Yua Arashi was in a crisis of a circumstance that at a later point was likely going to truly crush her, she had been weak and unable to fend of the mental control that the call had on so many Yokai. Yua was standing with the wrong side and she had no say in the matter, she escape from the home she saw as the place she belonged to opposed the country that it was a part of and her mind was clouded and saw this as the RIGHT thing to do. The majority of her kin here were Tengu and Oni and those are who she stood with as the force lined up in, anticipation and near impatience as a result of the mind control plaguing her and many others who awaited the generals command. The ones to make the first move in this whole ordeal was actually the defending forces of the shinobi, their gates suddenly swinging open and the shinobi forces pouring out, led by their general at the front, an imposing sight to behold and one which caught the Samurai ranks off-guard, making them sluggish in beginning the counter charge.
Blunting the Shinobis brave and pre-emptive charge was the first tactic Yua utilized, bringing her hands together and performing quick series of signs, lifting her hands in the air before her after she completed the hand movements, water forming in front of her in a rapidly growing vortex of water that explode upward before failing swiftly onto its side with menacing implications. Yua swung her arms downward as the spinning torrent would be sent hurtling toward the shinobi forces, shredding and carrying everything between her technique and them up and out of the ground and into the maelstrom of the freezing cold liquid, those unfortunate to be directly caught by the technique would be lucky to continue this fight if not possibly killed as it carried with it a lot of destructive power. As she did this something within her screamed, a part of her aware of her wrongdoing through the fuge but unable to do anything to prevent it, flicking her wrists in the direction of a few shinobi whom had avoided the massive vortex of water, spear of ice tearing up and out of the sitting water sudden and sharp, catching a couple of them suddenly and scattering the others, other Yokai from her mind-controlled divisions going after those shinobi, leaving Yua to continue walking toward the fortress through the combat, the water from her previous water Jutsu creating Several inches of water across the entire battle, more deep in lower/pitted locations, The water froze around where her feet lifted out the water to step, a cold mist raising across the battlefield, one that could almost be called refreshingly chilling in the heat of a battlefield.

Great Typhoon Technique [ Idaina Kamikaze no Jutsu ] | Rank S A Jutsu which creates a huge cyclone turned on its side, which is sent toward the opponent or group of opponents. This technique creates its own massive body of water and is devastatingly powerful, both in the force with which it strikes and with its tendency to catch people and objects and slam them into other objects. It can easily rip large trees and masses of rock from the earth. The water that remains from the devastation can flood an entire topic with up to five feet of water.
Certain-Kill Ice Spears [ Hissatsu Hyōsō ] | Rank B The user forms their hand signs, summoning thirty spikes of ice that measure one foot in width and ten feet in height. These icy spikes erupt from the ground at the user's desired location within forty feet of themselves, or from any of the user's Ice. If this technique impales a targets body, that part of the body is subject to tier 1 paralysis, treating techniques as one rank lower and armor as one tier lower.

▱▰▱The clashing of steel could be heard ringing from the powerful swings of ethereal spirit swords. A red katana sparked on contact with Kenshin's blue rapier. This occurred as a knight wielding a foil of his own mirrored Kenshin's movements and slammed into the katana of the red samurai warrior spirit. "How dare you sully our sacred art, shinobi?!" The general's ire was inconsolable as he unleashed a chakra wave from his katana to blast Kenshin and his spirit sentinel back (S-Rank spiritual).
The little ball of lightning that was the Mouseketeer crashed into and electrocuted a dozen samurai into unconsciousness. The waves of electricity flowed over the heavy iron armor and singed the skin within as they collapsed. Three samurai stopped and slashed their katanas in front of themselves. They applied chakra to their blades as chakra swords were projected toward Cashew, energy leaving the steel. These chakra blades created a forceful disruption that may have caused Cashew to fall or stumble. A fourth performance of the samurai saber technique would be sent toward Cashew by a straggler warrior.
The Hyuga guards and lightning imperial soldiers parted around the edges of Nami's massive pearly shell to prevent their injury. When the defensive dome was fully formed, an officer in command of the archers barked. "Bring down the shell!" Fourteen archers took to their knees to fire their massive longbows that were the same size as their own bodies. The arrows were two feet long and enhanced with chakra. "Knock!" The officer yelled as his eyes narrowed on the sea enchantress's elegant white crystals. The arrows were enhanced and placed against the string. "Draw!" The bowmen pulled the arrows back for maximum tension in their massive bows. "Loose!" Two dozen arrows all flew through the air with the united fury of a god directly toward the dome. The officer then manned a trebuchet which he loaded with mortar before launching it with even greater force toward the top of the turtle shell.
The horde of samurai and yokai continued their advance and violently clashed with the imperial soldiers and hyuga clan guards. Hotaru and Seo would likely feel at home on the walls with the sky guards who all shared the all-seeing white eyes. Their presence on the wall was somewhat natural and largely unquestioned due to this despite not wearing the sky guard uniforms.
When Suga charged in she would not reach the primary battalion of samurai soldiers before three yuki-onna appeared. They blocked her path as one formed long ice claws over her fingernails and lunged at Suga. After that, the second yokai breathed a powerful gust of winter toward her. The third and final pale woman screeched before unleashing a dozen icicles toward Suga. All three attacks would barrel toward Suga simultaneously. Their very presence caused the temperature to drop to below freezing in the immediate area.
A jonin imperial lightning officer stopped before firing a bolt of lightning at the torrent of water and icicles conjured by Yua the Yuki-Onna. The lightning bolt destroyed the water but the crackles of lightning quickly dissipated entirely into the air just as the technique it was used to defend against was. This prevented the flooding of the battlefield as the imperial officer pressed on. Two Hyuga guards from the citadel ran directly toward Yua with the immense ocular prowess of their byakugan focused on Yua's form. They approached and each performed separate combinations of the sixty-four palms and attempted to slam their hands into her. The Hyugas wore elegant white armor that distinguished them from the gleaming silver armor of the lightning imperial legionnaires. They also wore blue cloaks instead of purple cloaks as the legionnaires did.

P.S. it is very cool to have an RPC in the attacking force. If you are interested then at the end of the battle it could be possible for Kenshin to imprison Yua as a mind-controlled yokai following the Arashikage's request of him if you want Yua to have a special role in the arc. Let me know!

▱▰▱Kenshin's body was covered by night blue ethereal knight armor that matched that of his sentinel. The colossal battle between the sentinel and the samurai warrior spirits was viewable by all on the battlefield. When the general released the chakra pulse toward Kenshin he retaliated by activating his tenseigan's aura cloak. He took the brunt of the pulse of chakra and easily shrugged it off. Kenshin felt his ego being suspended by his heightened state of virtue. As a result, the venom of the general's words was just as easily barricaded as his physical attacks. The shinobi sentinel was singularly focused on defeating the samurai and defending his nation. The massive sentinel behind Kenshin jumped high into the air before thrusting down the two-hundred-foot-long foil in his hand. Thousands of bolts of electric light enhanced the rapier and decimated the opposing samurai titan when the rapier pierced his chest. When the samurai spirit collapsed Kenshin used the opportunity to slice into the general's skull. The cap of his head was sliced off as the sword cleaved through his ethereal helmet as well as his skull and brain. Blood flowed down from the crown of his head over his face as he collapsed to the ground lifelessly.
With the general dead, the morale of the samurai was greatly diminished. Now Kenshin would focus on cutting through the bulk of the army and aiding his comrades. He flew above the battlefield and used his tenseigan to examine the land. Cashew would notice a dark blue sentinel that was the size of a regular man but otherwise identical to Kenshin's massive sentinel spirit titan of bijuu size manifest between him and three of the chakra blade projectiles. The knight then performed a flurry of thrusts that opened dozens of wounds in each of the three samurai before disappearing. Next Kenshin would land next to Cashew and extend his glowing night blue hand to grab the mouse's paw and help him stand if he stumbled. "Stay on your feet, warrior." The lord commander advised him briefly with a determined gaze that radiated with the man's virtuous devotion to his country. Kenshin then quickly flew away again as his warrior spirit ran behind him. The sentinel jumped over the pearly crystalline dome before slicing through the trebuchet projectile with ease. Kenshin flew in and used his spirit sword, Getsuruito to cut through half of the massive arrows mid-flight.

The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.

Reverting from his electric cannonball state, Cashew glanced behind him to see the armored foes fall to the ground, unconscious. All that happened next came to Cashew in a blur: witnessing Kenshin and the samurai general's combat between gargantuan spiritual warriors, the forming of a crystal dome and the pillars which now surrounded them, and the lives of ally and enemy alike falling to the blade that opposed them. So this... is what war looks like. War. A word he never knew the existence of until he met humans. Yet here he was in the middle of one, in the defense of his village, for reasons unknown to him. He didn't know why, nor did he really understand how this came to be in the first place. What little he knew of the Samurai, Cashew was certain that they were honorable people. Whatever had caused them to work alongside their mortal enemies against the Shinobi, was beyond what the mousketeer could comprehend. A sudden force clashing against his forward, mid-air momentum snapped him back into reality. Unable to regain his sense of balance in that instance of time, Cashew tumbled to the ground below, a squeak of shock accompanying his expulsion of breath.
Three blades of chakra were propelled towards him from three Samurai ahead, and the poor mouse's paw was mere inches from Swiss, who he ended up dropping during his tumble. Cashew braced himself for impact, a silent apology being sent Mr. Toso and his friends. Part of him knew that his decision to help here was foolish. He wasn't strong enough to stop Chinchin from hurting those close to him, and he was way out of his league here, thinking he could fight alongside the mighty Kenshin Hyuga on the battlefield. This world that Cashew wanted so badly to be apart of just wasn't meant for a mouse.
The moment Cashew valiantly accepted his fate, his life could be spared by Kenshin's sentinel, blocking the chakra blade projectiles and preventing harm from coming to the mousketeer. Retrieving Swiss with one paw, the other reached out for the extended hand of Kenshin, who helped him back onto his feet. The two never officially had the chance to meet, yet the brief interaction they'd have before the lord commander flew off told Cashew all that he needed to know. Kenshin's words echoed through him like ripples upon the water's surface; the devotion he had for his country could be felt through his gaze, further inspiring the mouse to action. Used the manipulation of the crystals, the beautiful pearly whites pieces of the crystals that were once part of the dome were bee lining towards the archers before exploding into a blinding flash so bright that one could've sworn he was standing next to the lightning. Maybe it was just a trick with the sun hitting the peral crystals just right? If successful the archers would be blinded.
The crystals that were used for the blindness has shattered into tiny pieces, looking like stardust falling onto the ground. As they land on the ground before the archers as well those that was manning the aerial weapons, it looked like tunnels and holes were opening from the ground below. The tiny little pieces formed into rats. Rats. So many Rats. If one was to look at it, it would look like the ground was no longer green from the grass, but completely black and brown. Squeaking and screeching of the rats, they started to run-up towards the archers and the soldiers manning the aerial equipment, their screechings were almost deafening. As they latched onto a target and biting wherever they can, they would smell of iron which would be blood, stink, and dirt. Their teeth sharp and profound. Their fur rough and even their nails felt like thumbtacks poking all in the body. The rats aimed whenever it could aim, be it fingers, toes, balls, legs, ears, etc, it was aimed and bitten at.
Wobbled, Nami panted as she was doing everything she could to keep her word with Isobu. Closed her mouth for a moment, she let out a sharp exhale out of her nostrils. Why does she suddenly feel thirsty? Back of her throat felt so dry and rough. Almost like sandpaper. Her eyes glanced around and she noticed some of the arrows have made it through. Damn it. The arrows have hit her armor, lowering it and one of them pierced her left knee. Nami barely noticed it, so pumped with adrenaline, it felt like a cool and sharp sensation. Her hands wrapped around the shaft of the arrow as she attempted to yank it out wrongfully and grimaced. Decided to leave it be, she removed her hand and simply has the crystal form around the arrow, ignoring the slow blood trickle down her armor and shin.

Both Seo and Hotaru kept a close eye on the battle field as attacks and defenses were put out. Seo was actually a little impressed to see how well their forces were doing already. Of course Uncle Kenshin was able to take down the general without much effort on his part. The crystal dome was also pretty impressive, until it was destroyed by the samurai's arrows. 'Huh didn't know Samurai used bows.' Hotaru more or less talked to himself in the twin's telepathy. 'Didn't know they could mind control the Yokai either. Look.' Seo would retort before pointing in the direction of Yua. 'We have to do something! Yua's part of our shinobi family!' Hotaru immediately said once he looked upon Yua. She helped them with the academy and with the fight against Oren, for this Hotaru had a special place in his heart for Yua. 'We don't even know what's controlling her much less how to stop it Hotaru. For all we know, she's doing this of her own free will.' Seo continued, seeing that the woman who put up a dome also managed to get hit in the knee by an arrow. 'But, the Imperial guards might kill her Seo! We can't let that happen! She's still one of us.' At the beginning of him talking, his voice was empowered with a fiery passion to help out a friend. However, as he spoke he realized that Seo wasn't listening to him. 'Hotaru, we have to think of this strategically. If we go help her, then someone else could die because we aren't doing our job.' The girl continued before beginning to make a series of jumps and various other acrobatic type movements to get to Nami. "Don't move." She commanded Nami as Seo moved her hands down to the crystalline structure Nami had put around the arrow. Chakra began to radiate from her hands and surround the construct before, it would slowly be pulled out of her by the chakra. Seo's hands continued to radiate the chakra as the arrow was completely pulled out, then the wound would heal itself shortly after.
While Seo was distracted by the healing process, Hotaru separated from his twin. The man didn't utter a single word as he made his way over to Yua. 'If she won't help me save her, then I'll just do it on my own.' He thought to himself as he ran as fast as he could to get to the girl, seeing that the guards had already begun an assault on the Yua. "Wait don't! She's mine to deal with!" He pleaded with the guards mid attack. Hopefully Yua could protect herself from the attack and hopefully the guards would listen to Hotaru.
Once Seo was completed healing Nami's wound, she realized that her brother had gone missing. Given their telepathy and how close they were, she was almost immediately able to find him closing in on Yua and the two Hyuuga guards. 'Hotaru! What are you doing!? You can't just go running in there!' Seo said to her brother through their telepathic connection. However, no response was uttered from Hotaru. The girl sighed to herself. "You should be good now." She would say to Nami before taking off after her brother.

tabSuga rushed down into the battlefield, panic and curiosity driving her forward. Why were Zaishin forces here, of all places? And why were they on the offensive? Thoughts rushed through the girl’s head that she didn’t even notice when water flooded the valley, shifting the sounds of her footsteps to splashing. So even when it went from splashing to solid thudding against ice, Suga barely registered it. The girl’s unawareness was important in the short term as three yokai jumped into her path!
Suga came to a sudden halt at the appearance of the demons, but wasn’t immediately able to counter them! Due to the ice and her unsure footing, the former samurai could only flail about as she tried to regain her balance. “Tsuki!” She cried out while she leaned on one leg, her arms spinning. At her call, the white crow opened its beak and formed a small mote of flame. The wisp flew from the bird and into the path of the yokai lunging at Suga! [Defending B Rank Complex Ice Claw: Blaze Eruption Rank A] The weak ember fell just in front of the ice claws, exploding into an inferno of orange fire on contact!
In just that brief moment, Suga was able to regain her footing. “Thanks!” She called out, stomping her foot to solidify her stance as she formed her own seals. The hooded girl took in a deep breath and met the winter gale with her own wall of fire! [Defending S Rank Ice Breath: Fire Release- Great Flame Annihilation Rank S].
After launching his ball of flame, Tsuki disappeared into a poof of smoke! An instant later a clone of Suga burst from the cloud! The clone’s body crackled with electricity as it intercepted the oncoming ice spears! The projectiles came to a floating halt as they got caught by the electrical current as Tsuga landed in a crouch, whipped their body around to send the icicles back at the yokai they came from! [Defending A Rank Icicle- Electric Gyroscope Rank A]. Without breaking stride, the real Suga continued to form handseals and focus her chakra into the wall of flame! The embers exploded out when it blocked the gale, but Suga’s chakra formed the shape to keep the flames from dispersing. Instead they surrounded the three yokai in one giant flame prison! [Fire Prison Technique: Rank B].
As the girl finished her string of signs, the light above her started to gather. Violet needles of light illuminated the area around her as the senbon formed in the thousands. As both Suga and her clone eyed the yokai, their purple and orange Sharingan glowed from underneath their hoods. Even though Suga wasn’t a Zaishin native, she had grown accustomed to the maliciousness of the minor demons, and met the three with a stare colder than the ice they wielded. Wordlessly she pointed a cloaked arm at her trapped demons, unleashing the volley of light needles onto them! [Rain from a Cloudless Sky: Rank C Overwhelming]
▰ Fire Release: Great Flame Annihilation [ Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku ] | Rank S A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and then expelled from the mouth in a massive wall of intense flames that measure 100 feet in width and height. The cost of this technique may be paid again, expanding it's size to a total of 200 feet in both directions. This makes the technique extremely difficult to either avoid or contain while negating weaknesses to water release techniques of B rank and lower.

"AIIIIEEEE" Hollared a woman that Seo and Hotaru would notice and maybe Yua, but who knows if she was in the right mindset to recognize a sound. Dashing through the snow army, the pair had made it over to Yua. "YUUUAAA" Aiyume shouted her hands up in a 'I won't harm you' posture as her palms were facing her and then, suddenly, the Inuzuka pointed at Tsuta. "LOOK AT HER." Tsuta then closed her maw, confused, and let out a soft puzzled whine as Aiyume used shunshin to appear behind Yua and attempted to wrapped her arms around her into a bear hug. "Come on, girl! Snap out of it! We're your pack!" If successful, Yua would find herself being pulled into a bear hug with her back against Aiyume's chest and Aiyume would place her head on her friend's left shoulder and nuzzled up against her head, but this was also an effective way to keep an eye on everything that was going around and to prevent Yua using her head to bash Aiyume's head.
Tsuta turned and started to growl, her fur at the stands from the base of her neck to the tip of her tail as she bark, giving the Hyuugas warning to leave Yua alone. They were gonna figure this out way or another. Her ears perked up when she heard Hotaru as she barked for the twins to find them.

Yua both positively and negatively received the counter of massive water technique she had thrown out, the her whom wasn’t her had intended more from the costly Jutsu, the Yua everyone knew shackled in the back of her mind feeling some relief over the result. Her ice spears had little to no use at the moment but at least they were present and usable for other means and the action not one of waste, the corrupted mind of the Yokai using its faculties to their fullest, that her mind was as good as ever, just devoid of those pesky human traits she’d spent so much time adopting and with a purpose. Her eyes darted around and noticed the pair Hyuuga were making a go for her, intending to stop them from causing her any harm she began turning toward them and extending her right arm as her chakra built up indicating a Jutsu in the making, then came a sound that indicated things were getting complicated at this moment.
The sound was a yell from a voice that the yokai was familiar with, her locked down self knew who it was and her feelings were that of anxiety and fear, trying to yell out within the fog of manipulation. The second yell from the same voice accompanied by their arrival confirmed it to be the intense and kind Aiyume along with her lovely and expressive hound Tsuta, arriving fast and with hands raised, the non hostile approach working very favourably for a few reasons. The first reason was that she lowered her guard toward Aiyume in the sense she didn’t sense a spark of hostility aimed in her direction, the Hyuuga not steps away from their position, then Yuas right hand lowered, triggering the Jutsu she was somatically composing resulting in chains of ice bursting from the earlier created ice spiked and unraveled in long wind lengths toward the Hyuuga, specifically the one close to the spike by a few feet. Then all at once in the space of only a few seconds many things happened, Aiyume would vanish in an act of immense speed as Yua would begin raising her other hand to cast another Jutsu, the chain homing in closer and closer to the target than bore down on Yua, Hotaru dashed toward them about to yell and loyal Tsuta turned to try and ward the Hyuuga guards away. In an impact that likely imparted a cold like hugging snow Aiyume grabbed Yua in a restrictive hug just as her formation of chakra took place just after both Hyuugas hit the initial stance preceding the technique they intended to execute.
Spikes of ice ripped out of the ground infront of the Hyuugas the chains raced toward to block the start of their attack, the chains of ice slamming into the Hyuugas neck, arms and legs as the last spike formed, twisting as it passed and constricted around him/her in a hooking wrench toward where the spawned from a fraction of a second later, dragging that Hyuuga away with them(Dead mans chains).
This likely would mean the other Hyuuga wasn’t going to stop his attack as Aiyumes grapple came into full fruition and Yua struggled against it as her intended response had been prevented. Yielding to a more costly route of defence she expended vital force to ride her partially spiritual nature to leave the full barrage of attack from the Hyuuga as nothing more than 64 slightly forceful pushes, Yua flinching like one would when struck and the strikes feeling quite on point but when the Attack ended, the assailant would quickly realize that nothing happened to the Yokai and possibly noticed a slight fluctuation in how she appeared to their byuakugan while the strikes took place(Immortal resilience). Hotaru would now have arrived whilst the corrupted Yua struggled against Aiyume without success, screaming attack her in a speaking format that would likely sound antithetical to How Aiyume was used to Yuas speaking, missing the third person dialogue she normally used ”Hraaaaagh, let me go right now human, release me now or be my meal!!”She shrieked as she pushed back and tried to knock Aiyume of balance to make her let go with little success due to the hold the other girl hand, the real Yua inside was crying as she wasn’t manage in my to wrestle any control and could only feel dread as she could feel the other versions thoughts and plan begin to form as it recognized the friends who’d come to help.

Certain-Kill Ice Spears [ Hissatsu Hyōsō ] | Rank B The user forms their hand signs, summoning thirty spikes of ice that measure one foot in width and ten feet in height. These icy spikes erupt from the ground at the user's desired location within forty feet of themselves, or from any of the user's Ice. If this technique impales a targets body, that part of the body is subject to tier 1 paralysis, treating techniques as one rank lower and armor as one tier lower.
▰ Immortal resilience[ Japanese Technique Name ] | Rank X | Passive [ Element ]| Cost [ Spritual ] Whenever she would be struck by a technique that would do her harm she can expend vital force of equal rank to the attack, this means that most basic close combat becomes near meaningless if “Life eating monster” is active. Gen-Jutsu that do her perceived harm become easier to discern if she blocks with this technique as she still suffers the illusionary ailments. This does not cancel or nullify techniques rather than just make herself bypass being affected, although can be sent flying and the like and although she might be able to block part of an attack aimed at someone else by stepping in the way she by no means cancels them meaning it would have to be a very direct technique like a stab or beam or rasengan for her to completely block it, or damage technique from the front means she might be able to protect someone directly behind her.this is a supplemental action but if used whilst attempting to protect another will cost a defensive action. This ability is unaffected by Jutsu that lower the effect of defensive Jutsu or increase their cost. If broken by an equal level Jutsu for some reason, she still ignores the damage but looses an activation and access to this ability for two posts, has no requirement for handsigns and can be quite visually intimidating to watch her literally shrug off attacks, it also triggers her full Yokai appearance listed with her chakra manifestation.

▱▰▱As Kenshin was standing between Nami and the hordes of samurai infantry, twenty samurai rushed toward him. Each of the twenty enhanced their blades with chakra and expertly slashed at him in a reasonably well-coordinated strike to kill the lord commander of the citadel.
When a samurai came to a halt with a sword pointed to his Adam's Apple he stopped. Why was he being questioned by a soldier from the other side in the midst of battle? He dropped to his knees in submission knowing that he would not be able to land a strike on the mouse before being hit. "Because shinobi from Arashi destroyed the castle of and killed one of our five great clans!" His tone was hurried and loud to pierce through the sound of combat and cannon fire and into the mouse's ears. Suddenly, and without any indication, the katana in his hand was turned on himself. He shoved the sword into his gut and pierced his own armor. "You'll...never...take me. I'll die with honor." When the katana pierced his flesh tears streamed down his face from behind his mask. Blood may have splashed from the blade and onto Cashew's face if he remained where he was standing before the samurai. His intestines would soon spew out of the cut in his belly. The samurai shrieked in absolute agony as he performed the ritual of seppuku, mistakenly believing that Cashew would take him prisoner and interrogate him. The honorable and young warrior then fully collapsed to the ground and bled to death. Before Cashew could catch his breath another samurai appeared behind him and slashed his katana downward, enhanced by chakra.
The platoon of samurai archers would feel their eyes being stapped by the flash of light from the crystals. "Agh!" These were the sounds that escaped their lips as the archers looked away from the crystals and were unable to accurately fire any longer. Twenty-five of the ranged soldiers then watched rats devour their bodies. This enchantment caused them all to collapse and feel their flesh being ripped apart by gnawing teeth. When Nami's leg was pierced by the arrow and she was weakened, two archers who were not assaulted by the blindness or genjutsu attacks fired potent chakra arrows at her.
When Seo ran over and successfully healed Nami, infantrymen began running toward them. Three samurai swung their swords at various parts of Seo's body. Meanwhile, Horaru would be approached by two yuki-onna, snow witch yokai. These yokai intercepted Horaru as he ran toward Yua and each swung their icy chakra-coated claws at him.
Suga and the white crow successfully defended against the myriad of assaults from the yokai. Rays of light obliterated the snow women in the flame prison of Suga's making. However, fire suddenly erupted from around the fire prison. This flame was not created by Suga's technique, no, it was from the breath of a tengu. The red-skinned ogre continuously breathed powerful red flame toward Suga as more joined in from the yokai brigade that Suga was in proximity to. Another tengu would fly down from the sky and swing a katana down an an attempt to decapitate Suga.
The elite Hyuuga guards were confused by Aiyume's appearance on the battlefield. What she said in addition to grabbing onto the yuki-onna immediately led them to believe that this mind-controlled yokai was one that was taken from their side and needed to be restrained rather than killed. One Hyuuga would send out a bolt of lightning that would explode in electricity and destroy the ice chains and any other ice sent toward them. "Stand aside, we're arresting this controlled yokai under Lord Hyuga's orders!" They ordered to Aiyume and any others who may intervene. When the third Hyuga's 64 palms slammed into the Immortal Resilience the vital response overpowered his attack and blasted him back, knocking him out. The remaining two Hyuuga returned. One formed a handseal to charge a powerful lightning jutsu to dispatch with any attempts for Yua to resist arrest. The other one performed the necessary technique by focusing his chakra into a series of precise strikes. This would lock Yua's access to chakra for enough time to detain her. This attack did not have lethal force but would be quite painful to endure. The strikes were aimed around Aiyume if she did not get out of the way fast enough so as to not harm the tamer and only incapaciate the yuki-onna.

▱▰▱Kenshin's spirit warrior enveloped his body by the sentinel lowering its torso. The superior potency of the warrior blocked all of the samurais' sword strikes with ease. With one swipe of its massive blade all of the samurai were cut in half by the two-hundred-foot foil. Kenshin used his tenseigan to see that they had only dealt with the front half. There were still thousands of samurai that were yet to be dispatched at the rear of the army. Kenshin sighed at his spirit warrior disappeared and his virtue state reverted as its time was up. A Hyuuga officer approached Kenshin when this happened and was stopped by the lord commander. "Tell Ada that it's time to fire the cannons, all seven of the big guns. Aim for the back of the army and away from the yokai brigades. When the battle's over, any yokai that remain will be taken to the sky cells." When he gave the order the officer ran back to the citadel before re-entering the gates. The lord commander's goal was to end this battle with a minimum of imperial bloodshed on his side. Ideally, they would be able to force a retreat before the samurai army could even touch the walls of the citadel.
Kenshin inhaled deeply and felt the ghastly smell of blood that surrounded him become caught in his throat. He allowed the natural energy in the area to mix with his own massive chakra reserves. His dark blue cloak of reincarnation chakra allowed him to ascend into the sky above the battlefield as he felt his human sage mode fully activate. From behind him, he could see Ada commanding the massive artillery weapons in the Pale Citadel's spires. Seven massive artillery rounds were fired. They were entirely constructed of chakra of the highest level. Kenshin watched them fall into the back of the samurai army. Several thousand of the samurai were obliterated in seven massive concussive chakra blasts. The Hyuga clan head was hesitant to use the heavy artillery for fear of friendly fire but realized that the majority of the army was still in reserve and that the imperial forces managed to beat back the front lines away from the citadel's gates successfully. The sounds of the blasts would likely hurt everyone's ears on the battlefield. The tenseigan allowed him to view the mass destruction with reluctance. Defense. This is my duty. The sage reminded himself as he formed a longer string of handsigns. He stared down at the middle portion of the samurai army which was still a great distance from the citadel and his own forces. He sighed his calming inhale away as he remained in his position. He pointed his spirit sword, Getsuruito, at the sky. He morphed it from its rapier form to its legendary katana shape. A massive ray of night blue lightning was fired into the sky. A dome of lightning would form over the entire area before Kenshin slashed his katana downward ten times at the middle of the samurai forces. Thousands of samurai and officers would die from the middle of the pack. Defeaning shockwaves of lightning would explode outwards and kill thousands of samurai soldiers, officers, and siege weapons. The lightning was enhanced even further by sage chakra making these lightning strikes and their combined power even stronger than the seven S+ artillery cannon blasts that destroyed the back of the army. If the samurai from the front turned back then they would see the destruction of eighty percent of their army with the vast majority of the imperial and Hyuuga forces still intact.
Technique Used: ▰ Stern Spirit Sword: Palace of the Storm God | Rank S+ | Bukijutsu & Bloodline (Raiu) | Spiritual | Overwhelming Kenshin uses the katana form of his spirit sword Getsuruito to fire a ray of lightning into the sky. This forms a dome of dark blue crackling lightning over the entire area (topic). Kenshin can then use slashes of his katana to direct bolts of lightning toward the target. When the lightning bolts crash down they cause deafening explosions of sonic booms as well as electric shockwaves. This storm resists its elemental weakness against wind. Only one lightning bolt can be used per post with the full force of the technique. The lightning dome lasts for ten posts. Technique Active: ▰ Aura of Reincarnation: Ascension | Rank S The natural reincarnation aura of the Tenseigan greatly empowers into a pulsating cyan chakra cloak that acts as an armor and a physical enhancement for the Hyuuga. The gentle fist's effectiveness in devastating the chakra network of foes is drastically increased while in this state of ascension. The user also has the ability to fly. When chakra is infused in a physical strike using gentle fist the chakra within the enemy's body is reduced at double rounded up to the nearest total. Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitō Otchi no Sumittinguburēdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.
Charybdis made his way quickly to the site of the Samurai and Yokai invasion. He wasn't sure about all this stuff, but it seemed a lot like this and the mysterious monk like man had some connection. It couldn't have been a coincidence this man dealing in yokai found himself based in the Arashi mines just before an attack involving Yokai happened. He arrived upon the battlefield just in time to watch as lightning ripped through samurai forces.
He wasn't sure who did such...but that was powerful. Many forces from both sides upon the battlefield but they were still outnumbered it seemed. Maybe not outgunned if he could tell anything from the lightning attack that was performed. That being said Charybdis came all the way out here he still felt the need to help. Maybe even test his new power...or maybe to tap into himself.
Forming a string of hand seals Charybdis would place his hand quickly on the ground summoning a large squid upon the battlefield which he rushed into. "Ika-Yami...can you give me some time?" The giant purple squid glared at the young hojo...and seemed to be okay with such a question. 'Been a while since I've seen a new hojo. Show me what you got youngling. Don't let that sharkside of you beat out the squid.' Charybdis' answer to this would be a nod and a rush into the battle.
The response to giving the young hojo time from Ika would be his molding of chakra, and spitting out a dark black mist upon the battlefield to cover the samurai forces in a world of black. The arashi forces would see the black mist but find they were able to see through such a thing regardless. The young hojo/hoshigaki closed his eyes as he rushed in. Dealing with what he learned before. His main goal was finding out who he was...but his situation was not perfect. He needed to do something...do what Thresher commonly did.
Trusting his instincts as he ran into the fray. Through the black mist of the giant squid summon. Chakra first began to flow through his body...then shift. Change into a corrupted and more primordial form of chakra. Allowing his instincts to take over as opposed to remaining his calm and collected self. His body shifted, contorting into a mass of what almost looked like ink itself. His skin changing from it's normal blue color to a thick black color. His appendages changing and tentacles extending through from his entire body almost as he turned into something...different.
His body was also acclimated into his hoshigaki sage mode at the same time. A benefit of being such a beast...in pretty literal terms. Moving quickly through the black mist. He was preparing for something through this samurai hindering mist. But what it was they wouldn't know.
▰ Sea Of Darkness | Rank S | Cost: Chakra The Sea of Darkness fills an entire area the size of what could be a village in a black mist or black cloud depending on if it used on land or sea. The Sea of Darkness blocks out all sensory jutsu of anyone contained within and only those deemed as allies of Tako-Yami and his summoner may navigate its blackness unhindered. The Sea of Darkness muddles the senses as a genjutsu would, thus making navigation through it difficult as it robs those deemed enemy of their sense of direction. If underwater when being enveloped by the Sea of Darkness, up can be mistaken for down and rather than swim to the surface the targets may swim down to their own deaths by drowning. While it does block sensory techniques Doujutsu may see through it fine, though their sense of direction is still somewhat hindered if they lose sight of what they're currently using as a landmark. Duration [4] Ika-Yami "Offensive" activation.
Amidst the chaos of the battlefield something loud began to shake the sky. Clouds parted as large shaft began to penetrate the fluff, a loud humming above the cloud line. Based on the emblem on the shaft revealed later to be the bow. An Arashigakuran airship of massive proportion. Twice that of the size of a Bijuu. A mass proportionate to that of essentially maybe a very small village. The Arashigakuran Airship that had never seen the light of day. Hidden within the confines of village for the day it would be needed. An Airship not even Kenshin would have been aware of. Cold War. That was Shiro's warning if Toso were to reveal the so called 'WMD's' of Arashi. If in revealing this would would incite such a war. Well Squids often preferred the cold as opposed to the hot. Which currently what was happening now was undoubtedly a mess of the hot variety.
Only those with the sight of a Byakugan or enhanced sensory prowess could likely make out the crew which looked to be entirely that of autonomous puppets. Yet at the head of the bow would unmistakably be the Arashikage. With a stern expression on his face. There was several things that needed to be done with Arashi. As such it was on the move to the lands that were once known as Sunagakure led by a clone of his he'd have to trust wouldn't betray him. The place furthest from the war unraveling. He'd allowed several of his nin to leave the village as acting specialists. Allies of the land of lightning, yet politically unaffiliated. Those that agreed to dispatch here from Arashi had agreed to partake due to the kindness in their hearts and the possible personal obligation to defend the land in which was their commercial partner or perhaps other reasons. That was the freedom they were given.
Toso would not risk his citizens on the other sides lives, yet, simultaneously decided to put his foot down. Already was there a bright light emitting from beneath the deck. Like a dying star did it sparkle brightly before...it unleashed its payload...but...it did not strike a single samurai. No. Rather it targeted an uninhabited area nearby. Toso only knew this due to his sensory and scholarly prowess and the birds eye view helped further. That area...however, was devastated (Raijin's Pilebunker). Rock and tree rose, disintegrated. There is no such thing as true victimless destruction. Fauna and flora would perish. Perhaps he'd be branded an eco-terrorist. Yet that was not a care he bothered with now. NO. This was a display of force. One that no doubt was one of many that had already occurred on the battlefield...at thats when..well...Toso would pull a trick straight out of Kagami's book. Its effectiveness however, and the attacks that were already aimed at those participating would be up to them to defend. The presence of the Arashikage radiated his leadership. It was just like Toso to be the kind of guy to outright tell an entire armed force he was essentially using a Genjutsu on them while simultaneously using said Genjutsu to get them to reconsider the actions they were taking. The dying warriors of both sides, wheezing and bleeding into the grounds. The smell of iron and decay was up in the air. Gashes, amputation, and guts spilled, was this what war means? Nami's heart was starting to beat faster and she felt her insides were twisting up in her. 'No. Stop looking.' She commanded herself as with a shaky breath, she inhaled as she used body flicker to get out of the way from the arrows, but was slightly, once again too late, as one of them managed to scratch her arm, as it landed with a thud on the ground behind her. The scratch doesn't matter as she has her armor back up once again.
Nami grimaced at hearing the loud voice and it gave her an idea. The rats. The rats were still with the archers. Her eyes laid on the pillars, with swift hand movement, she shattered the pillars completely. It looked like it was snowing beautiful soft sparkling snowflakes. This movement would have the crystal dust land on everyone. Used the chakra of the rats which was her own and the dust of the pearly white crystals, she inflicted a powerful emotion. Fear. She was hoping by using the fear emotion, it would encourage the enemies to retreat and the allies to stop and think about what they were doing, especially in combination with the massive loudspeaker from earlier. If it wasn't for the deaths and dying warriors, the pearly crystal snow would be a sight to behold.

PassiveEffects: • • Crystallization | All Shoton techniques have the innate ability to crystallize chakra upon collision. Techniques that are not a rank higher nor overwhelm the Shoton technique will be instantly crystallized through. For example, a B-Rank Shoton technique colliding with a B-Rank fireball will result in the Shoton technique being destroyed and the fireball being rendered a useless clump of crystal. Once techniques are crystallized they are rendered useless to the caster. Additionally, the Shoton user can shatter a crystalized technique or object at will with no chakra or combat action cost. Finally, if the cost is paid twice for a Shoton technique then it will be able to crystallize overwhelming techniques and techniques up to one rank higher. This does not consume a combat action and can only be performed once per post. • Born Enchanter | All Shoton users of the genjutsu class automatically obtain the enchanter/enchantress path of a genjutsu class specialist (see genjutsu/genjutsu cross class). If the Shoton user is a genjutsu specialist already then they may be an enchanter/enchantress as well as a second path (illusionist, trickster, and conjurer). Ergo, if you are single genjutsu class then you get the enchanter path from genjutsu specialist and if you are a genjutsu specialist then you get the enchanter path as well as a second path of your choosing. _✧Those who are a specialist can choose one category of genjutsu to follow as a path. Genjutsu Path: Enchantress • Crystal Ball | The Shoton user's crystals can act as a crystal ball and produce divination visions by applying an E-Rank amount of chakra for no action cost. This allows viewing the crystals to be used as a sight trigger for genjutsu. Genjutsu triggered with this method cost one rank higher to kai but require one tier lower to release through pain at a maximum of S+ chakra and a minimum of tier one pain. In addition, as a clairvoyant, all genjutsu with sight as the primary sense can last for an additional [2] posts with no upkeep cost. • Crystalline Rampart | Defensive crystal techniques are one rank stronger against spiritual techniques in collisions. Crystal techniques also lose their weakness to sound techniques. Finally, all doton techniques can be classified as shoton techniques for no resource or action cost but only originally crystal defenses gain the one rank increase.
