Abilities:
→ Hearing: His hearing range is between 25-80 kHz (Human hearing limit is 250 Hz-20 kHz) Can hear as far as 6 miles in a crowded/ wooded area and 10 miles in an open area. With his hearing more sensitive than a normal person, anything really loud and high pitch really irritates him and gives him a headache.
→ Sight: Can detect the slightest movements in front of him, has a 250 degree of vision, can see in the dark but is colour blind to red/ green means he can't distinguish reds, oranges, greens and browns [It will all look yellow to him]. The colours of teal to violet have muted down and red-based purples look grey. as a canine, his depth perception isn’t that good unless he’s looking straightforward.
→ Scent: Had a high level of scent recognition, can recognize the individual by the given scent even before seeing them. He can even track someone with scent alone. Although strong scents can be used to temporarily mask their tracks to confuse him until he picks up the original scent. But if you regularly use a certain scented product, he will identify and recognize it as you along with your natural body odour. There are smells he can't stand like those strong perfumes/ cologne, skunks and people don't regularly wash themselves. It makes him gag and at worst; nauseous.
→ He also has prominent canine teeth (Top set are 1 inch long and the bottom set are half an inch); the only physical mutation on him. His bites do vary from playful ones to a violent 200-400 pound-force bite. [Average human bite force is 100 pounds]

Personality: He is usually laid back and calm unless agitated which then he'll be standoffish and defensive (might even growl and bare teeth but it's rare). Unlike his twin; he's very hesitant and doesn't openly trust everyone he meets. He likes his personal space and has a low tolerance for those who try to invade it. But if you gain his trust then he's usually calm but that spot is for only a small circle of people.
Bio: Hwan's childhood is about the same as Han's but a little different. It began to change directions when his became pronounced around the age of four, he got his ability from their mother (Jeong-Sun) who is an owl anthropomorphism, to explain they simply share characteristics with an animal both the pros and con. For example, their mom can turn her head about 270 degrees with ease and see well at night but cannot see things in focus near her. She can also hear really well so it's hard for anyone in the house to whisper secrets from her. Han may have had a surprise awakening of his ability, imagine Hwan's. Imagine waking up one with most of your senses heightened and some changing and not for the better. Hwan became colourblind to red-green and he can no longer taste sweet things. Regular sounds and smells became easily overwhelming for him, it was a rough few years till he was able to adapt to it, plus their mom had to go through the same thing he did so she was supportive to him.
I guess you can say that was one of the reasons for Hwan's personality change cause, believe it or not, the twins had identical personalities. Though reasonably Hwan's demeanour changed quite a bit. Though middle school didn't help either. He was the type of kid you would be too scared to talk to and make rumours about. Though he would usually get annoyed by Han's goody-goody personality but deep down inside, he enjoys his company and is defensive for his twin. Though there are times where he'd bite Han when he's at his limit.
After transferring high schools with his twin, things were a bit bumpy on his end. Let's just say he had the weird phase where he had no idea what he was doing. It also seemed he meets more people who had the hobby of annoying him till his hair was naturally white (his hair was black before wanting to be different and bleached it). There was this one guy who thought it was cool to only shower weekly was Hwan's true demise. Even thought that he met his love but even that didn't work out well for him, and for a brief moment after that his health deteriorated worrying his twin. Though he's recovered, but it made him more skeptical or emotionally closed off especially when towards romantic relationships.
After graduating with Han, the two served their two mandatory years in the military. Though afterwards, Han is pursuing post-secondary education in the same career industry as their father. Hwan is picking to continue his career in the army instead, specifically, the Marine Corps and when he's off duty he's usually visiting Han or their parents.
