T/N: The one writing these is Bai Zhāng, you know that scientist Dr. Sūn hired? Dr. Sūn hired him for the military application division. Have fun with these ones, I was mostly centered within this program.

Yāo​wù Zhǔ, Jiāháo hereby noted as Second Yāo​wù was successfully acquired from the earlier documented mutants Jin Zhǔ and Caihong Zhǔ. The couple agreed to the purchase of the child for safety and a sale of the child Jiāháo for a fine amount. They have been exiled and their record wiped away, as well as any and all records of this child's birth now lie with us and have been sealed (T/N: They sold me for about $5000 USD at the time. I don't think they even considered it just...sold me off.) and the cover-up has left no one the wiser. Records of this extraction have been classified and the Yāo​wù will be moved to the secondary experimentation block and appointed an official caretaker in Ms. Zhou.

Both Ms. Zhou and second Yāo​wù's were born in Lìjiāng, Yunnan, China so that should create a better bond due to Yāo​wùs point of origin. We hope the relationship between the two will make the child's time here a bit easier now and into the future where the experimentation will grow more painful. Ms. Zhou lost her child twenty years ago so we expect her to bond, but her loyalty is well tested so we do not expect her to try and liberate the child, merely sooth them. If she does somehow show signs of defecting she will dealt with. (T/N: I included files on this too. They had a pretty bad habit of doing this, but weren't smart enough to cover it. Enjoy.)

They will be one of ten currently kept under watch by this program with a success aim of 90%, however this particular Yāo​wù is not expected to survive the first round of combat testing. The Yāo​wù's body is efficient, but one they appear to have simply diverged from human line. Yāo​wù Two will be observed heavily while more testing is done on their physiology. Blood samples will be taken as they grow in order to monitor the development of their genome. We've already put our eyes on replacement Yāo​wùs once should they eventually become unstable.

They are to be trained in combat and assassination as efficiently as possible. Yāo​wù Two is to be trained under Shun Yang, Ai Zun, Jia Zhou, and Wei Xinyi and master their lessons before his first combat test. They are permitted any method in dealing with him so long as they accomplish what we've hired them for.

Estimation of success is 3%.

Yāo​wù Number Two has shown a surprising amount of development over the years. His cells have reacted positively to the experiments, and even managed to purge traces of the virus in order to keep it healthy. They never even noticed they were sick, and tests revealed no trace was left. He has grown exponentially healthy over the past years and generally all traces of illness are purged within a few hours to a day. Yāo​wù is actually showing an abnormally high health for children his age. Testing will continue.

Disease testing on Yāo​wù Number Two show that their body expends little energy in even eradication of stronger sicknesses. Disease decreases at a rate we've never seen before until they're even gone thanks to the more effective nature of his cells, and their refusal to weaken. Some substances even refuse to take hold if they are not strong enough. (T/N: They had a habit of testing these on me.) We will conduct further testing on the Yāo​wù to determine the extend of this.

Yāo​wù Two's secondary mutation has manifested during exercise-183. This particular exercise was meant to test the progress of Two's training in as realistic a way as possible. This exercise was set up in an abandoned governmental building that we led two to believe was real. The guards were given real guns, but orders not to kill.

Two did well for the first part of this exercise, but an error led to Two being caught by the guards who were ordered to fire upon him. While the bullet easily broke the skin we found that his insides seemed to harden almost like...armor? Two took the small moment of surprise to incapacitate several of the guards with great ease.

We took him in for operation, and found his insides were growing harder in layers. We will conduct further testing on this.

Yāo​wù Two's training is going very well, the assassins we hired to teach him are very harsh with him. They mentioned that when they received him he was a spirited young man but they took to breaking that spirit as harshly as they could. Joy resulted in beatings, sympathy resulting in cuts, crying resulted in isolation for days at a time. It took them a years time to break him down, but eventually he fell in line. This is why we hired them.

He also took to the lessons very well, finding they were able to keep him training for days at a time thanks to his body. They drilled until it was nearly instinct as he took in their skills. They also taught him arts, acting, and other things meant to make him effective in either obvious operation or behind the scenes.

His caretaker expressed worry, so she is being transferred before she weakens the boy and undoes all the training they did. The other Yāo​wù mention him crying at night...perhaps that needs to be dealt with.

Combat testing. Yāo​wùs One, Two, Four, and Six are to head out to conduct an operation again and incursion of monsters. We are testing in they can wipe out these monsters (Identified as Shui Gui) before some strange group of "heroes" known as the Legendary Armor Men show up. Yāo​wùs Two and Six are not expected to survive due to lack of external powers, but we are sending them out anyway for interest.

They were deployed to the small coastal village of Wukan in Guangdong. It was a small infestation of creatures who appeared to be the cause of a recent and large string of drowning, especially in children. Despite the apparent young age of the Yāo​wùs we felt they would be best suited towards rooting out this problem.

Upon reaching the village we instantly set them off to do what was required of them. We are at least able to detect them faster then the Armored Men are. We will continue to observe.

It took two days, but the threats are pacified and the Yāo​wùs are on their way home. The mission was a success despite a couple set backs, and we only lost a single soldier though it was not because of the strength of our experiments.

While the investigation took a day, Yāo​wù One was able to lure the creatures in a single location while Yāo​wù Six forced them to reveal themselves. They engaged in combat with Yāo​wùs One, Four, and Six being the most effective due to their cultivated abilities. However, Yāo​wù Two struggled quite a bit due to lack of external powers unlike the others, but his training coupled with his reinforced insides and efficiency did allow him to keep up.

They were low level creatures, but regardless the group did struggle. Towards the end of combat however they all began to tire, all except Yāo​wù Two. Yāo​wù Two was capable of fighting the longest and hardest. However during the fight Yāo​wù Two found it prudent to sacrifice Yāo​wù Four to attain an advantage as per his lessons. This ensured his survival and allows him to kill the creatures. We are not displeased, but we are now in need of replacement.

Further watch will be kept on Yāo​wù Two. His survival was...unexpected.

After several successful missions Yāo​wù Two came into contact with the Armor Men. Yāo​wù Two was accompanied by Yāo​wùs One, Three, Seven, and Six, but upon meeting the two groups fell into combat despite orders for them to withdraw. Our soldiers were generally outclassed with the exception of Seven, and somehow Two.

Two engaged the Blue Armor Man in battle [T/N: I won't reveal her real name so lets just call her Nuwa as is her sign, she was a scientist and a very strong one. Her skills were intense.], while Two engaged the Green Armor Man (T/N: Identified as Tai Qiang, local business man after his death. His axe was quite painful.) in combat, in hand to hand with the other two providing support where they could. We had our external teams move on them hoping to prevent their loss at the hand of the Armor Men. Seven had an easy enough time dealing with the Green Armor Man it seemed even managing to do significant damage before a lucky strike incapacitated them.

Two's battle with Blue was more pressing as they severely outclassed him, however he was able to put up a fight.The Blue Armor man didn't go for killing blows however, and seemed to want to try to talk him down. By the time our external teams arrived he was still near death however, but not without having managed to cause the Blue Armor Man several injuries especially to their weapon and mask letting us know they were less invincible than they seemed. They did not seem upset as we came to save him and even let us take him.

Two was recovered and rushed back to facilities to undergo emergency surgery. It was there we found out about Two's newest mutation, his improved internals. It made it hard to save him, but we did it eventually. We are sure he is no longer one of us.

The team has done well thus far. They have managed to complete 30+ missions with minimal losses, but they are beginning to encounter the Armor Men more and more. While we have managed to mitigate most of the trouble they have caused us it is beginning to have an effect on several of the Yāo​wù.

Several of them are unhappy as it is, but having to fight "heroes" has beaten down their morals. Two in particular has built up a strange rivalry with The Blue Armor Man, and has been one of the few to escape combat with The Gold Kaiser though not unharmed. His developments have been surprising, but we are pleased.

We are sure that their training is complete.

Having spoken with the others we've decided to send the Yāo​wù out to live "civilian" lives though they'll be under strict surveillance for the time being. We believe this will reinvigorate them and keep them under our control. We will still check up on them every now and then, but they will also be in charge of their own progress reports.

It will be interesting to see how they fare independently as well.
