❱❱ PRE-GATE ∴ Involved in the unrest in the Balkans from a young age. Joined a militia to defend her home, quickly learned her people where just as bad as those she was fighting. Realizing following a cause was just a way to avoid payment for skills Mira moved on and joined up with a PMC, she was good at killing people why wouldn't she get payed for it?
❱❱ SKY ASUNDER ∴ In the early days of the UDA they were desperate for military personnel to fight the new threat. The PMC Mira served with was contracted by the UDA and eventually absorbed into the organization. Mira was happy to follow the work, never before had she had that much freedom and resources at her disposal.
❱❱ MAGE HUNT ∴ The operations Mira took part in where predominately fighting the new threat, which proved to be a losing battle. The losses her team suffered where horrific, almost everyday was a new face and a name to not care about. When the mages where discovered her team was re-tasked to snatch and grab operations, securing as many subjects as possible for the science teams.
❱❱ ATOMIC PRISON ∴ It was only by chance that Mira survived the Tokyo incident. Injured in a previous operation, Mira was stuck in medical while her team was deployed on a routine mage grab. The subject went nuclear and Mira lost her whole team in an instant. Mira was promoted following the incident and tasked with setting up a team to replace the one lost. Mira's new team have become notorious for eliminating potentially dangerous mages. She won't let history repeat itself.
❱❱ TRANSFER STUDENTS ∴ Mira had little to do with the new initiative with the students. Despite being based out of the same facility she has been busy with other operations and as far as she's concerned the whole thing is a joke. It doesn't matter how powerful these kids are, handling the gates is a job for real soldiers.
❱❱ CURRENT ∴ Despite her very vocal protest Mira has been re-tasked to support mages on combat operations. Recent operational losses have decimated her team and her superiors are putting more faith in the mages though they remain worried the students aren't ready to fight on their own. Mira has begrudgingly accepted the orders and agreed to work with and train the students.

Using a substance created as a byproduct of gates that has been shown to have a volatile effect when in contact with mana, the rounds temporarily overload a mages system rendering them unable to use their magic briefly (stops a mage from using their power for one post). Due to the nature of the material cost and the very short term effect of the rounds they are available in a very limited supply and are to be used sparingly.
