One of the main goals of this farming game is collecting all the ribbons and leveling.
When you first start out, there will be a series of quests to get you started and believe me, its only to start you out. Once you get to a certain point, it will be just ribbon collecting.
There are 7 ribbons for each category to earn. Once you get a blue ribbon in any category, you have mastered it. There are mastery stars as well for each crop, but that's a side mission compared to the main goal.
The first ribbon in the ribbons tab is the mattress feeder. This is your money saving goal for the time being. The final one for this is 5 million coins. If you do save 5 million coins, then you get the banker title.
Another worthy goal to set out on this game is collecting neighbors fast and in order to do that, you need friends. There is no title with this, but it can be one of the first blue ribbons you get. If you can get 60 friends total to being your neighbors then thats all it takes.
Crop ribbons will be one of the main focuses in the game and certain levels unlock certain crops. Gear ribbons are a secondary type and animal based ribbons are a third type. You will have kitchen utensil based ribbons, craft shack based ribbons too. Plus, later on, you get the farmhand based ribbons and order board ribbons.
It is a worthy game and best of all the staff will listen to your questions, comments, and suggestions if you message them via the fan page.
Any questions you have for me can be posted below.

Here is some facts about one of the crops you can grow on the game.
Clover may be the cheapest crop that you can grow, but gain the most experience from it. For one thing, if you have a beehive, you are going to get honey.
Collecting honey is one of the ribbon tasks! How cool is that?
Then, when you unlock the candle maker gear, best get one of those and set it to sea sunset. For sometimes the bees will drop a bonus item called beeswax. This wax can be turned into candles. Every two beeswax makes a sea sunset candle, and you get the most money returned. Like 625 coins per candle. Plus, you gain 15 xp per sea sunset candle made. Not bad for just planting the cheapest crop right?
Then, if you have a cow on your farm, which you should, you will gain milk from that cow. And here is a special tip... try to save up 25 ranch cash early so you can purchase the cow that produces milk in 20 seconds instead of a full minute. Its even worth it to replace the holstein cow with the fast cow if you go that route.
Collecting milk is one of the ribbon goals.
Also, collecting clover is a ribbon goal.
Now, once you get the milk, there are a plethora of things you can do with it. You can make cheese of three different types depending on your level, which is a ribbon goal called Dairy King. You can make yogurt, which is a ribbon goal. You can also make butter and cream, which is a combination ribbon.
Now with that butter you make, if you save the corn as is instead of feeding it to the chickens, you can make popcorn in the farm kitchen, which works towards the cauldron usage ribbon. This popcorn has a special use when you have your truck driver Tyrone. Feed Tyrone the popcorn and along with some humor, you will get a bonus item, which may be some free ranch cash.
After you get enough popcorn, then feed the chickens for the eggs, which that will work towards two ribbons. The gathering of the corn ribbon, and the collecting eggs ribbon.
When you get a truffle hog, you also feed that animal corn to get the truffle hunter ribbon set.
Then by building a brick mill upon gaining the proper level, you can make cornmeal, which is obviously ground corn. There is a ribbon set for making cornmeal. So corn is going to be very important.
The leghorn chickens cost coins, but any other chicken will cost some ranch cash, so its a good idea to constantly save up that ranch cash and save room on the limit board for animals that cost the ranch cash.
One mistake I made, which I have to correct is I bought the pig that gives you bacon and pancetta using coins instead of ranch cash. That pig using coins will make you wait two minutes for a single piece of bacon or pancetta, whereas the fast pig of the same variety will make a piece within 45 seconds or something. The thing is, its pricey. 65 ranch cash for it. But it will save you time. Bacon and pancetta is a combination ribbon set. So you are going to need that pig for that set.
See, if you can get an animal with ranch cash as opposed to coins, its better to use the ranch cash because odds are its going to be better. The black sheep can only produce black wool and then black sweaters in the weaver, which is if you are solely ribbon minded. But, the white sheep you get with coins can get you felt, thread, and sweaters. Felt and thread are not ribbon goals, unless you are working the craft shack, which then its the sewing machine ribbon.
So, you need both the white and the black sheep.

Serena T Moon is working on her clover related ribbons as well as some cooking ones using the wheat and flour.
For Harvesting clover, she needs 205 more in order to get the yellow ribbon. She has the brown, purple, and green ones already for this. She has the white, red, and blue ones to go after earning the yellow.
For gathering honey, she needs 126 more jars before she gets the yellow ribbon. For collecting milk from the cows, she needs 352 more buckets before getting the yellow ribbon. For making butter or cream, she needs 1249 more pieces before getting the yellow ribbon. For making yogurt, she needs 1090 jars before she gets the yellow ribbon. For making cheese, she needs 955 more wheels before she gets the yellow ribbon.
From what I see, she is on level 4 for clover products.
Now for wheat related products, this is her progress:
Gathering wheat - 1046 before yellow (level 4) Gathering wool - 845 before yellow (level 4) Producing sweaters - 5 for level 1, so she hasn't even started this. Producing flour - 893 yellow, so again level 4. Rolling pin use - 1 for green, she will get this today. Oven use - 26 green (level 3) Knife set use - 375 yellow (level 4)
See, by using the flour to make raw pasta, she makes progress for the rolling pin. And then, by using the raw pasta along with the cheese she had made, she makes progress with both the oven and the knife set because she would be creating mac and cheese.
Okay, an update! Serena T Moon gained the level 3 ribbon for rolling pin use. She now needs 367 more uses in order to get the level 4 ribbon. An update! Thanks to kind neighbors, she has gained the level 1 ribbon for making wine. She needs 19 more wine bottles in order to get the level 2 ribbon. Serena got the level 2 ribbon in feeding the yorkshire pigs and she leveled to 27. She has unlocked raspberries, which are a part of the "Harvesting berries" ribbon set, but the catch is, they are a shrub crop and she is not doing shrubs.
