Underground Munitions Bunker Complex

The complex while at first appears quite small when first entering it is quite large. The first major room you enter being a large armoury houses a lot of different weapon racks lined with old world weaponry. There are two rooms connected to the main armoury, one a workshop which would allow someone to produce munitions and weapons alike provided you have the material to do so. The second room looks to be a security room which also has a door which is locked.

This door leads to an underground research complex where unknown projects were underway before the collapse occurred, one such project was a section which houses docking bays for Drones, the drone complex having five drone bay which are sealed, the complex also having parts and weapons specific for a Drone to utilize are scattered about on tables and walls.

The research complex has a lot of antechambers that lead into larger research sections but sadly it is unclear as to what was being done there since most of them have collapsed, and one with a sealed door which appears to need power in order to open, but it is unknown as to what was being done there or whether or not it is collapsed on the other side of the door.

the only entryway that is still accessible is through the Castle armory

Desmond watched as the light were lit which revealed more of the armory before him, it was massive by any stretch of the imagination, but it was also brimming with weapons and ammunition to load into them. To say that he was like a child in a candy store was an understatement as he moved through the rows of run racks that filled the large room he stopped and grabbed a weapon, a rifle, and examined it for a moment finding that it was old world technology, while a lot of it was abundantly available back where he and the others came from, this hardware was surprisingly in pristine condition. He returned it back to the rack and moved on stopping by a very familiar weapon and grabbed it “interesting a Rapier Mark Two, haven’t seen on of these in a while” the weapon much like the mark three was a portable heavy weapon with a rotating internal barrel which was exposed compared to the mark three which covered that up to prevent dust and grime from getting into the internals and jamming it up, he couldn’t help but wonder how long this place had been here, but he didn’t dwell on it too much and returned it back onto the rack before looking around some more finding that this armory had both melee and ranged weaponry and stepped over to the rack holding a lot of swords and simply pulled one out of position and examined it a moment finding that it was of good quality before once again returning it back to the rack and moving on.

Eventually he found Bast who had just finished lighting up the room and stepped in behind her wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her neck “quite a secret you have here, thank you for showing it to me” he kissed her neck again and smiled as he held her close to him.

Bast leaned back into him, tilting her head so that he had free access to her neck and placing her hands over his as he held her, "This is for you and your pack. So that you can get free... But it's only for you and your pack. No one else. That's the condition of Sebastet letting me show it to you. She sealed it up when she found it. It was for good reason, but she never expected to open it again..." she explained to him softly, knowing that he'd understand.

"She showed it to me when I found the door. When I met Jenny, I knew that you would need this," she added then pointed to another door, "That one opens to a room with repair stuff and radio equipment. The rest of the place is sealed up. There's only the one entrance to the whole thing up in the armory," she finished then laced her fingers in his and pulled his arms a bit tighter around her.

"With this stuff... You can all be free... Right?" she said softly, her tone just a bit hopeful but unsure. She could have reached through the bond to see what he thought, but she wanted to hear his voice. She loved to hear his voice when he spoke to her...

Desmond smiled and replied “definitely, this hardware is old but looks to be in perfect condition, it’ll be perfect for the defense of the island as well” he could tell she was being hopeful, and he did his best to confirm that there was hope. His arms continued to be wrapped around her and he kissed her cheek before he continued “we’ll be free in no time” He was confident in that fact and his bond with her showed it. Desmond kissed her cheek before he let go and walked over to a door noting the sign to the right of it, a security room, Desmond cocked his head for a moment before he opened the door and went inside finding that the room had a lot of hardware inside along with a second door, the computers, lights and everything else he wasn’t really sure was looked like they had been without power for quite a long time. Shaking his head he scratched the back of his neck as he walked over to the second door and tried the handle finding that it seemed locked, though it didn’t look like something that would have a key to considering he didn’t see a keyhole anywhere or a keycard access point, so likely needed access to the computers just to open the door, trying a light switch, he shook his head as nothing happened “interesting, seems like the generators for this place have been down a while, if Voss was here I wonder if he would be able to get through this door” Desmond knocked on the door lightly before turning around and left the security room returning to the armory “if this stuff is what they keep out I wonder what’s locked behind the door” Desmond ran a finger along a gun barrel kicking up dust at the same time and just looked at Bast again, to see what she wanted to do.

Bast felt a little giddy that he liked her Gift to him. She did resist bouncing over it, but couldn't resist grinning as she followed him into the Security Room. She looked it over and frowned a bit as she thought hard on a solution to the power issue. There was something that she remembered but it took a bit of mental digging to find it.

It was part of one of her history lessons when she was a cub, back with her parents before her brother was born. Sometimes she didn't like remembering those times, but they came in handy at times like this.

"Fuel would be difficult to get hold of for the generators... But I think they could be converted for hydro easily... There's a waterwheel in the village... Installing another one below the castle wouldn't be that difficult and it would supply power where needed here and in the castle..." she offered, thinking that it had possibilities, at the very least.

She did sound hesitant over it, though, because she wasn't that certain of the process of building and connecting a waterwheel for power. Still, they did have one in the village that ran the mill and a few powered buildings there. So someone had to know how to build one and connect it to things like the generators... Right?

Desmond paused a moment to consider what Bast said about a waterwheel for power and looked at her with as much as uncertainty on that as she was “well anything’s possible but I wouldn’t really know for sure where to begin with that, but it is worth looking into” Desmond paused when Khajhan came out of the shadows behind Bast and spoke up immediately while placing a hand on Bast’s shoulder “Sebastet needs you, it’s urgent” Desmond didn’t like the sound of that and walked towards Bast and Khajhan and looked at Bast a moment before he replied “of course where do we need to go?” Khajhan shook his head “you’ll be going with me” Desmond wasn’t sure what he meant but that was quickly explained when Khajhan stepped towards Desmond and placed his hand on his shoulder, Immediately they were being consumed by the shadows around Khajhan and pulled into the ground into the shadowlands where he would deposit Bast and Desmond at Sebastet’s location before going after Jenny and bringing her to the shoppe as well. Desmond didn’t like this feeling of being pulled into the shadows like this but he wasn’t going to disappoint so he simply endured it.
