The Sin Bin was sort of an incredible name. Told a story in a couple of words and set the tone before anyone ever stepped foot inside. Hex entered the facade with the sign, walking down the stairs after passing the front bouncer, and entering the actual Sin Bin moments later. This was the place to be if you were a clanless vampire, and clanless he was. He had a feeling he'd like this place for more than just that fact, but it was a good place to start.

Hex had been raised by mortals despite being vampire in nature. His parents had never learned the truth, but they had instilled in him many exceptions when it came to a couple of different topics. Music had been one of them. His mortal parents were stellar musicians despite their other shortcomings. The Sin Bin seemed to be exactly the sort of place he wanted to be for that reason alone.

He wanted to talk to someone on staff about somehow performing there. Hex didn't have a band just yet, but he had a voice that was considered rather skilled. His eyes weren't currently glowing, but he took a seat at the bar and waved to get a drink along with asking the bartender a question. Currently some relatively good bass music was playing, though it seemed to be more of a track instead of someone playing live. The blond leaned in as the bartender took his order. "Is the DJ around?" Hex had heard through the grapevine that the DJ was the one to talk to, in order to see if he could sneak onto the music list somehow. Or at least start to figure out how to do that.

Of course, Hex had no idea that he was actually sitting next to the DJ at the bar. Considering he had never been at the Sin Bin before, it was understandable he didn't know what the other man looked like. The vampire just found himself hoping the bartender wasn't as new as he was.

Sitting at the bar was a vampire who, somehow, seemed to match the inner decor of The Sin Bin perfectly, as if he had fashioned himself after the club's aesthetic, though it had been merely a coincidence. His blue eyes seemed to glow, emphasized and brightened by the lights above, and those eyes shifted to glance over to the newcomer who had just sat down next to him.

EvRi shifted uncomfortably on his stool, and paused with a drink of dark amber liquid in a tumbler held halfway up towards his face, his eyes narrowing.

Someone was asking for him. <********>. This had something to do with those bogus house rules he'd seen floating around, didn't it? Some a*****e, or perhaps several (he could think of a few who would have done it) had listed him as the person to come to if they wanted to perform at the club. And what the ******** did he know about hiring talent? Not a damn thing.

His coworkers were a bunch of trolls.

Shooting the bartender a look, he gave a minute shake of his head, as if to say don't you dare.

Of course, that did absolutely nothing. The bartender only smirked knowingly and then pointed directly at EvRi, who was now giving said bartender a death glare.

Lifting his glass the rest of the way to his lips, he took a very long sip, draining the glass in one go and setting it down before hopping off the stool, suddenly very intent on getting as far away as possible.

Hex wasn't sure what to expect, but the second the bartender pointed to the man sitting next to him the blond grinned. The DJ was dressed for the job, perhaps it should have been obvious with those headphones, but Hex also saw that the man was trying to run away very quickly.

"Hey, lemme buy you a drink!" Hex reached out in a bit of a wave, almost touching the other man's shoulder but stopping short to point back at the bar. "No stress. If the answer's no, the answers no. Free drink no matter which way it goes." He wasn't the best at smoothing things over or holding himself back when he got excited, but Hex was really trying here. His mother always told him to keep cool until you needed to apply pressure, while his father was much more aggressive overall.

"Two of whatever he was just drinking." Before the other man could agree, Hex was looking back at the bartender and sliding back into the seat he had half stood up from. There was a certain electricity that wanted to pulse through him, but Hex kept a handle on it for the time being. He didn't want to light up like a disco ball when he was trying to convince someone to let him sing one night. At least... not yet. "My name's Hex." Might as well start with introductions, right?
