Jack takes on Sid and his gang after Kaz, who works for sector security gets hurt. Thanks to Jack's efforts, the Black Market was crippled and some duel runners were saved.

Lester wants in on the action since his "slab" has come to the planet. He transfers to duel academy and lures Luna into a trap. Leo being the brave morphtronic soul that he is, offers to join the turbo duel on skateboards with the one that Yusei made for him. So, its now a 2 on 1 duel and to nobody's real surprise for those watching, its a shadow duel.

Both Luna and Leo loses the duel, but after Lester sees that the Crimson dragon protected them, Lester rides off in a huff.

When Jack and Crow find Yusei at his favorite spot since the bridge had been built, Yusei tells his buddies about what he currently knows what has to be done. The gang has to tune up their runners to go even faster and for them to master the accel synchro summoning method.

Sector Security wants Yusei, Jack, and Crow to look after a guy named Bruno and at first the guys were going to say no. However, when Bruno shows Yusei an improvement to the duel runners, they wanted him to stay with them. After finishing an intense program, and going to sleep, Yusei and company was robbed by Lazar.

Jack, Yusei, Crow, and Bruno decided to give Lazar a little chase until Lazar led the gang to a factory used to make duel bots. Yusei and the others get separated where Yusei must fight a duel bot while trapped in a room with Lazar. Bruno was knocked unconscious by Director Primo while Primo made his escape. Primo had used Yusei's new program to run thousands of "ghosts".

Crow and Jack aren't even at the factory for they fell for some decoys that Lazar had used.

Yusei beats the duel bot and makes it out of the self-destructing factory within seconds of certain doom. Now reunited with his friends, Yusei is ready for whatever happens next.

Jack Atlas was arrested for trying to sabatoge other runners who were just trying to get by, but thanks to a mystery person, Jack Atlas breaks out of prison. Wanting to prove his innocence, he runs into the fake Jack Atlas where the fake beats the real Jack Atlas in a duel. How is the real Jack going to prove his innocence?
