Prom, despite being a smart guy, was zero help in their endeavor. Han and Yasu don’t really know much about the holiday that the city is currently in celebration of. All Yasu knows is that usually during, people feast. All Prom told him is that they have turkey and ham on these dinners. Other than that, Prom doesn’t know much about the holiday. "Usually that is a family event, but I didn’t have that, so I never celebrated it or even bothered." The redhead told him on the phone. So not only did it not help, but it made him feel sorry for Prom and his circumstances all over again. Only because he completely understands that himself. To be alone most of your life. He is lucky that he has someone now to call his family. "Prom says that there is usually turkey and ham at these feasts. We have the turkey don’t we? I think that is close enough."
Aside from the turkey, there is a spread of Korean and Japanese dishes on their table. Considering their two cultures, it seems kind of fitting for them. Regardless of whether or not they have the dishes that are appropriate for the holiday, they can enjoy it in their own way. Just another excuse for them to spend time together and celebrate them being their own little family. "I like what we have here anyways. Will your brother be joining later?" He kind of hopes that he doesn’t join them at all. He still isn’t a fan of the guy and his attitude towards Han. Hwan and Prom are similar in their pessimistic and a*****e nature, but Prom doesn’t say shitty things to Han. Nor does he put his hands on Han. Prom is smart enough to follow Yasu’s basic rules. Hwan is always breaking them and pissing Yasu off. But he also has a free pass from being murdered in his sleep because he is Han’s brother. Han would be so sad if anything happened to his brother, so Yasu just has to deal with his shitty personality. The less he is over, the better.
"If he is busy, that means more for us and more alone time." This brings the man’s arms around Han’s waist as he rests his chin on his shoulder. As if they don’t already get enough alone time on a daily basis for them to express how much they love each other. "I love you, so much. I am happy I have this opportunity to celebrate any and all holidays you wish with you." After pressing a kiss to Han’s neck, he pulls away to help him situate the dishes to fit properly on the table. "If you don’t mind, can we save some leftovers for Prometheus? He hasn’t been eating too well lately again, so I want to give him some leftovers to take with him to work."

Which was the best explanation he got considering he's been hearing about it since he and his twin went travelling abroad roughly half a decade ago. But food is involved including turkey which was said to be the important part, why? he doesn't know nor would he try to ask. So here he is wearing his casual clothes with an apron, cooking serval side dishes like hangover stew, kimchi fried rice, tamagoyaki, simmered kabocha squash along with other side dishes. So long story short, they have more than enough to feed the both of them plus leftovers and can feed friends. "Speaking of the turkey, it has... maybe another twenty to thirty minutes to go before it should be done." Looking at the timer on his phone, why does it take so long to cook??

It's times like these he occasionally thinks back to their younger years on that fateful day seeing how far they've come to here and Han just hums in content. "I love you too, Yasu. And I'm glad to be celebrating with you." Being quick as he manages to sneak a kiss on his lips before helping to set the table for the two of them. While debating if this is a wine or beer type dinner. Though tea may be the smarter choice. "Oh definitely. We'll have more than enough leftovers, can we also save some for Hwan? "

Yasu has never treated his Han as a slave to take care of him, but he has never looked down on Han serving him either. It felt like a habit for them to serve one another whenever they sit at the table. When Yasu makes dinner, he tends to do the same. So, you can just say it is a thing they do in their house. "Thank you." He was only helping to give yasu his portions, but even for that, the man pours all of his love and adoration into his words. Han could do no wrong and everything he does stands to be appreciated. Oh how his love is perfect in everything he does.
"He is your blood. I understand that he’s important to you. I want to hold the people and things that you love dear as well." Aka: He doesn’t want to kill it and trample all over their happy little bubble. Doesn’t want the blood from his own past to trickle down and taint all of the happy times they have together. He is at least aware that murdering someone will ruin everything. Han is worth not risking all of this happiness for only a brief moment of satisfaction. A brief moment to relish that he got rid of another obstacle before reality comes crashing down on him. "We don’t get along but...we can at least agree that we have a reason to be civil with one another. Better your happiness than pettiness that will make you sad." A sad Han makes for a pissed off Yasu.
He first goes for the familiar dishes, working his way around to get to the main piece, the turkey. Turkey is good, but it isn’t his favorite, so he saved trying it for last. You bet he will eat every last bit, because the hands of his angel made this turkey. "Everything is delicious, as I expected. You’ve gotten even better with making other dishes." He has to admit that Han’s skill of tackling dishes not from his country, have improved greatly, even though their dishes typically stick close to home for them both. Why change what is already perfect? "What about you? Do you like it?"
