- → Astronomy: EE
- As far as Lainey cared to know, stars were big fiery balls in the sky that sometimes came arranged in pretty patterns. Lainey enjoyed looking at them and thought they were pretty, but she did not like studying about them, it took away the romanticism. It was only pride that got her to study to score higher than an A.
→ Charms: A
- The result of this exam made Lainey want to commit murder. Charms already was not one of her better classes. Then some p***k chose the day she dedicated to studying it to pull a mass hair-raising prank and Lainey lost too much precious study time in the chaos that ensued. Then sheer dumb luck caused her to make a stupid mistake in the practical exam and cost her an EE. She wanted to scream.
→ DADA: O
- DADA was not Lainey's best class but she'll be damned before she let Benji show her up. It was his favourite class so it was her sisterly duty to rub it into his face that she could be just as good if not better than him. And in the end, her practice paid off.
→ Herbology: A
- Lainey hated Herbology and anything that needed her to intentionally dig her fingers into gross dirt and potentially touch whatever creepy crawling creatures might be in there. Despite that, at least part of the class required her to study and memorise from books so she worked her arse off to compensate for her poor practical and scraped by with an A.
→ History of Magic: EE
- Lainey was really close to getting an O in this subject. She was good at it, she didn't have trouble memorising dates and names. But a minor mistake that she stupidly didn't catch until just before the exam ended cost her a perfect score and resulted in EE.
→ Potions: O
- Potions came easy to Lainey, which was funny because she did not enjoy Potions and considered it boring. It did mean that she didn't need to study as hard for this subject as others and no matter how much she disliked the class, she was still quite pleased with her grade.
→ Transfiguration: EE
- Transfiguration was another class that Lainey wanted to excel at but it didn't come naturally to her. She studied and practised and she did better in the exam than she usually did in classes, but she didn't do as well as she'd hoped.

- → Alchemy: EE
- To Lainey's great disappointment, alchemy was not similar to alchemy from Fullmetal Alchemist. While unfortunate, it still was interesting and she did enjoy studying for it even if she didn't end up learning how to bury Benji up to his neck in dirt. She just barely missed getting O which really bothered her.
→ Divination: A
- Divination class wan't too bad; Lainey considered it one of her easier classes and didn't spend too much time on it as she figured other subjects needed her attention more. This ended up biting her in the arse and much to her chagrin, she struggled more than she expected in the exam
→ Ghost and Ghoul Studies: EE
- Like hell was Lainey going to get anything less than EE for a class about ghosts, even if ghouls were gross. It would be amazing if she managed to get an O but given how the rest of her OWLs went, she was fine with an EE.
→ Healing: EE
- Healing did not come easily to Lainey and she hated it. She always wanted to be good at it like some of her favourite fantasy characters, so the fact that she wasn't made her mad. She forced herself to practise often and in the end, she wished she scored better but was okay with her final grade.
→ Mythology: O
- Mythology was Lainey's favourite class, considering it to be one step away from fairy tales. She already enjoyed reading her textbooks and studying for this class didn't require much additional work. She was quite proud of the O she scored for this subject.
→ Study of Ancient Runes: EE
- Ancient Runes was fascinating to Lainey and she did well in classes, except for the teeny problem where she sometimes mixed similar runes together. She did practise tests and quizzes and thought she was doing well, but a couple of moments where she second guessed her answer led to a grade lower than what she'd like.
→ Wizard Law: O
- Lainey thrived on arguments and technicalities, and she wasn't half bad at memorising. The law class was drier than she'd like but she still easily managed to excel in the exam.
