[TD: 8/6/20] Abyss (c) vs. Kevin Owens: TV Title

[The Hardcore Legend]

After retaining the Television Championship at Breaking Point against Daniel Bryan, and then defeating Rob Van Dam on WAR, The Monster, Abyss' confidence is at an all time high as tonight he will issue an open challenge to anyone in the CWF locker room to a match for his TV title, a personal request from Abyss, granted by the Authority.

 

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

The lights dim dark red and the sound of carnival music switching to heavy metal plays in the arena, and the crowd begins to boo mostly for the monster about to make his entrance. Abyss walks out, with his signature hood with a brownish vest over top of it. He stops at the top of the ramp, spreading his arms. A pyro goes off, scaring the crowd. Abyss starts walking down the ramp, with an intense and intimidating look on his face, being introduced.

Announcer: " Introducing at this time, standing 6'8... weighing in at 350 pounds, THE MONSTER, ABYSSSSSS!"



Abyss then pushes a cameraman's camera out of his way, and then walks past some of the fans at ringside, including kids who are frightened of the Monster, and walks up the steps and enters the ring. He walks to the opposite side of the ring and does his signature spread of the arms taunt, and starts pacing around the ring, keeping his hoodie and vest on for the moment. The lights go back to normal, his theme slowly fades, and the MONSTER stands in the ring, looking around at the fans, whipping his hair back. He proceeds to take his vest and hoodie off, throwing them to the outside.

 

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

After his entrance music faded and the lights returned to normal, Abyss takes his hood and vest off and gets a microphone from someone through the ropes and starts to speak, whipping his hair back as he puts the TV title over his shoulder. "At Breaking Point, I made easy work of your hero Daniel Bryan, and I wasnt even prepared for him! I made Daniel Bryan SUFFER, and then on WAR, I took out RVD, another one of you ignorant sheep's heros." The audience would boo Abyss as he looked around with disgust and spoke again. "So tonight, I issue a challenge to any of you in the back who wants to step up and be the hero, and make all of these backstabbing parasitic fans cheer for you as their next hero, only to get beaten down and sent home broken down and licking your wounds, I challenge anyone to a TV title defense right now!" Abyss would toss the mic outside and hands his title to the official and waits for whoever makes mistake of accepting the challenge of facing the 6 foot 8, 350 pound monster who is on a role.

 

[Kevin Steen]

The guitar intro of Kevin Owens theme song begins to play, getting a big applause from the audience! He walks out from backstage with a serious determined look on his face as he stops at the top of the ramp and stretches his neck and arms and stares down at the ring and at the crowd before making his way down towards the ring!



Announcer: "And his opponent, from Marieville, Quebec, Canada, weighing in at 265 pounds, KEVIN OOOOOOOWENS!!!!"



Walking down to the ring with intensity, Kevin Owens makes it to the ring, pacing up the steps and entering through the ropes, pacing around the ring, taunting and getting on the ropes and taunting to the crowd, before getting down and adjusting his taped wrists, always ready to bring the fight to anyone as his theme closes and he waits for what's next.

 

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss was shocked to see someone like Kevin Owen's accept his challenge as he whips his hair back showing a very surprised reaction, as he starts pulling at his hair but also was ready for the bell.  

[Kevin Steen]

Kevin Owens would demand a microphone and reaches through the ropes and grabs one from an assistant at ringside and walks right up to Abyss who was a bit taller than him, without fear. Kevin says "You want someone to fight ya for the TV title?..... I'll FIGHT ya.." Kevin drops the microphone and unloads right hands on Abyss!  

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss towered over Kevin Owens but then was met with a fury of right hand punches and he takes each one! The Monster stumbles backwards into the corner as the bell rings!  

[Kevin Steen]

Kevin would follow Abyss and goes for several backhand chops to Abyss chest once he backed into the corner!  

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss was chopped several times, standing in the corner reeling.  

[Kevin Steen]

Kevin walks away from Abyss, to the middle of the ring, and then turns around and runs at Abyss attempting a forearm smash in the corner!  

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss walks out of the corner and attempts to deliver a BIG BOOT to Kevin Owens instead!  

[Kevin Steen]

Kevin Owens was FLATTENED by the big boot from Abyss and goes down to the canvas, sitting up favoring his jaw.  

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss stumbles back and whips his hair back, catching his breath after the fire Kevin unleashed to start the match, as he picks Owens up and grabs his head with his left hand and throws a big right hand to his face!  

[Kevin Steen]

Kevin was struck with a big right hand from someone with heavy a** giant fists like Abyss and he stumbles hard into the corner.  

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss follows Kevin into the corner and looks to go for more heavy right hands until he makes Kevin fall to a seated position.
