DRY Joey is not one to show much inflection to his voice or really express much emotion unless it is extreme. It's not that he's never happy or sad, he just doesn't wear his emotions on his sleeve. EARLY CHILDHOOD Joey was born to the lead singer and drummer of the popular muggle punk band: Jabberwocky. Sure his parent didn't plan for a kid but Joey was a welcome surprise. The family lived out of one of the two tour buses the band owned. Growing up he was home-schooled and raised with the music, Joey enjoyed life on the road. The other band members were like his uncles and when he was big enough he helped with what he could though it was mostly holding rolled up cords. His magic started showing when he was 5, he was seeing if he could use daddy's drums but accidentally stepped on and broke one of daddy's favorite drumsticks. Knowing it was better to fess up to it right away he carried the broken stick to his dad and before he could apologize it seemed fixed. He simply claimed he found it elsewhere. Perhaps it was his imagination?
Joey learned he was extra special on his 11th birthday! The had a nice peraon come and introduce the to real magic! Not just cool card tricks. His parents were happy for Joey and were totally on board sending him to Hogwarts. They had to work out how to keep magic secret with them being famous. But that all adult stuff! He was going to a magic school!
