Estelle started off the day with a nice hot cup of tea to see what the day had in store for her. The leaves looked like Ziri, the moon, and a clover. It seemed that she was going to encounter someone loyal, friendly, wise and lucky or she was going to meet different characters today. It could be interpreted a few ways but she was hopeful that it would be just one. She could feel the excitement bubbling up inside her as she thought about being lucky enough to make a potential new loyal friend. She spoke excitedly to Ziri and wondered just what kind of someone she would meet. "What should we do first ziri? Why don't we gather some flowers and take them to the others?" She loved to gift her sisters with flowers and other trinkets she found. The little ferret had been running around her with excitement and then scurried up her tail to rest on her back. They were ready to set off on their flower finding journey.

It was really a lovely day, the sun hanging lazily in the clear skies above riddled with nothing more than a few stray puffy clouds slowly making their way across the vast blue. It was below these ideal conditions did one heart beat a little quicker than most would on a day like today...standing at the very edge of his herd grounds. Teo had been outside of his herd's territory before...but the older he became the less he really enjoyed heading out into the great vastness that was the world outside. Why would he? His lands were perfect in every sense. It was always a wonderful climate, he had the lush beauty of temperate rainforest with such vibrant colors. His herd settled on a peninsula surrounded by beach and sea; tucked away behind a range of mountains with one of the main passages being a small trail between the sea and a rock cropping which dissipated in high tide. Plenty to eat, plenty of company with his family and growing herd mates...what possibly could be out in the world that he really needed to head to? His siblings often headed out in search of knowledge, adventure and the sorts yet it just wasn't something he felt his heart yearn for. In fact, he and his heart were fine just as they were. It wasn't like he had missions out here, but still....a small distance wouldn't hurt.

Well, he hoped it wouldn't. Surely he wasn't so unlucky as to run into some malevolent creature while traversing just outside his herd lands.

His bells jangled softly as he was properly mainland now, finding himself amidst an outcropping of apple trees, studying their spring blossoms as he stood below. They had a number of these back home but they had been different species that his father had gathered...although they did look the same when he was observing the flowers. "I wonder what you'll be..."

As her fuchsia eyes flicked over the flowers she would typically pick from, she found herself not wanting any of them. This was her typical spot and they always liked the flowers but today was different. She couldn't quite nail down what was different about it but she just knew these were not going to cut it. She wanted to surprise them with other flowers.
This would mean that she would have to venture away from the grove and the familiar terrain. Maybe this was why her fortune was so different today. She mulled it over in her mind very carefully though because it would mean leaving behind her ability to make a decision. Ziri started to squeak at her from her back as if he knew what she was thinking about. The little ferret familiar did his best to keep her in line but she just couldn't help it. She needed the reassurance that she was making the right decision. The thought danced through her mind about if she should really venture away from the grove for flowers. Ziri started to squeak louder as he moved from her back to her neck. It was as if he could tell she was considering doing something to see if it was the best decision.
He wasn't a true familiar but a normal ferret that she bonded with so she couldn't understand him per say. Though they had been together for a long time and she imagined he was scolding her. As much as he helped her with her divination, he let her know when he didn't approve of something.

She shook her head as if to clear her mind of all the thoughts. She needed to focus on what she was doing or she would never get the flowers. She cast a look back to where her make shift table of divination was back in the grove. Ziri started to squeak again and she sighed heavily. "Okay okay I get it." She grumbled and forced her eyes back in front of her. The ferret quieted down but remained on the tied material around her neck. She sighed again but also took a deep breath. This was truly going to be a different day. She was leaving the comfort of the grove she called home to venture into the unknown and it scared her but excited her too.
