- ■ Jade adored her brother, who was seven years older than her. Him being obsessed with all things space, a favourite past time of theirs was discussing the cosmos. Additionally, learning as much as she could while they were apart from one another would impress him every summer and winter when she was home. So, the blonde had tried very hard in and outside of class to study for astronomy, which resulted in her doing outstandingly.
xxxCHARMS ~ Oxxx
- ■ Being rather light with her wand work came in handy with charms as Jade was able to maneuver her wrist in such a way to cast them perfectly. Her pine and hippogriff talon wand tended to do better with charms than with a lot of other types of magic. Those reasons, plus studying, enabled Jade to perform outstandingly on the exam.
xxxDEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS ~ Oxxx
- ■ After having been kidnapped a few years back, Jade grew terrified of ever being helpless in that situation again. As such, she understood the importance of being able to defend herself against all things evil. The blonde had arguably put the most amount of effort into practicing the spells she had learned in DADA compared to another other class to ensure that she'd be able to defend herself if she needed to in the future. Doing so had also gotten her an O on her exam.
xxxHERBOLOGY ~ Oxxx
- ■ As an outdoorsy tomboy, Jade spent a lot of time outside and in the dirt. She especially enjoyed learning about the various herbs and plants that could be used for healing purposes as becoming a healer is her dream job. Since she was actually interested in herbology and didn't mind getting down and dirty, she performed outstandingly on the exam.
xxxHISTORY OF MAGIC ~ Axxx
- ■ Not a class that Jade was particularly interested in, she didn't study as much as she should have to do better than an A. Her efforts were mostly focused on classes where she'd be using spells. Additionally, she was a little skeptical when it came to learning about certain periods of history, especially if they happened a long time ago. How could they be so sure that the information was accurate?
xxxPOTIONS ~ EExxx
- ■ Jade was a little worried that she wouldn't have done well enough of the exam for at least an EE. The spell work she performed on her potions was flawless, but the actual mixing and applying the right amount of ingredients were not. Luckily, had studied enough to be able to continue with the class.
xxxTRANSFIGURATION ~ EExxx
- ■ Her pliable hippogriff talon wand tended to do better with transfiguration than with a lot of other types of magic. Jade also was rather strong with performing spells. However, due to her sensitivity with shifting emotions, she was sometimes able to transfigure even the most difficult beings while other times, she found the "easiest ones" to be rather challenging. While at her exam, she felt rather nervous and made a mistake here and there, which resulted in an EE on the exam.

xxxALCHEMY ~ Pxxx
- ■ Combining transfiguration and potions (along with chemistry) proved to be rather difficult for Jade. Her potion-making skills weren't superb and transfiguration was difficult for her a good chunk of the time. She thought she would have done well enough to pass the exam, but she supposed her nerves may have gotten to her. Or perhaps, she just didn't study enough.
xxxARITHMANCY ~ Axxx
- ■ Numbers and math was not a huge strength of Jade's, and arithmancy wasn't a subject she was particularly interested in. She took the class as she thought it might be useful to know, but she only studied enough to pass.
xxxCARE OF MAGICAL CREATURES ~ Oxxx
- ■ Jade is very caring of all things living and she loved animals. The magical ones fascinated her, and learning to care for them was enjoyable. Studying for this class didn't feel all too much like studying, but more like fun, so she studied more than enough to get an O.
xxxCURSEBREAKING ~ Oxxx
- ■ Being rather talented in spell work, Jade didn't have too much of a problem removing, countering, or breaking curses that were placed on objects. Just like with DADA, she thought that this class would be highly So, the blonde studied a lot for this class and ended up performing outstandingly on the exam.
xxxDIVINATION ~ Axxx
- ■ Jade was not very skilled in foreseeing the future or gathering insights into the past. She found that the class itself was interesting enough, but she rather struggled actually doing anything useful. Luckily, she was able to do well enough on the exam to pass.
xxxGHOUL AND GHOST STUDIES ~ Axxx
- ■ Jade took ghoul and ghost studies mostly for fun. She found learning about the creatures interesting, but she didn't care too much what grade she ended up with. However, she wanted to make sure she did well enough on the exam to be able to continue with the class.
xxxHEALING ~ Oxxx
- ■ Being rather light with her wand work came in handy with healing as Jade was able to maneuver her wrist in such a way to cast spells and heal wounds perfectly. Her pine wood wand tended to do better with healing than with a lot of other types of magic. Those reasons, plus studying, enable Jade to perform outstandingly on the exam.
xxxMUGGLE STUDIES ~ Axxx
- ■ Jade took muggle studies mostly for fun. Coming from a fully magical household, she found learning about how muggles lived their everyday lives interesting, but she didn't care too much what grade she ended up with. However, she wanted to make sure she did well enough on the exam to be able to continue with the class.
xxxMYTHOLOGY ~ Oxxx
- ■ Jade found it very interesting that a lot of what muggles considered mythology was actually real and true. As the mythology they learned was similar to a lot of other topics, such as magical creatures, she found the material quite easy to learn and ended up with an O on the exam.
xxxSTUDY OF ANCIENT RUNES ~ EExxx
- ■ Jade took this class mostly for fun, but she didn't care too much what grade she ended up with as long as she passed to be able to continue with the class. She supposed she studied more than she needed to as she ended up exceeding expectations.
xxxWANDLESS MAGIC PRACTICE CLASS ~ Oxxx
- ■ Jade knew that if she was ever in danger, performing wandless magic would come in handy, especially if her wand was broken or stolen. The blonde found that performing wandless magic might have actually been a bit easier than with a wand as her wand was quite sensitive to emotions, and its power depended a lot on that. Jade, an emotional being, found that her magic was stronger if she was nervous or upset without her wand than with it, and ended up doing outstandingly on the exam.
xxxWANDLORE STUDIES ~ Axxx
- ■ Yet another class that Jade had taken for fun as it was interesting enough to learn about. However, she did not end up doing well enough on the exam to continue with the class next year.
xxxWIZARD LAW ~ Oxxx
- ■ Jade really wanted to impress her mum, who previously worked in the International Magical Office of Law, and now, in the Wizengamot. Even more weight of doing well was added to Jade's shoulders when she learned over Christmas holidays that her mum would be applying as the Wizard Law instructor for the following year. The blond felt the pressure but made sure to study enough for an O on the exam.
