❱❱ PRE-GATE ∴ Cyrus's origins were built on a shaky foundation right from the start; Greta Jeager his mother was a German-born woman who had been working as a translator and personal assistant for Yukiri Hoshu, heir to the prominent Hoshu Industries, a rather large and influential company, the two worked together closely and Yukiri seduced the women and slept with her before acting as if nothing would happen. When Greta found out she was pregnant Yukiri coldly fired her on the spot and rejected her, telling her to leave and never return; devastated and ashamed she sold her assets both in Germany and in Japan and moved to warm and sunny Spain where she tried to start anew to raise her son.

❱❱ SKY ASUNDER ∴ Life wasn't the best for the two; Greta loved her child and always made time for him, but she was working two jobs to support them both, and oftentimes there wasn't always enough to eat or enough money to pay the bills and Cyrus would sometimes catch his mother crying in despair. So he did what he could to make her laugh and smile; he'd tell jokes, dance, hug and kiss her and tell her how much he loved her or bring her a bouquet of wildflowers, anything to put a smile back on his mothers face.

News about the sky being torn asunder was all over the news, it was a terrifying thing to hear about but other then that, Cyrus's childhood was normal but then his mother during a routine test received devastating news, she had stage three cervical cancer; unable to work and the cost of treatment piling up, Greta reached out to Yukiri's family for the first time in years for help looking after her son and covering them financially; she had not asked anything from Yukiri since he left her pregnant, but if she did nothing her child would be taken away without seeing his other family.

❱❱ MAGE HUNT ∴ It turned out that Yukiri had actually died in a huge pile-up a couple of years prior to Greta getting in contact, so she wound up speaking to Kazuo Hoshu, Yukiri's father and Cyrus's paternal grandfather; after hearing the women's story he was, rightfully sceptical and asked for a DNA test to confirm Greta's claims; he promised that if her claim was true he would do all he could to help Greta and her son.

It only took a week to get the results, which came back that he did indeed share DNA with Yukiri making him his son, upon hearing this Kazuo deeply apologized to them both for being abandoned as they were and promised on his honor that they'd be taken care of in Japan; he made arrangements and paid for everything; for Greta to receive the best treatment money could buy for her cancer and Cyrus was sent to an esteemed school.

❱❱ ATOMIC PRISON ∴ Sadly less than a year later his mother passed away from cancer her, body too weak and frail to continue the chemotherapy and in her will, she handed over all her assets to her son when he was of age and that Kazou would be his parental guardian with her passing. Cyrus during this time had been struggling to fit in at school, though he could speak Japanese well he had a telling accent, that along with his brown hair, green eyes, and tanned skin gave him away as a foreigner and he struggled to make any real friends at the school; those that tried usually only wanted to mooch off of him because they were aware of his connection to his grandfather and thus the company.

❱❱ TRANSFER STUDENTS ∴
Feeling lonely, unhappy, and starved of any sort of love or affection he felt he needed he outright begged his grandfather to transfer him somewhere much quieter and where his grandfather's influence wouldn't be well known; His grandfather could see how unhappy the other was and agreed, referring him to the city of Ohira and its highschool he made arrangements for the other to live in the school dorms, his payment doe schooling and his stay at the dorms would be paid for and he's received a fortnightly stipend of 6500 yen to cover lunches, money for clubs and anything he wanted to buy personally.

❱❱ CURRENT ∴ Currently Cyrus has only been in the city and at the new school for a few months and still finds it hard to fit in and doesn't have that many actual friends but he's found a place in the school's archery club and he's found things that he's truly passionate about which helps fill in the void he often feels.

Unlocked when a relationship garnering at least ★★. The vessel and mage are friends, have spent time together and allot a light amount of trust. The capability of a novice bond allows the Mage access to the Vessel's mana pool and the Vessel immunity to the Mage's Novice abilities. Immunity can be seen as no damage being taken from attacks and the ability to freely pass and penetrate magical defense as if they weren't there. In your profile thread, mention the name of each Mage your Vessel has discovered a bond with.

To unlock, the vessel must have a relationship with a mage garnering at least ★★★★, the vessel has shared personal feelings and has had a Mage draw mana from their soul tone. This partially unlocks the soul stone, allowing the vessel access to their own mana. Now, the Vessel has the capability to "Introspect," with a Mage, Human or another Vessel by physically touching. Through passive and dormant mana, Vessels are able to let their soul reach out to seize a part of the consciousness to exchange memories and feelings. The ultimate connection between a Vessel and Mage requiring a full ★★★★★ relationship; Fusion. Mana pours from the Mage, uniting, altering and unlocking the Vessel's crystalline soul. The lonely feeling of isolation is lifted from the Vessel as a piece of them transfers to the Mage. They are always connected and can Introspect with one another at any time across a distance. Their minds and hearts are forever connected and never alone. The Vessel can only fuse with one Mage. Their bond will materialize a combination weapon. This weapon will be of the Vessel's creation combining the theme of their soul stone with the Mage's magic theme. The weapon must be designed to have two pieces that can unite to empower all Mage Spells. Only the vessel and mage may use the weapon. Weapon Example. Once the fusion is completed, the Vessel's soul stone is completely unlocked allowing Mana to flow freely through their body. They are safe from being consumed by an Empyrean and can now use their counterpart's novice spells.
