Kasai doesn't like to be told what to do, doesn't like to be pushed around, or bullied. He can't stand bullies, they set his temper off. He's a sociable kinda guy, pretty cheeky, sometimes flirtatious when interest sparks. Always getting into some kind of trouble, some shenanigans or pranks. Generally very protective in nature, when he cares for someone, he really shows it. He will have your back, fighting tooth and nail.

❱❱ PRE-GATE ∴ Three years old when his little brother is born, Kasai was always watching out for him after that. His family wasn't the best as far as caring goes. After some incidents, they'd been sent to live with some guy they were just told was an uncle. He wasn't any better, pushing them around all the time.
❱❱ SKY ASUNDER ∴ Running from the house as their 'uncle' raged, Kasai and his little brother were hiding out, or camping out where they couldn't be found. Trying to keep his little brother warm, when they saw the sky split open, somehow, suddenly, they weren't very cold after.
❱❱ MAGE HUNT ∴ That b*****d, he'd hurt his brother, that slime. Kasai had come home from school, late since he'd had baseball practice. He'd found his little brother in tears, bruised and battered. That creep had attacked him. Rushing him to the doctor's, Kasai had left him there and called the police on his way back to the house. He hadn't waited for them, and attacked their 'uncle.' Of course the man was bigger then him and hit back, and even though Kasai was winded and bruised, he raged and fought back. Next thing he knew, the house was up in flames, the b*****d trapped inside where he'd left him.
❱❱ ATOMIC PRISON ∴ After being collected by UDA, Kasai found that his little brother hadn't been taken in too. For some reason, he was the one that they deemed 'normal,' somehow his little brother hadn't gained any weird...powers like Kasai had. So that was the last he'd gotten to see of him, he didn't even know where or with who his little brother was sent off to live with. Riled up, Kasai threw a tantrum for days, trapped in some little room, and banging on the walls and door. Fire flaring up from him from his anger. When he finally settled down, they went about all their poking, prodding, and testing. Noting that other then through his anger, Kasai couldn't really focus enough to conjure up the flames otherwise. One of the scientists gave him a lighter, telling him to use it as a focal point, like a medium for him to train his abilities with. He learned to generate the flames in his hands from using that lighter, until he could do it without. Brought out with agents from time to time to utilize his skill. Otherwise, he generally felt trapped...like some trained lab rat of theirs. His brother was always on his mind as well, having no idea what had happened to him since.
❱❱ TRANSFER STUDENTS ∴ Kasai had been cooped up in another facility of another region and town. When he heard about this whole Shiri thing, with the mages in that facility being able to attend school, having some semblance of freedom. From that moment, he caused as much trouble as he could at his current facility, until they gave in to his 'tantrums' and sent him to the other facility. Deeming him their problem child, he was hoisted off to the hands of the director and some scientist, Yokyrie. A weird bunch, was his first impression. After a few days in seclusion, until they deemed him not a liability, Kasai was finally allowed out.
❱❱ CURRENT ∴

Sweet, sweet freedom, though he was still under UDA's thumb, Kasai was so relieved to finally be allowed some sort of freedom. Having heard a little about the other UDA mages, and some previous incident that went on with an Empyrean. He wanted to meet the group that took down one of those creatures. Kasai missed the camping trip, since he was being confined at the time. Now, the world was his oyster, so to speak, he ran out to go wander for a bit.

He can summon small fireballs in his hands, about the size of baseballs. Similar in appearance to the flame of a lighter, when you flick it on. He can throw them at enemies in attempts to burn them or at least singe them.

More of a defensive, or just a very passive spell. Kasai can spread the warmth from his body to those closest in proximity to him, roughly about the space of a small room, like a 5x10 storage room or closet. Especially if there's no wood or anything that he could just chuck a fireball at to light, and conditions are particularly cold, he can keep those others warm if they huddle close. Like conjuring a warming bubble.

Able to manipulate other fires, outside of his own that he can conjure. Say like manipulating the flames of a fire place, campfire, stovetop, anything like that. He can make it flare up more, or send it spitting from its source at someone in attack. Or just for simple reasons like making a fire warmer or stronger, for example if it's cold.

A violent and chaotic spell, Kasai can conjure up one big twister of flame that'll swirl around and blaze over whatever in its path, or he can break it up and make a few smaller ones about a 5x5 height and send them at any targets.

His body becomes engulfed in flame a blue, super heated flame. So that he IS the weapon, and can attack, punch, kick as a pure flame. Setting things on fire, trying to turn them to ash, any enemies.

∴ Volcanic Quake ● ● ● [Master Spell]
As if he's tapping into the core of the Earth's molten rock, Kasai can cause something akin to a volcanic eruption. A ground shaking, lava spitting attack that just about nukes at high heats and fire, whatever is in his range. About 20 feet around him. ---- The ultimate attack that can have affect on an entire area, engulfing it fully in destruction or protection. This move is the powerhouse and is only used in times of extreme stress when the Mage sees no other option. A new master will pass-out after use of the skill. With practice or connection to a vessel, the Mage can sustain themselves.
