Heisuke met Daisuke shortly after he got out of prison due to being blamed over a crime he didn't commit. To Heisuke, Daisuke was like a saving grace when he was trying to pick his life back up. After his wife's betrayal, he was sure that he wouldn't be able to find a love better than his childhood sweetheart. Daisuke proved that thought wrong and proved to be Heisuke's true soulmate. Heisuke is incredibly loyal to him and would do anything for Daisuke.
Heisuke sadly was only apart of Mitsuru's childhood for a small while before he was thrown into prison. During his time in prison, their relationship was strained because Mitsuru believed that Heisuke was to blame for all his misfortunes. Losing his family and his mother's neglect that nearly led to the child's death. When Heisuke was proven innocent, Mitsuru returned as an adult with guilt in his heart and the wish to make amends. Despite their rocky relationship before, the two were easily able to patch things up and they became close. Relying on each other for support and rebuilding the foundations of their familial relationship. Despite it all, Heisuke always loves his son dearly and is sad to have ever caused him grief.
Seiji is a man that Heisuke has great respect for. A lonely man who stepped up when he was only a child himself to take in and raise Heisuke's son Mitsuru when he was younger. Seiji lost his parents when he was young, and had to grow up quickly. His maturity at a young age and his passionate loyalty to his loved ones is what saved Mitsuru's life. Something that Heisuke feels he can never fully repay Seiji for. Though to two often squabble over who is Mitsuru's favorite father and throw jabs at one another playfully, Heisuke highly respects Seiji and strives to be a man like him.

Timo is someone fairly new to Heisuke, but he is excited to learn more about the trainer as him and Daisuke exercise with him. He seems kind of shy, a little insecure, but very nice.
Kids will be kids. They didn't get off to a great start, but Heisuke is sure that it is just a one off thing. Bad first impression, but he seems like a decent kid. Time will tell.
