There are things that go bump in the night, even on Pern. While Pern isn't known to believe in ghosts, and zombies aren't much of a thing on a planet where they're not known for burying the dead, there are still stories meant to frighten Littles, or keep Holders and Crafters on the edge of their seats. Riders sometimes talk about what happens beyond Between, and the dead are honored through tales crafted by Harpers and stories shared over the Turns.
