[ORP] The Kateri herd is snowed in!

Prompt: Wintertime in the Kawani is in full swing, and February is no exception! A strong snowstorm and cold front has blown into the lands, blanketing much of the land in white. Some areas have completely been overwhelmed by snow--and places that are typically warmer or never see the stuff have also been covered in the white stuff.

How is your Soquili handling this snowstorm? Were they caught unaware? Are they experiencing snow for the first time, or are they used to it? What do they do now that they're living in a winter wonderland?


Kateri-specific plots: Since the herd lives in a secluded valley with only the one winding hidden path the snow can be a massive hazard! So now that the snow has made the pass impossible we have several operations in the herd that need to happen! Some will need to start unburying the pass. Others need to check out the food and prepare to ration as needed. Those with wings should be going out to try to find the stragglers that got caught outside the herd lands during the blizzard. This ORP is the inside of the herdlands. Another ORP will be created for the stragglers stranded outside.

There weren't many dangers inside the Kateri's herd lands. It was an oasis, hidden and protected with almost everything they could ever want or need inside it. Almost. There were things they sent gatherers out to acquire and with the blizzard that tore through the lands there was a lot of anxiety in the herd about finding them and bringing them home. Everyone seemed on high alert and most members were trying to busy themselves to keep from worrying. After all, until the pass was cleared there was literally nothing anyone could do. Even those with wings who left to search wouldn't be able to bring anyone back inside until the snow was cleared.

So everyone who wasn't busy hauling snow was trying to find alternative tasks. Lazarus was new to the herd and unsure of some of their ways, but he knew that checking food stores would be a good idea. He headed in the direction of the food stores to see if anyone needed help rationing.
