The Question Game
This game is derived from Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Guidelines: 1. Simply, ask a question. No answers."Are you wearing pants?"
Good: "Why do you want to know?"
Bad: "Yes. Why do you ask?"
Good: "Do I have to have a reason?"
Bad: "I just wanted to know?" This isn't a question. It's an answer with a question mark behind it. Most questions start with the 5 W's & H, Are, Does, Is, Will, Can, and Do.
Allowed: "It depends...[question]?" It doesn't really answer the question. But it's not a question, so don't use it much, please. 2. Stay on topic; respond to the person above you. However, analogy-type questions--ones that have obvious answers--are permitted: Example:
"Are you ever going to answer me without a question?"
"Does a chicken have lips?"
3. Don't reply to yourself more than once. You: "Since when does that matter?"
You: Well?
You: Isn't someone going to answer me?"
You: What's wrong with your question?
You: How should I know?
Me: Will you stop that?! 4. Don't post the inverse of the previous question too much."What does that have to do with anything?"
"What doesn't it have to do with anything?"
"What do you mean?"
"What don't I mean?"
Gets annoying in excess and lacks creativity. 5. Don't play dumb too often.Example:
Aren't you going to answer my question?
What question?

Playing clueless stunts your creativity! 6. Reply to the question as though the previous poster was replying to you.Example:
Alice: "Am I playing this right?"
"Did you read the rules?"
"Why wouldn't he/she read the rules?" Preferred: Danny: "Did you have dinner?"
Eric: "Weren't you there with me?"
Francine: "Was that you across the table?" Treat the preceding question (the one before the question you're replying to) as your own. Or just avoid pronouns and such as much as possible. I think this will avoid confusion. But maybe it won't. If you really want to say "why are you antagonizing her" or "what do you think he meant" go right ahead. Nothing here is law, merely suggestions to give the game its proper gameplay.
