Determined Cheerful Insecure
• Adventurous thanks primarily to his friendship with Sora. His best friend makes him feel braver, more daring.
• Determined; Masaaki tries hard at everything he does, even if he won't be successful at a lot of it.
• Loves to play around, joke around with his friend and showing off his gaming collection and skill. Proud of it, but not too boastful. He's definite a little goofball a lot of the time.
• Big gamer, plays for hours until the sun rises, losing track of time. Sometimes passes out with the handheld on his face mid gaming.
• Loves to nap, just curls up in a nice comfy spot like a cat in the sun, with his arms wrapped around a big pillow or blanket or plush and just pass out.
• Has a guilty pleasure for cute things, collectible items, but mostly cute things like plushies or phone charms.
• Insecure, not so great in confrontational situations, they make him more nervous and anxious, which makes it hard not to clam up or run away. Not an assertive person, though if he has some opinion on the situation he will try to speak his mind.
▊ ＢＩＯＧＲＡＰＨＹ
• Born premature, he’s got a weak immune system, also chronic asthma.
• If he gets panicked or over-excited, will most often develop a wheeze from expending too much energy or stressing out. His inhaler is always on hand.
• Grew up a happy child regardless of any limitations, always a cheeky, playful sort.
• Family owns and runs a bakery, which he loves since he has a big sweet tooth. Often has a bag of candy like twizzlers stashed in the pockets of his coat or hoodie, or some other treat.
• Was bullied often growing up for seeming weak and for liking 'girly' things, or for seeming like a nerd. He met his best friend during an incident, some boys tried to beat him up in the locker room when Sora chased them off.
• Stuck up for Sora with the school administration when they suspended him for going after the bullies. He vouched that Sora was just helping him. Approached him when he came back to school and brought him a pastry from his parents' bakery, though it took some time to bond.
• Masaaki was excited to bond over video games especially with Sora, nerding out on all things gamer. Was anxious when Sora tried to get him to skip school to go to a convention.
• Sora's always coaxing him into some shenanigans; whether that be skipping class to go to a convention or gaming tournament or even the arcade. He's always nervous about them getting caught and getting into trouble, though a lot of the panic and fear has lessened some whenever he's with Sora.
• His best friend, Sora has always watched out for him since middle school, like a big brother. Even has entrusted him with carrying around one of Masaaki's spare inhalers in case something goes wrong with his or they go missing.
• Masaaki's parents love having Sora around, hanging out with their son, having sleepovers when they were kids or letting them hang out after school. They love seeing their son being more adventurous, getting out of the house rather then staying inside with his games all day.
▊ ＧＯＡＬＳ
Masaaki wants to get into a really good tech college, or someplace with a great graphics or computer course. He wants to design and make video games.

Soul Stone Theme: What your character holds dear to their heart is the theme to unlocking their soul stone. It could be a virtue, emotion, moral or evil motif. Once a vessel unlocks their Master skill level, they will have the ability to use the same novice spells as their counterpart.
∴ Soul Bond ● ○ ○ [Novice]
Unlocked when a relationship garnering at least ★★. The vessel and mage are friends, have spent time together and allot a light amount of trust. The capability of a novice bond allows the Mage access to the Vessel's mana pool and the Vessel immunity to the Mage's Novice abilities. Immunity can be seen as no damage being taken from attacks and the ability to freely pass and penetrate magical defense as if they weren't there. In your profile thread, mention the name of each Mage your Vessel has discovered a bond with.
∴ Introspect ● ● ○ [Expert]
To unlock, the vessel must have a relationship with a mage garnering at least ★★★★, the vessel has shared personal feelings and has had a Mage draw mana from their soul tone. This partially unlocks the soul stone, allowing the vessel access to their own mana. Now, the Vessel has the capability to "Introspect," with a Mage, Human or another Vessel by physically touching. Through passive and dormant mana, Vessels are able to let their soul reach out to seize a part of the consciousness to exchange memories and feelings. These memories and feelings can not be falsified and are experienced from a first person point of view. Extended Memory Example Romantic Example

The ultimate connection between a Vessel and Mage requiring a full ★★★★★ relationship; Fusion. Mana pours from the Mage, uniting, altering and unlocking the Vessel's crystalline soul. The lonely feeling of isolation is lifted from the Vessel as a piece of them transfers to the Mage. They are always connected and can Introspect with one another at any time across a distance. Their minds and hearts are forever connected and never alone. The Vessel can only fuse with one Mage. Their bond will materialize a combination weapon. This weapon will be of the Vessel's creation combining the theme of their soul stone with the Mage's magic theme. The weapon must be designed to have two pieces that can unite to empower all Mage Spells. Only the vessel and mage may use the weapon. Weapon Example. Once the fusion is completed, the Vessel's soul stone is completely unlocked allowing Mana to flow freely through their body. They are safe from being consumed by an Empyrean and can now use their counterpart's novice spells.
