Blumiere
Prince of the Mushroom Kingdom (Timpani's Brother)
"This magic show is about to begin!"

[Player's Room, Card Sharks Sound Stage WIP]

*Mermaid Princess RP Guild: OOC Cult Classic Children's Game Shows*
Narrator: Okay. Let's Start in Order... Starting with the Children's Games.

1. Finders Keepers 1987 = Nickelodeon/Fox
"When Lightning Strikes Twice for Nickelodeon back then, they go into unexplored areas. With this Game being a Hidden Object Themed Game, its really fun to see pictures of thousands of items hidden in it but back then, this was before the I Spy Book Series which did not appear until 1992 & its Sister Book Series, Can You See What I See which did no show up until 2002.
In Other Words, the Hidden Object Genre was New back then."

2. Total Panic 1989 = Nickelodeon
"While 1989 was a Fantastic Year for Disney with The Little Mermaid which changed the way Mermaid Stories are told with a Mermaid getting her Happy Ending and marrying her Human Prince, Nickelodeon took their First Steps into making Participation Shows. Total Panic was an experiment to see if they wanted Games, Interviews, Previews, Reviews & More into one show, and it did pretty good. But for 2-3 Hours might have been overdoing it as VHS Tapes back then could hold 2 Hours of Footage..."

User Image
3. Think Fast 1989 = Nickelodeon
"With a Double Dare Take on Stunt Challenges mixed with Brain Teaser Puzzles, this was pretty fun to see when you mix two & two together. Even the Locker Room Endgame had fun people in Costumes along with their own sketches at the start of the show sometimes."

User Image
4. Make the Grade 1989 = Nickelodeon
"With a Dry General Knowledge Trivia Structure, the Fire Drills are fun to play and hopefully allows a player to maintain the lead, steal the lead or lose the lead. The University Round, however, was the closest to the Pressure of Who Wants to Be a Millionare's First 5 Questions leading to the $1,000 Checkpoint."

User Image
5. Outta Here 1990 = Nickelodeon
"Nickelodeon's Second Take at Participation Shows which operated the Same as Total Panic but with a slight amount of refinements as it was the First Nickelodeon Show to be taped at Nickelodeon Studios when its doors were opened in 1990."

6. Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego 1996 = PBS
"With only 2 Seasons until 1998, it had a Great Time Machine Setting that runs on Brain Power and Motif alongside Comedy Sketches which felt like a Sequel to Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego. To see it Return would be fun to see and more Sketches to give it a Combination of Saturday Night Live, Amanda Show & All That Tone. Seeing it return with a New Rouges Gallery for Carmen's Gang as a Game brings new light to this PBS Classic Game of the Late 1990s."

User Image
7. Jep 1998 = Game Show Network
"A return to Daytime Format of Jeopardy but with a Nickelodeon Style of Humor and its Penalty System of 3 Incorrect Answers which puts a Player out of action for a Single Clue might be tough but by putting one player behind the wall should a player answer incorrectly 3 times, the third and final light would not be lit for the 2 remaining players which I think would balance the play field."

*Mermaid Princess RP Guild: OOC Cult Classic Game Shows Part 2*
Narrator: Next is the Adults Games as in the TV-G Kind...

User Image
8. Second Chance 1977 = ABC
"A Press Your Luck Predecessor that laid the Foundations for 1983's Press Your Luck on CBS. As the Name implies, if a Player got the answer wrong or if a Player thinks he or she guessed wrong, they can re-answer the question for a single point to his or her score.
But still, its pretty fun even though it was one of the Shows where its Master Tapes were wiped and reused for other shows leaving the Pilot Episode as a Sole Survivor."

User Image
9. The All New Price is Right 1994 = Syndication
"I think this has potential to work if both Daytime & Nighttime Versions were combined together as its it can be good Half Hour Fun Game where we see 3 Players at the Showcase Showdown to see which 2 would advance to the Showcase after 3 Rounds or 6 Rounds if was an Hour Length.
The Pricing Games play the same way as the Daytime Version which is good to know."

User Image
10. Shopping Spree 1997 = Freeform (Formerly: Family Channel/Fox Family/ABC Family)
"The Whole idea of a Game where Every Episode is a Costume Party is fantastic as seen on Let's Make a Deal but it came out around the time when Fox purchased Family Channel and turned into Fox Family. Like Supermarket Sweep & Shop Til You Drop, its one of those Games that is fun to play rather than to win, like the Children's Games I talked about earlier."

User Image
12. Pyramid 2002 = Syndication
"The Game's Tournament Format is Complicated at Best. If Pyramid 2002 used the Classic Rule Set rather than a Complicated Rule Set, then this would play out like the $100K Pyramid but with a Breath of Fresh Air & a New Coat of Paint."

User Image
13. All New Card Sharks 2001 = Syndication
"Like Pyramid 2002 & The All New Price is Right 1994, while retaining its Original Formula, this can work but only if the Classic Elements were not tossed aside to make this game as it was back in 1978."

Narrator: ...And let's hope that I don't have to add anything else to this list.

*Overall: Card Sharks*
Narrator: Overall, Card Sharks, both 1978 & 1986 Versions are fun as they were both fantastic shows where using a Card Game as a Theme was pretty new at the time. While Family Feud started 2 Years beforehand, Card Sharks took the Survey Questions and put a new twist on them.
The 1986 Updated Version was a fantastic example of this game along with with adding a Joker Prize Game after the Money Cards.
The 2001 Version, however, looked the part as it did in 1978 but missed the mark with too many changes such as the Clip Chip Questions.

Well, that was pretty fun to hear about Card Sharks. Blumiere said to his friends
