Super Spacial Double Dare was short lived in 1992 as it only aired two episodes. The first being an NBA All-Star Edition & the other had TV Guest Stars. The only Episode to have the Obstacle Course being completed was the NBA one. I almost forgot to mention the Super Special incarnation version as well.

The gameplay of Super Special Double Dare is the same but all Obstacle Course Segments contained a Bonus Cash Prize in addition to a Prize:
Segments 1-2 had a $25 Bonus
Segments 3-4 had a $50 Bonus
Segments 5-7 had a $100 Bonus
Segment 8 had a $250 Bonus

In the Sneak Preview of Super Sloppy Double Dare during the Super Bowl, the Obstacle Course Segments had a $500 Cash Bonus Prize for each Obstacle Course segment that was completed leading to a Grand Total of $4,000.

The only Episode to have the Obstacle Course being completed with the $500 Cash Bonus Feature was the Slime Bowl Preview.

The 2018 & 2019 Reboots also had a Cash Bonus for their Tournament Specials, with each Obstacle Course segment being worth $1,000 for each Obstacle Course segment that was completed & when all 8 segments were completed that Cash Bonus total is automatically brought up to the Grand Prize being worth $10,000.

Sometimes, on Double Dare, there would be a toy rowboat shown.

Cute! I love rubber ducks!

I couldn't find a Toy rowboat with a man in it paddling. But that scene was shown in The Tank, the Slime Canal & Blue Plate Special of the Obstacle Course.

During Double Dare's peek, there was merchandise to be shown such as:
= Home Version Board Games
= Question Booklets
= Puzzles
= Videos
= Tiger Electronics
= Lunchboxes
= DOS Computer Game
and even the NES Video Game

There was also international versions of Double Dare such as the England, Australia, Holland, Germany & French Canadian Versions.

Over the years, Double Dare did several themes such as Holidays, a 3D Episode, Tributes, and more. There was one episode which asked the question:
"What would it be like if the Host & Announcer played the game alongside the contestants"?
So they made an episode with that by bringing in a Late Night Talk Show & Hollywood Squares Host to guest host the game. At the end of the Game, the Host of Double Dare won the game and both the Announcer & Host ran the Obstacle Course.

There was one Episode where WWE Superstars Bobby the Brains & Gorilla Monsoon were shown on Double Dare's Super Slopamania 1. Super Slopamania 1 was the only WWE Double Dare episode to have all 8 prizes from the Obstacle Course to be won.

During production, Double Dare had 4 shows taped a day for 5 days a week. Along with Harvey & Doc Holiday in the original incarnations, there were 2 other people in that show; Dave & Robin. They're ones who bring out the props, assist the players and act as spotters on the Obstacle Course.

When Double Dare was first filmed, it was at WHYY Philadelphia. They moved to New York for short while then back to Philadelphia & finally, at the Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, Florida.

This means when you visit the Universal Studios Theme Park back in 1990 to 2004, you could come see Double Dare in person along with its Obstacle Course in person and even audition to be on the show.

But not everyone could come to see Double Dare in person. So, they decided to come and see the public.

The Double Dare Road Show did a show in Central Park once that drew 10,000 people.

There's 7 incarnations of the Double Dare Road Trips:
Super Sloppy Double Dare Live Tour 1989
Double Dare Road Show 1990
Double Dare Live Tour 1993
Family Double Dare Live Tour 1994
Family Double Dare Live Tour 1995
Double Dare LIVE 2016
Double Dare LIVE Reboot 2018

From 1986-1990, Double Dare had a great announcer. He was formerly a Morning Radio Personality in Philadelphia for years and that person was Harvey. In 1992, Doc Holiday took over as the Announcer. Doc Holiday was also a morning Radio Personality, but in Florida

Double Dare did not only change how Children's TV was done, but also added a new phrase to our language since they receive tons of fan mail every month. One such letter was from a College Teacher who was discussing a science project during School Hours & when he asked one of the students came to his conclusion, the student said: "I'd rather take the Psychical Challenge".

Psychical Challenges is what a team has to take if that team doesn't know the answer to a question. When Double Dare began, some were simple such as filling a cup filled with whipped cream past the red line, keeping rubber ducks submerged in a tub of water, but today, that's become more fun with each incarnation & one thing to note about this is that people on the show like to get all messy.

In the 7 Incarnations of Double Dare, they asked over 10,000 Questions, done over 7,000 Psychical Challenges, but the part everyone remembers the most is the Obstacle Course. The Obstacle Course all takes place center stage, sometimes its called the "Messiest Moment in Television", just to name a few and it always begins like this:

It makes everyone happy watching 2 or 4 people of a team winning all 8 Prizes in the Obstacle Course & Double Dare had its share of those moments.

As Double Dare grew, people from around the world did their own versions in Australia, England, Holland & Germany, just to name a few. These versions were done in French Canadian, Dutch, British & German, just to name a few.

Which team would the avatar play on, Red or Blue?

What Team Name would the avatar choose?

Throughout Double Dare's Incarnations, there was a total of 137 Victories on the Obstacle Course that I found.

Classic from 1986-1988 has 59 Victories
2 Fouls on the Psychical Challenges = which was Frantic Furors vs Vultures from 1987, Paces vs Salt & Pepper from 1988
1 Raw = which was Sigh Guys vs Two Amigos from 1987
3 with Low Sounds = The Jello Swirl Pops vs The Big Toes, The Pasta People vs. Ro Jo's & The Public Enemies vs. The Gooberoids from 1988

Super Sloppy from 1987-1989 has 28 Victories
1 Foul = which was WWE Super Slop-a-Mania 1 but all 8 Prizes was won
2 Raw = Slime Bowl from 1989 which was Sneak Preview with Washington Team vs Giants & Tubbs vs. Crocketts in 1987

Fox Family from 1988 has only 5 Victories

Nickelodeon Family has 20 Victories

Super Special has only 1 Victory which was the NBA All-Star Edition

2000 has 13 Victories

Reboot from 2018-2019 has only 11 Victories

On my Posted: Thu Dec 31, 2020 3:51 am Post, when I mentioned:
"The 2018 & 2019 Reboots also had a Cash Bonus for their Tournament Specials, with each Obstacle Course segment being worth $1,000 for each Obstacle Course segment that was completed & when all 8 segments were completed that Cash Bonus total is automatically brought up to the Grand Prize being worth $10,000."

It appears that I made a slight error in memory:
The $1,000 Cash Prizes in the Double Dare 2018 & 2019 Reboot Tournament Specials' Obstacle Course Segments & when all 8 segments are completed, that total would be automatically brought up to $10,000 was during the Tournament Finals.
However, before the Tournament Specials' Finals, each Obstacle Course segment being worth $500 for each Obstacle Course segment that was completed & when all 8 segments were completed that Cash Bonus total is automatically brought up to the Grand Prize being worth $5,000.

There was another Cash Bonus Prize in Double Dare 2018 which was during the Kenan & Kel Reunion Special. After the Champion Team was unable to win all 8 Prizes in the Obstacle Course, Kenan & Kel ran the Double Dare Obstacle Course, as each Obstacle Course segment completed was worth $2,000 for Kenan & Kel each equaling to $4,000 for each Obstacle Course segment leading to a Grand Total of $32,000 overall.

I'm sorry that I overlooked this information.

I hope to tell you about Double Dare's history such as Marc Summers Audition as the Host from 1986 to 1993 along with the First Version of Double Dare when it recorded a Pilot for Test Marketing in May 1986 before it went on the air in October 6, 1986.

Double Dare also had an unreleased that never aired episode being the Old Times Theme in 1990 where the show's staff & cast go head to head in a Double Dare game for fun to celebrate all they've achieved.

The only difference is that after 60 Seconds passed in the Obstacle Course, the Obstacle Course would continue until completion. Some of the Questions were about Double Dare's History from 1986 to 1993.

Double Dare's Classic Incarnations: Original, Super Sloppy, Fox Family, Nickelodeon Family & Super Special, was on Reruns until 1999, then again in Nick GAS from 1999 to 2007.

During Double Dare 2000, the show had a total of 33 Triple Dare Challenge Episodes.
