The goddess let out a slow breath, sitting upon her throne in the facsimile of the temple that manifested in the Realm of the Gods, her mate beside her on his. Below the dais upon which their thrones rested was a very long table with chairs all facing the Goddess and her Angelique. She sent out a call and all of her bats to go and fetch the members of her family for this all-important meeting. While she preferred to continue living in bliss, there was a startling number of new vampires appearing, along with the new god and the use of the spear of destiny. All of it troubling. She reached across the space between her and Demosthenes and rested her hand atop his on the arm of his throne. And here she would wait.
