Reinhard and (eventually) Lorenz visited to apologize. The three of them began to reconcile, and things were positively becoming the way Wolfgang didn't expect. Wolfgang ended his final school feeling at ease, now that he was accepted for who he was in the Schultz family, much to his mother's happiness

▶ POST-GRADUATION —
Wolfgang wanted to become a teacher (in any subject, though he preferred Astronomy) but he had to be twenty-three years old to apply, so he decided to work in a career that involved doing what he loved. Though he tried to consider stable income, too, since he was trying to be as independent as possible. So, he decided to apply in a well-known observatory and began his work as an astronomer. Since the place also offers private tutoring, Wolfgang has been willing to tutor young students as much as he can. He still kept in touch with his family more often and made an effort to improve his social life in his workplace, and he initially found it weird about how peaceful his adult life was. It was the best life there was, as far as he was concerned.
The moment he hit twenty-three, he was considering teaching in Durmstrang. But he didn't feel like he was ready. Well, Wolfgang had considered it but the possibility of having to teach Rasmus' kids in his alma mater school ruled it out, as the latter became a parent three years ago. Which meant that he would have to deal with something related to the past again. There were also a series of events that he had to prioritize, too: The time Susanna's husband died during his line of work and he had to be there for his best cousin. He wasn't upset about it, Wolfgang thought that before becoming teaching, enjoying his life in his twenties is a better idea.
There came a time when Lorenz— who had visited the Welsh Dragon Sanctuary for a week— suggested Wolfgang that if he didn't want to teach in Durmstrang, he should try teaching in Hogwarts. He was willing to accept it and bid farewell to his family before traveling to the UK. Wolfgang then bought a nice house in Ireland and was on his way to take the opportunity of teaching the Astronomy class. At least the upperclassmen, anyway. His life in Hogwarts was mundane, if not a little bit uncomfortable due to the fact that he had a hard time connecting with people in the staff like a fish out of water. Two years later (2044) during his time in Hogwarts, he was offered the job to study in Beauxbatons and accepted it, teaching the subject he knows best. From then on he started teaching there for seven years, where he started to open up to staff people as well as students. He may have joked that it must be the warmer weather of Beauxbaton that did it. Nevertheless, his family was proud of him for trying new things.
Now that he had a great experience in Beauxbatons, he stopped teaching for a year as a way to take a break and learn about himself. He thought about giving Hogwarts another chance as well as how he wanted to try dipping his toes to a new environment, and that's why he is back teaching in Hogwarts once more.
