This is when they went into the Tourist Trap Business. Nowadays, Metropolis is home to the Superman Tourist Attraction such as the Phone Booth, Billboards, Merchandise, Parades and more. They even have a Newspaper called "Metropolis Planet".
Or they had it all... until today when it was Dire Headlines in the Metropolis Planet Newspapers!
