[PRP] Winter Warmth [Adonis x Malibu Swirl]

The sun would soon set, which meant another cold night for him. A small sigh of dissatisfaction, it was now that he would have longed for the company of the mare that was so interested in his long locks. He parted ways after the conversation couldn't be lifted off her favorite hobby. Plants? Sure, plants were interesting...but it was impossible to get her off the topic. He wanted to talk about himself, a little about her and a lot more about him. He supposed the plants were better than being alone on another winter night. The stallion left the cave, letting the winter chill reach him. Arching his neck to the sky and a smile spreading across his face, "ahhhh," as he shook out his thick mane. He rejoiced this weather, for he enjoyed not overheating. The summer with his mane was a disaster, and he was too vain to let one of the humans dare touch it.

Eyes glancing over the terrain and not a sign of life. His thoughts going back to how he should have just bitten his tongue. She was just so dull. He needed someone more exciting to entertain his company. He looked down at the iced over lake, as fresh snow fell starting to cover the surface. Some days he missed the lushness of spring, but it was moments like this that made winter so enjoyable.

Wintertime was in full swing, and Malibu Swirl had taken the opportunity to explore. He had been eager to branch out and spend time away from his family -- not, of course, because he didn't care about them -- but because he wanted to meet others, and see the world. Wanderlust had gripped him hard, and though he had every intention of visiting, he was quite eager to see what lay beyond the familiar hills and plains.

He had started off his journey a few weeks prior, and though snow, ice, and wind had caused him some trouble, his spirits weren't dampened by the inclement weather. Winter, he'd discovered, made for both a lovely sight, and a fantastic excuse for snuggling and keeping close. Like his mother and father, Malibu was a lover of love -- and he could find beauty in just about anyone. Not every soquili, he discovered, appreciated his flirtations or his propositions, but he never let rejection get him down--or at least, he tried not to. It was only during the coldest of nights he might regret having no one to help keep in the warmth.

So it was, Malibu was in the midst of a bit of a dry spell when he caught sight of Adonis -- and what a sight that turned out to be! It was difficult not to see the colorful stallion for his black coat stood out starkly against the white snows. The stranger had the most luxurious locks Malibu had ever seen--and given his own thick hair, that was quite a feat! Still, the aquamarine eyed stallion wasn't one to be struck speechless. Trotting forward, he pondered his approach -- how exactly did he wish to greet this stranger? Like much in his life, Malibu Swirl was fairly easy going, and tended to move through life without any planning; he rolled with the punchse, and drifted like a leaf on the wind. So it was, like everthing, the colorful stallion decided to wing it.

"Well hello there, handsome," he greeted appreciatively. "I was beginning to think I was alone in traversing the Kawani this winter. Nice to see I'm not alone in braving the cold weather," and all the better that Adonis was so fine on the eyes.
