Harvest Haven

[Ochru]

Kai Hiwatari, father to Ochru Hiwatari got a disturbing message from his beyblade bit beast Dranzer that Dranzer sensed that Ochru was in trouble. And so, Kai made the long, long journey to Harvest Haven to check everything out. What he saw was a frightened woman, Terry watching over Ochru, and the answer to Kai's mystery. Ochru was hooked up to an IV and it looked like he was getting treatment. Sighing, Kai knew what happened. It was something Kai was afraid he might do as a young kid while blading.

Kai then looked around the farm for tools and saw a purple, glowing axe and wandered over to a tree cluster and charged up the weapon. He gave it a mighty swing and sure enough the cluster came down, rewarding Kai with seeds and lumber.

He then asked the frightened woman, "Hey, did my son tell you where he wanted lumber and seeds?"

jasmine looked at him for a minute and then replied " are you his father? hes laying down over there and not doing so good , he needs some help . Please go tend to him ?" and then stood there with her arms crossed a bit while she waited to see what the man would do next.

"Terry Bogard is tending to him at the moment. Now did anyone mention where my son wanted this lumber that I helped him harvest?"

One could tell that Kai was becoming impatient, like he always gets when he has to repeat himself. He didn't really blame Jasmine, perhaps she didn't know where Ochru wanted the lumber, but that would pose a small problem. That would mean that Kai would have to find a carpenter to build Ochru a shed for lumber or a lumber bin at the very least. Just how bad was this farm and how could his son take on such a monumental task alone? Kai knew that Dee had her own farm back at the Bogard mansion and he couldn't deny feeling grateful for Terry being there. But who did he know that was a carpenter and could he really afford to leave things like this?

Jasmine was new to the area and had no clue about the lumber was supposed to go and Ochre hadnt told her that either . " I am sorry but I really dont know where he wants the lumber ?" she replied trying to be of some kind of help but felt like she wasnt much help though.

Kai sighed heavily, but understood. He then asked, "Could you go into town and find a carpenter that can build us some buildings here on this farm? We will need a lumber bin, make that 3 separate lumber bins, a shed, a mill, a barn, a coop, a stable, and a greenhouse. In the meantime, I will place the lumber I already harvested close to the cabin."

Jasmine was new to the area and had no clue about the lumber was supposed to go and Ochre hadnt told her that either . " I am sorry but I really dont know where he wants the lumber ?" she replied trying to be of some kind of help but felt like she wasnt much help though.

Kai sighed heavily, but understood. He then asked, "Could you go into town and find a carpenter that can build us some buildings here on this farm? We will need a lumber bin, make that 3 separate lumber bins, a shed, a mill, a barn, a coop, a stable, and a greenhouse. In the meantime, I will place the lumber I already harvested close to the cabin."

" yes i will do that ... where should i go look though ?" she replied trying to do what he asked politely

Kai thought carefully. Then he replied, "I think I saw a sign called advertise with us on my way here, maybe post an ad there? Or go into the chatterbox areas in town and see who you can find."

Jason had heard there was a commotion nearby his shop and somebody yelling. He had thought he had hallucinated at first, but then, as he wandered onto the Harvest Haven farm, he saw that Ochru had been rendered unconscious although being looked after.

He then saw Kai talking with a girl that he didn't recognize, but he noticed that wild animals were walking up to the girl as if they wanted her to pet them or something. There was a bear, a raccoon, and a wolf.

Jason saw a broken down greenhouse in the one corner and had an idea. He could probably fix that up, but he would need his tools to do so. And so, five minutes later, he was taking down the old rusted pipes, carefully removing the broken shards of glass that had attempted to endure many storms, and then using some parts that he had in stock that looked rather valuable to be completely honest, he began repairing the frame. Being a bone specialist helped with this kind of thing because repairing it was just like setting bones and making sure they fit properly.

Ironically enough, he didn't even know if anyone noticed him.

Jasmine walked up to Jason and introduced herself " Hi I am jasmine and I run the petshop here . while i was talking to ochru he started to feel ill and asked me to find help "

Wiping some sweat from his brow, Jason replied, "Nice to meet you, Jasmine. I'm Jason. I run the bone specialist shop in town so if you have bone issues and that includes teeth, you come see me. I'll fix you up and getting you feeling as good as new. I mean.. in a medical sense. Ha ha ha. Oh, and when Ochru wakes up, tell him I fixed up that greenhouse for him. I'm no carpenter, but fixing this thing was more my specialty. He just needs someone to clean up the inside of it. There might be debris in there. If you see anything else around here that could use my talents, please let me know."

" Ochru , how are you feeling hun? are you ok ?" she lightly replied to him and hoped that he heard her talking to him ... she then looked over at Jason and replied " is he going to be alright ? I never seen this happen before"

"Trust me, he will be all right. He over worked himself is what seems to be the case here. But once he gets the rest he needs and then the nourishment on top of that, he will be as good as new. The thing is, all of the villagers have to help out in one way or another to prevent this from happening again. That greenhouse is one good place to start. Since the outside is repaired, why not take a peek inside and put the clutter found in there just outside of it so we can use the junk for stuff."
