xxxASTRONOMY ~ Oxxx
- ■ Astronomy was important, there was so much that relied on how the stars aligned and where planets were and how crops would do. Of course Yukon knew where the planets were and the moons of them. They were essential. He wrote an essay about Mars, he hoped he could go and plant potatoes on it and as such had done quite a bit of research about it, of course, no mars potatoes yet.
xxxCHARMS ~ Axxx
- ■ xYukon knew the cheering charm, he knew the words for some spells, but he just wasn’t that great at casting the spells. He especially was bad at the levitation spell, why make things float when you could make them bury themselves into the ground? He did okay, but was not that impressive. He managed to pass, but didn’t manage to get a high enough score to continue, oh well.
xxxDEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS ~ Txxx
- ■ Why would Yukon try to aim for others, and why would he go into an area with Dark Arts, no thanks. Why throw objects with a spell, when you could throw a potato? He then had a break down when the boggart appeared, it transformed into a sack of rotten potatoes, that sack was going to ruin all the potatoes. Then, he saw Aria and Weslyn and Kenny dead, from eating the potatoes. He was to blame because of those rotten potatoes. He was sent out and to the hospital wing. Potatoes were his love and his fear.
xxxHERBOLOGY ~ Oxxx
- ■ Yukon had grown up at a farm, he had grown in Hogwarts with Herbology club, if he did poorly on the herbology exam he would never forgive himself. Although, he did have a difference of opinion, when a value plant option was not the potato, it was very valuable! However, he did wonderful and got close to perfect on the Herbology exam, he would have to celebrate with the potatoes later.
xxxHISTORY OF MAGIC ~ Pxxx
- ■ History. Was. boring. He didn’t care much for the class, but of course he knew SOME history, he didn’t slack off all the time in class, just sometimes class was better used for other thoughts. The founders of Hogwarts? Why not the founders of potato products. Who even knew the things the founders left? That would be useless to know. Deathly hallows? What about potato plagues. Overall, poorly done Yukon. xx
xxxPOTIONS ~ Oxxx
- ■ Potions were useful, so Yukon put effort into learning baout them. He could work with potations at home, get one to help protect the plants, yes he actually studied for a class. He really liked the amortentia, what wasn’t amazing about a potion to deal with love. The boil cure potion was also nifty, sure he didn’t need it for potatoes, but what if this potion could be the beginning of curing rotten spots on potatoes?!
xxxTRANSFIGURATION ~ Txxx
- ■ Transfiguration wasn’t too friendly, you weren’t taught to transform potatoes into objects or objects into potatoes. Why bother? During his years of transfiguration whenever something would transfigure it would really just turn more into a lump, Yukon was impressed, the teachers not so much. When asked to vanish a kitten, Yukon cast the spell, and the kitten stayed there, but was slightly covered in dirt, camouflaged kitten did not earn Yukon a passing grade.

xxxART ~ Axxx
- ■ Yukon had never been great at Art, he wasn’t terrible, but he was no Kenny. Sure he could mix a few colors, but he could in no way make something that looked like art. He knew the theory, but that was about it. Even worse, he couldn’t enchant the picture to life. Oh well, maybe he would take his potato painting to Kenny, and see what the kid could do to it.
xxxMUGGLE STUDIES ~ Oxxx
- ■ Yukon was half muggle, he grew on a farm with minimal magic, of course he knew the muggle studies course. He had taken it for an easy passing grade, and he was not surprised by how easy the course was. How to use a toaster? He had been toasting bread since he could reach the counter. It was a breeze of ease.
xxxSTUDY OF ANCIENT RUNES ~ Txxx
- ■ Yukon wasn’t sure why he had taken Ancient runes, he wasn’t good at them, at all. He had never quite understood the course, and it was further proven when he failed the OWL gloriously so, did he even get a single question right? Probably not. Oh well, he hadn’t put too much effort into studying, what was the point if he knew he wasn’t going to continue it.
xxxWIZARD LAW ~ Pxxx
- ■ Yukon had hoped that Wizard Law would involve some more interesting things. However, there wasn’t much coverage on the laws of gardening so what was the point. He knew the trace age broke at 17, he knew things about hiding from muggles, and yet, he wrote his essay on illegal owning of potatoes, not a magical object. He obviously failed.
