The temple of Glitter was a beautiful place, if you were into that sort of thing. Zerah was, of course, into it. He was stretched out on a glitter chaise lounge, enjoying the twinkling ceiling above. Although visitors were not precisely rare, his was a temple that received only moderate patronage most of the time. "Cedric," he called, twirling the end of a lock of hair around his finger idly. "Did you have anything in mind for this evening's entertainments?" Had he remembered to put in that pastry order? Oh, he could make them like any other god, but there was something quite satisfying about enjoying something made by someone else.
It was a quiet night at the temple, and although Zerah occasionally reveled in the silence, by nature he was a sociable creature. He loved parties, dances, and all manner of celebrations. Although he couldn't get drunk unless he chose to, he did like going out for drinks. More than that, he loved inviting others over for cocktails, although they usually did end up being glittering cocktails. Tonight he'd decided to spend with his angelique alone, however, even though he did love to entertain.

Twirling a bit of glitter around his finger, Zerah pondered his mate's suggestion. "Hmm... yes, we are expecting pastries." Although when they would arrive, that was not entirely certain. But if it made Cedric happy to think of indulging in pastries in a bath together, he was not opposed. "Why not? It does sound nice." It was not a party or a little soiree, but it was quality time with his man. That was more than enough, surely. Glancing up from the chaise lounge, he admired the fit angelique, a smile curving his lips.
Why the god had ordered pastries instead of merely summoning them was a bit of a mystery. Then again, so was Zerah. "Why not get the bath running, then? I'm sure the pastries will be arriving soon." He slipped off of the chaise lounge and onto his feet, walking toward where Cedric sat perched on a stool. "My, you do wear glitter well, don't you?" he remarked fondly, approaching his mate.

Although Cedric towered over him significantly, Zerah's presence loomed large. He was a god, and though not a racial god, certainly powerful enough in his own right. More than that, he was spunky and vivacious. Enough to make Cedric blush with just a few words, it seemed. A smile crossed Zerah's lips. "Good." He could have started the bath from here, if he chose... but sometimes he liked watching Cedric do things. His mate's willingness to bend to his whims pleased him.
As did his mate, in general. "Yes, you do. You wear it very well indeed." He beamed up at Cedric, quite content to gaze into his beloved face. "Ooh, yes... but I wouldn't mind hearing it once more," he said, and then wormed his way into Cedric's arms. It wasn't hard, given just how very large his mate was, compared to his own petite form. But it was pleasant, and he did not tire of doing it.
