[TD: 2/18/22] Drew McIntyre VS. Trent [#1 Contender for WHC]

Last week on Monday Night WAR, Drew McIntyre has challenged Trent in a match, and we just got word that the winner of this match will receive a shot at the Royal Rumble for Bobby Roode's World Heavyweight Championship! Will necks be Broken, or will Dreams be broken instead!?!?

The huge announcement was just made that the following match would decide the number one contender for the WHC. The crowd were psyched to get into a huge match with a bunch of drama already packed inside of it. Only getting bigger.

An atmospheric calming sound would play throughout the arena through the PA System. Slowly culminating into a faster rhythm until finally it would reach the build up until finally hitting the climax as Left Alone would continue playing.

Trent would walk outside the entrance area, showing himself as he was radiating that same confidence he had the night of the pay-per-view where he would score his win over Kevin Owens. A smile, wide shoulders, tall posture with a sense of purpose in his step. This was a huge moment and, despite his adversary he had intentions of getting some revenge for a friend as well as winning and challenging the champion at the Rumble.

Trent would continue down the ramp, giving some high fives to the fans on the way down. Until he finally reached ringside, where he would round the left corner, head for the stair, climb up them and enter the ring. Wasting little to no time to want to start this match and confront the Scottish Brute, Drew McIntyre.

...A nice and mellow guitar solo with a decent tune played out through the arena for 12 seconds, as the voice of a young man would be heard from the PA system played from the outside of the building from the CWF production truck.



"..What's that metronome I hear?
perhaps the end is drawing near..
you never hear a shot that takes you down.."



"And his opponent, representing The Bullet Club, from Scotland, Drew McIntyre!"

The theme song would hit a heavy guitar solo as the crowd would erupt from how the song shifted from soft words and transitioned quickly to a more dominating verse. After some time, a man would appear from behind the curtain. It was the chosen one, hand picked by the owner of CWF, Vincent Kennedy McMahon to be the new face and future of the company..this would of been four years ago, as Drew McIntyre would make his return after being gone from the company for over four years. Drew McIntyre was a former CWF World Heavyweight Champion, listed as one of his accomplishments here in the business. The announcer would introduce Drew as he slowly approached to the ring. The look in his eye was chilling, and the expression upon his face was nerve-racking. The chosen one is back in CWF and that's to take care of business. Drew McIntyre wasn't third or second generation, or 'genetically gifted', but he was simply better because he wasn't born into this business. He worked his way into it. Drew continued to make his way down the ramp, as he would approach the ring. Ignoring the high fives from fans, he would turn towards the steel steps that were displayed near the ringside area, as he would walk up them one foot and step at a time...once he got upon the apron, he would walk towards the middle, and come into the ring through the second rope, as he would wait for his theme song to die down, standing in the center of the ring, looking at everyone in the crowd, as they would show mixed reactions towards him.

Trent would lean inside the corner. Staring down the giant of a man in front of himself. He has definitely faced bigger, but Drew is another beast entirely. A man I'm his own league for sure. But despite that, Trent still showed confidence in his stance and was ready to go through a war to claim his spot

Drew would whip his hair back with his neck, so his vision was locked and loaded onto Trent. This was Drew McIntyre's Road to WrestleMania, and he wasn't going to let this has-been crush his dreams. The referee would then call for the bell for this match to start.

Both contestants were ready as the official called for the bell. Once the match started, Trent would exit his corner slowly, approaching Drew, waiting to see how he wanted to approach this match

Circling the ring, Drew would keep it calm and collective as he would wait for Trent to make the first move, shouting "COME ON!!"

Trent began to circle at the same pace as Drew. The Scottish Brute would yell that he wanted it, and Trent looked to go for it. Trent looked to fake the collar and elbow and try to slip a headlock in. Not liking his chances in a battle of strength here.

With the collar and elbow tie up, followed by a side headlock, Drew would look to power Trent off by shoving him to the furthest set up ropes!

Trent would look to keep the hold in a bit longer, driving himself down to a knee to add a bit of tork onto the hold. Not wanting to let Drew move around so freely

As Trent dropped to a knee applying pressure, Drew would only bend over, still staying on his feet. He would grapple Trent around his waist, looking to lift him while the headlock was synched in.

Despite the spot he had Drew in, he was still getting lifted in the air with the hold in place. Trying to do whatever he can to get back in a favorable position

Having Trent in position, and holding him for a few seconds, he would look to lift him higher to then plant him to the canvas with a Belly to Back Suplex!

Trent would be thrown backwards, crashing almost on his neck from the suplex

Drew would then sit there and favor his neck from the headlock, having an annoyed, pissed off expression on his face even. He would get to his feet, and yell at Trent. "SET YOUR AZZZ DOWN, BOY!!"
