2021 Cosplay and Con plans

The year is half way gone and it's time to start making plans for next years con season.

What are your plans for next year.

That list is very ambitious. I hope that you get to do it. As for me my main convention is Youmacon. I would Love to go to Anime central. As for Cosplay outfits I'm on the fence about that right now.

It'll be ambitious for sure.

I have a large chunk of costumes mostly done:

Elsa: Partly sewn, need wig, shoes, and figure out make up.
Mario: Needs buttons
Peach: Mostly sewn. Need to do jewelry, style wig, and make up.
Sasori: Main part of the costume done + Wig. Need ring and shoes, Make up
Itachi: Main part of the costume don + Wig. Need ring, necklace, contacts, and shoes, Make-up
Gray: Have cape piece and shoes. Need pants, top, and wig.

All costumes have shoes figured out too. A couple have wigs done as well and underclothing is checked off as well.

I'm also not planing to have all of them done right away. I'm starting with the ones coming up and then working forward.

Here is the Costume plans for each con. Plans do change for photoshoots.

Radcon (All are done or partly done):
Friday: Princess Peach and Mario
Saturday: Eraserhead and Ms. Joke (AM), Frodo (PM)
Sunday: Either Charmy or Elsa

Sakura Con (If I go, Need to figure out by new years):
0-Day: Itachi or Sasori
Friday: Asirpa and Sugimoto
Saturday: Eraserhead and Miss Joke (AM), Charmy or Masked Figher Genkai (PM)
Sunday: Kokoro and Horohoro

Kuroneko Con:

What series and characters do you like a lot. Then imagine dressing up as one or more of the characters. At that point if you are not sure what to do next let us know. Please respond to this post with a list of the characters that you have an interest in. If you like the character or characters a lot I'm sure that you can make it interesting.

If it's an interesting armor, weapon, or prop of some sort I usually give it a gander.

What kind of weapons do you like?

Depends on a case to case basis. But mostly if it has a interesting design and hasn't already been overdone by plenty of other prop makers.

What kind of weapons have you created in the past and for what characters?

My first projects were keyblades as I made a few when I was really into kingdom hearts. The only one I still have left is the masters keeper for Master Eraqus.

Blake's Gambol Shroud from RWBY. But in hindsight, I can build it better now if I had to do it again. Gave this one away.

A generic katana blade based on commission.

Kirito's Dark Repulsor from SOA. Also in hindsight can build this one better now if I had to do it again.

Fayt's cover art sword from Star Ocean. Same as the previous hindsight.

Currently working on Ruby's Crescent Rose from RWBY. Went the extra mile in making this electro mechanical in which I already figured out the electrical portion and almost completely ironed out the structural design.

I like the RWBY series a lot and Ruby is my favorite character. I would really like to see Crescent Rose when it's finished. I know that our Vice Captain KayaLing would have an interest in keyblades.

One of my hopes was to someday recreate or at a low scale the keyblade graveyeard for a convention. But that would take way too much time and resources to build. A project like this would require lots of other peoples help.
